Until now, I've never had a pedicure where the nail polish chipped in the first couple days. I was happy with the service, the woman really took her time and was very nice. But a pedicure chipping? That's unheard of! By the end of the week most of the polish had come off in big strips. I don't think I'll be back. read more

I had an hour to kill before my hair appointment yesterday when I realized that my manicure from earlier in the week had been wrecked by a few days of dog sitting. Studio Nails is close to where I was sitting so I stopped in to get a fresh mani for the weekend. I was surprised at how nice the salon is, I had been in there years ago before their big renovation and it used to be kinda crappy and tiny. My, how things have changed. They expanded and now have high, sweeping ceilings, and at least thirty stations for nails. My nail technician was really nice and she was a perfectionist, taking care to make sure my Kanga-Ruby was perfect and that I was happy with the shape of each nail. It took a little longer than a normal manicure but I was extremely happy with the results. At $15.98 you can't beat it for a cheap indulgence! read more

I was using L&T nails but , over the 7 years I was going there the quality went downhill while the prices went thru the roof. So I did some research and found Studio nails. Technician was warm, friendly, easy to talk to and communicate with. She did a fantastic job fixing the horrible job done by the last tech at L&T and the prices are the best I've found in this area. I love Studio Nails! I've had nothing but good experiences. Konitha is warm, friendly, and always manages to fit me in. The shellac nails are better here than anywhere I've gone. I've had them chip before, but not after Studio Nails. I have no complaints. I find it odd that someone would experience Konitha as harsh since she's been nothing but genuine, interested and friendly to me. I've been going to them for more than 6 months now. read more

Ever been accosted by a business owner? That was my experience today. After scheduling an appt earlier today for nail service, I arrived only to be met at the door by the owner, Konitha. She did not invite me in, but said she needed to speak with me. As the other patrons looked on through the glass wall and doors, she proceeded to air her grievances. She didn't like my tone when I called earlier in the week to schedule an appt and there was no availability...she said I sounded frustrated and snapped at her. After I apologized and said it had more to do with my stressful day than her, I asked why she had chosen to express herself this way. I indicated that it was offensive and unprofessional to treat a client in this manner. She went on for nearly 15 minutes about how she'd been in business for 12 years, didn't need me to tell her how to run her business and then left me standing outside. When I asked for the business' information to report the experience to the BBB, I was asked to leave. Now that's customer service. No self-respecting business treats it's clientele like this - or has employees that fight others and create scenes where the police must be called in (another recent adventure at Studio Nails). I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. I certainly will. read more

Just went there today - didn't seem particularly busy - the folks who walked in right before me got waited on immediately. No one said anything about a long delay. I sat for 20 minutes before someone finally led me to the pedicure seat. They filled the foot bath and promptly left - for another 15 minutes. By time she returned, the water had cooled, but I couldn't ask her to heat it up because her cell rang and she's talking on the phone while cutting my nails. She hung up, made another quick call before I got an opportunity to tell her about the water. She finally got down to business and prepped my one foot and THEN SHE GOT UP AND WENT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SALON TO WORK ON SOMEONE ELSES NAILS!!!! Need I tell you that at that point I got out of the chair, dried my feet and walked out. There are so many nail salons out there - pick another one - unless you don't mind being ignored! read more

My mother in law and sister in law have been coming here for years and they highly recommended . I had tried to come once before but they were booked solid and couldn't get an appointment so I ended up going somewhere else. Yesterday I was looking for a place to for a fill in and I was not going back to the place that put my last nails on, they were terrible. I live on the west side but had some errands to run over that way so I figured I'd stop in just to see and I'm so happy I did. I was instantly greeted with a smile, and by some luck managed to walk right in with no wait. I must have caught them in between appointments because someone walked in after me and they told her they wouldn't have time to get her in for a while. My nails were so bad from the last place I went we ended up taking them off and starting over. Since we were starting from scratch I decided to try the new powder dipped nails I kept hearing about. Stephanie was who ended up working with me, she was great. I had all kinds of questions and she was more than happy to explain everything with the different types of nails and polishes. My nails turned out beautiful and feel great. Overall everyone was friendly, the place was very clean, and they are doing quality work for a very reasonable price. I think I've officially found my nail salon, I will be driving from cheviot to west Chester and it's completely worth it. read more

This is my neighborhood stufio and I couldn't be happier. We had an awful rehersal dinner and ran over. Once we got to studio nails the night became relaxing and fun. The staff was fantastic and made the bridal party very happy. Most of my family had never had their nails done and they really enoyed it. read more
