This place is such a delight. It has some of the best poke I have tasted. This place also has a drink called "Hawaiian Sun" and I swear it's so addicting. I keep coming back here when I don't feel like venturing outside the city of Orange. Especially when it's on the same street as 85 Degrees bakery and all the feed stores I visit. Other poke places in the same city either have poor quality fish or not enough "bang for the buck". I did notice, however, the last time I went, the price had went up a bit. Finally a Poki place I can bring my boyfriend as he is the pickiest when it comes to poki. The fish is fresh and there is many choices of seafood you can add to your bowl. It is a great take-out location as there isn't much seating for dining in, and with the few seats there are, I wouldn't feel comfortable dining at this tiny location. I got the Regular bowl with salmon, and for the sauce, I was unfamiliar with their spicy sauce they use, but they gave me a sample to try without hesitation! I ended up getting the sesame shoyu mixed with the spicy sauce as it creates a nice flavor and I found out it was their favorite combination too! Also they have a punch card so if you buy a certain amount of poki bowls you get a discount or a free one? Drove by and saw they are now open. Ordered two regular polo bowls and they are bigger than north shore in HB. The concept is about the same as polo monster, but I think they are more generous on the toppings. The location is tiny, so I strongly recommend making your order to go unless no one's at the table. You are basically given the option to build your own bowl so the possibilities are endless. I thought the scoop option was how much rice you wanted but it's actually the protein you want. Loved the spicy tuna, octopus but next time I'll politely skip on the albacore tuna. My first time trying poke bowl, it has everything I wish to have in a sushi roll, but is served in a bowl. Kinda like burrito bowl in chipotle.
