I try to stop in several times a year to see what's new, when I need a special outfit or a gift for a friend. This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. They have several locations (downtown, SE Clinton) and it's worth visiting them all!

Kayla, the young woman working that day, was super helpful and pleasant. She easily engages in conversation and provides assistance, if that is your mode of shopping. We visited on MLK Day and were there specifically to see what Oliveve handbags were available since I had recently come across this brand while shopping at the House of Lolo in Palm Desert. Kayla immediately recognized my Jasper bag! The Oliveve bags have a modern design, clean lines, and my bag is made of neutral colored pebbled leather. It's the perfect bag to use while shopping as it is a cross body style yet as large as a tote and holds a lot. That day there was only one Olivevebag available, a black handbag with tan wrapped handles, and my friend immediately claimed it! I'll have to go online (Oliveve.com) to buy my next one, the black oiled Italian leather Eva bag, which I've had my eye on for a few months.
