I never leave bad reviews, but this place deserves the 1 star review it's been given by many people. The same person doing our pedicure was also taking phone calls for the business during our service, pulling her phone out to schedule other appointments, handling cash tips and transactions at the front desk, which each time would leave us waiting 3-5 minutes each time to come back to the service she was providing. We couldn't even have a conversation because the music was so obnoxiously loud, ontop of the woman doing our nails yelling at all of the employees. Service was incredible! My nail tech was a Sandy. Great nail work, kind and caring. As a walk with no appointment (twice), there was no time spent waiting. This has to be the worst place to get your nails done. First of all my nails look so bad and blotchy to the point where you can notice it very clearly in a photo. You will find out the cost when you check out and it will not be what is on the pricing list and you will pay it. When the employee (an older woman with curly dyed red hair) was trimming the dead skin around my nails, she also trimmed a chunk of live skin. Normally, I would write it off as a mistake but then she told me it was my fault for having to much skin and was not much gentler with the remaining nails. She used a cotton ball to soak up the blood. The polish job was about as good as my own skills on a good day (pretty bad). It was a glittery blue and she applied very thick and unevenly. I had to remind her to re-apply the base coat when she made a mistake and wiped the polish off of one of my nails. The worst manicure I've ever had. The owner of this location actually owns another up the road. Originally we used to go to that one, and then she kind of scared us off with her bold personality. Since the other location was also nearby, my mom and I decided to go there and check it out. We always like the staff and some of the people we'd liked back then moved down the road to this location. Every time I have gone, I've always been pleased. I've had manicures, pedicures, pink and white etc and have not once been disappointed. My mom likes this location as well & whenever I'm in town again it will be the place of choice for us to have a girls day. I love it because we can just walk in and the wait is never long. I always have the same lady and she is fantastic. I actually miss her when we don't go for awhile because she's just a great person in general. Finally got a price. My pedicure consisted of washing my feet and a little scrub and polish. My granddaughter got pedicure and nails polished. Five hours later her nail polish is almost gone. I took my daughters to this place today to get their fingernails done. I had them go in by themselves while my wife and I took a stroll around. One of my daughters calls to say she needed more money for "tax", so my wife goes in to pay the extra. They did a very poor job on her nails, so my wife made them redo them. After the second very poor job on my first daughter, they finally finished with my other daughter with an equally terrible job. When the second daughter was done she said that she didn't like how they were done and the owner decided that it was ok to get in her face to yell at her(she is 14) and tell her to never return to the store (which is moot because we won't). After this my wife is fuming and demanding recompense for how this woman is treating our children and the woman is going on about the extra charge is "sales tax" and begins to walk around asking every other customer if they pay Ohio sales tax and making herself look very foolish. In the end we ended up settling for $10 off each set, which I don't really think was fair. If anything I think we should have been paid for the obvious training that her employees needed. read more

I've come to you guys a few times I was decently satisfied with the actual nails. last time I was in there a couple weeks ago and older lady came in to ask about a particular color she needed for a wedding she was going to the following weekend. this lady was a little hard of hearing I could tell be use you were having a conversation with her while doing my nails. After going back and forth with her several times trying to get her to sit in a chair when she kept asking to confirm the color, you finally realized she didn't want to get her nails done that day. so she asked if you could you make her an appt for the following weekend and you totally dismissed her. you ignored her question, you didn't even bother acknowledging she was talking to you so I ended up telling her just to come back when she was ready no appt needed. what entitled rude behavior all because she didn't want her nails done that day. it was appalling to witness and I'm thankful the older lady didn't truly realize how rude you actually were. good luck staying in business treating people like that! and no worries I'll make sure I tell as many people as possible about how you treat people. kindness is free! read more

