The massage was a total of three minutes at best and it was only with the sugar scrub. Absolutely unacceptable treatment. If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife recently visited Lotus Nail Spa for the first time. She had looked forward to going here after long, exhausting 12-hour shifts. Getting her nails done is one of the very few self-care rituals she allows herself, a simple pleasure that helps her decompress and recharge. What was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience turned into an incredibly upsetting and humiliating ordeal. While the male nail tech was removing her existing polish, she experienced sharp discomfort, so much so that she instinctively moved her hand slightly back. Not abruptly, not aggressively, just a natural reaction to pain. Instead of understanding, or even checking in on her to see if she was okay, the nail tech snapped at her. My wife, who is the kindest, most patient person you could meet, was shocked and tried to explain that it hurt. Rather than listening or adjusting their technique, the nail tech escalated the situation and very rudely told her to leave. She was forced out of the salon in front of other customers simply because she reacted to pain caused by the technician. The situation was handled with zero empathy and absolute disrespect. The scene that was caused by the staff was entirely unnecessary, unprofessional, and humiliating. Everyone heard it. Everyone saw it. It was embarrassing and left my wife feeling awful. There was no attempt to understand or resolve the situation calmly, no apology, no accountability, just instant dismissal. For a salon that supposedly caters to wellness and relaxation, this was the exact opposite. We will never return to Lotus Nail Spa, and I strongly advise anyone who values being treated with dignity and respect to take their business elsewhere. There are plenty of salons that know how to treat their customers with basic kindness. This place is not one of them. read more

Unethical - they have a Groupon on line that you can buy but when you get there or call to make the appointment, they rudely tell you that they do t take Groupons. That they are working with Groupon to get it taken down. And if you've already bought it you'll just have to go to Groupon and try to get a refund. SO RUDE!! Like he was the one offended. I waited two hours for a fill in. He kept getting up every 5 seconds to do other things. Maybe owner/manager not sure, he didn't tell me his name. It's the sloppiest fill I've ever had. The nail beds are lumpy. He didn't do any oil, lotion or alcohol on the shellac. I had to ask him to fix one and he didn't do a great job with that so I gave up and just paid and left. So I've frequented this place since they opened, not consistently but when I get a pedi. This time I got a mani pedi, and asked for my press on nails to be applied. I called them earlier and the gentleman said it wouldn't be an issue. I get here, get checked in. I was seated for a pedi- another man quickly comes over and starts putting on my press on nails, I thought he was fitting them. He glued them on, didn't soak my hands, Clip my cuticle or anything. The package I got included a full mani. If I'm paying for a service, I expect that it be given. I was charged for a mani and didn't get one....at all. Very subpar, he could've at least cleaned my nails up before putting these on. read more

I get that the job is to do nails, but when I as a customer bring up things that are going wrong, such as bubbling and rippling on top of the nails, the fact that the lady kept filing down my nails well beyond the shape that I stated I wanted, and that the small amount of smiple color detail I wanted became smudged and even after the fact of bringing it up, I was ignored regardless. I don't know what it was but if you want things to be done right, this isn't the place to go in my experience. read more

This was my first time at Lotus. I got there early on a Friday morning before they opened. Several others came in within a few minutes but Lotus had plenty of nail techs working, so nobody had to wait. Staff were very nice and friendly. The facility is pretty and clean. Idk what the guy was thinking but I went to get my toes redone and asked him to remove the old acrylic I had on my two big toes and he didn't soak them off either, he proceeded to try and pry them off and the first one he done he didn't get it all the way off and a piece of my real nail was lifting up. Heard nothing but great things from a few people so decided to try it out. Arrived at 5:45 and I guess they close at 6:00. Their door was open so I signed in. They sat me down and I told them I wanted sns on my nails. The guy completely rushed through doing my nails because it was almost closing time. He didn't cut my cuticles, file my nails or anything! Asked for a dip manicure and was left with cuts all around my cuticles, some cuticles not even cut, and the dip polish not all the way down to the nail bed. Terrible customer service. Came here for a mani/pedi the day before vacation. I could handle starting 45 min after my appointment time then being rushed through both services. But my gel mani started peeling off multiple nails by bedtime. I called from the airport the next morning and was told their policy is "no refunds" and that if I couldn't come back in right away (I'm at the airport...) the only thing they could offer is 15% off next time. Clearly something was done wrong and I offered to send photos, but the salon wouldn't stand by their work. I'll now have to pay a second time for the same service elsewhere. Even if I wanted to return for a future 15% off service (I don't, given this interaction), that's a few dollars compared to having to pay for a full redo now. When I was trying to talk this through with Anthony, he hung up on me. It could have been easily addressed, but he was unwilling to honor the service I paid and tipped for. read more

I had previously enjoyed good experiences here, but recently went in to have them repair a damaged nail from a newly acquired gel nail treatment received from them the week before. They refused to fix the nail. They were very cocky and didn't really seem to care if I stayed or went .... so I went. I would suggest others do the same. You do not go want to go here. Very cheap and frugal employees but charge high prices to customer. The nail and pedicure techs were not even going to use a top coat or under coat on my polish until I questioned them. When I asked for a magazine I was told they had none and I should just use my phone. The place looks like a wharehouse, very little pics on the wall and the staff was looking around and doing excessive laughter in thier native language. It was terrible and uncomfortable and almost 90 dollars for a crappy pedicure and fill in. I was charged 10 dollars extra because I asked to have my feet exfoliated for rough skin on the bottom. I had heard good things about this place from friends so I decided to give it a try but when I went I got there just before they started to get busy. All I needed was an SNS polish removal and an SNS manicure. I didn't get the manicure because my manicurist told me she decided without consulting me that I "didn't need" a manicure as if that was her decision to make. Then on top of that she tried to charge me for the manicure I did not receive. SO incredibly rude and unnecessary. I went to get a manicure because I had a bad week and I wanted to make myself feel better but they just made it worse. I think the only reason I didn't get the manicure I asked for was because of how busy they were but considering they were offering a service that I was willing to pay for I don't think it's acceptable. I doubt I will ever be returning because if this is how they treat first time customers I would hate to see how they treat returning customers. read more