(Today is Thursday ) and my nails are not all the same shape, all are lifting because the acrylic was placed to close to my skin and there's a hair under the gel on one of my nails. I paid $80!!! Husband got a pedicure....totally worth the $40. Gal got a $10 tip. She spent 30 minutes and plenty of massage and grooming time. I got a mani pedi and was the worst I have ever had. Total of 45 minutes for both. Nothing was consistent, one foot one way the other different. Same with hands. No cuticle oil, trim, pushing back, NOTHING. No work on the two calluses or heels on feet. If you follow my reviews long enough, you'll notice that I frequent nail salons for pedicures and fill ins. I have to get my nails done regularly or I'll bite them off. It's an awful, compulsive habit. I used to only go to Lamour Nails on the west side, but due to a transfer at work I've been forced to expand my horizons. I had an early morning meeting and some errands to run. I desperately needed a fill in, but had limited time. I only had 35 minutes- tops. LT Nails is about average by way of overall appearance. One thing that I noticed was that they had some pedicure chairs on one side that had big, stuffed pink bear heads on top. I'm assuming these are for kids- the chairs were full size though so I suppose anyone could end up in one. If I had kids- which I don't- that might be a cute perk. I asked the girl doing my nails if she thought she could finish my fill by 10:55a before she started, apologizing for being one of those annoying "I'm in a hurry and should have come in sooner" girls... But she just nodded her head and went right to it. I wouldn't say she was unfriendly- I'm quiet enough myself to understand that quiet doesn't always translate to rude. But she was't chatty at all. Which is totally okay because she proceeded to give me the fastest fill I've ever had, and it looks fantastic! It was 10:22a when I went in and she was finished by 10:46a! The fill in was $30- (she didn't have to do white) which is about average I guess- a pink/white fill is typically $35 to $38 at Lamour or Ambience. I tipped her $10. They also put way to much top coat on one nail . Space is large but not set up well . I have been a customer of L T Nails for nearly five years. My nails are a nightmare to do (short nail bed & I constantly pick on them) and I have finally found a place that I can go to and trust. For the past couple of years I have had one tech that I request (Zack) and I can call ahead and I don't have a wait. The salon is large and clean and have plenty of nail techs therefor I have rarely ever seen a customer wait. I read other comments regarding the salon. At times the salon can be very busy. Friday and Saturday mornings are popular for wedding parties (which they have a private area) and during Prom/Homecoming season it can become crowded. I can see how that could be perceived as loud as the area is very large and open. I do not feel like the techs are stressed. They are actually very laid back. Some are friendlier than others and like to chat as some are a bit more focused and quiet. Lyn (owner) runs a very tight ship and is always on top of things. She always greets each customer politely with a smile. I like the fact she knows me by name and exactly what I am there for. She does walk around and check on everyone to make sure her customers are satisfied and happy. As a customer if you are for some reason unhappy with your service you need to let Lyn know asap. One of the first few times I visited the salon I was unhappy with my french manicure airbrush, I called her the next day and she had me come in and she happily fixed it, obviously no cost. I recommend L T for manicures, pink and white, pedicures as well as waxing. I have my eyebrows done however they offer licensed cosmetologist who specialize in waxing and facials. It is the ONLY place I will go and recommend to all my friends. read more

After several chances, I'm officially done with this place. It's really nice inside, but their nail quality is terrible.

I got a shellac manicure for my friend's wedding, and noticed tiny chips after the first day. There were also tons of tiny air bubbles, glitter and fuzz in the white polish. After a week, the shellac on all of my nails have peeled off around my cuticles and they are all chipping at the ends (especially on my left hand). I'm usually not one to submit complaints, but I paid $50 with tip for a manicure that barely held up for a couple of days. I've never had this happen before.. usually my shellac never chips and I only remove it after a few weeks when it's grown out too far. read more

My mom, aunt and I all went to get our nails done. We all want french manicures. My mom's and mine both turned out fine. However my aunt's turned out terrible. The "clear" was NOT clear. It was a purple color. Inside the salon it looked fine but not outside. We went back in and they just put a coat of something on top. This didn't solve the problem and after a second time of asking for it fixed (they tried to remove a portion of the polish and put a top coat on again) it still was purple and even worse than before. Terrible service. I an from out of state and for the amount of money you pay at this place the service it's not what it is worth.. We arrived there with about 11 people in our party (we had reserved a time prior). This was for a wedding. They didn't paint 4 of the girl toes nails right and had to redo one of them. The bride's cuticle got cut and started bleeding. They had to redo the flower 3 times (the end results still wasn't what she wanted) the flower on her toe look too busy. (she wanted something more elegant).. my nails were crooked (Yes! Crooked), some of the length were different because the white plastic she glued on was put on at different spots of my finger nail. So if she filed them down to feel the same the top white part would have different thicknesses... So sad. I spent $90. Ridiculous... read more
