This place is kind of a weird poke spot. They are trying to do poke and sushi rolls. It is usually pretty loud inside, and the way they have the order counter up high with a glass window to protect the food, it is hard to hear. The poke here is pretty good, and I like that you can get both crab and spicy crab in your bowl. I usually get all salmon. The toppings are good and the prices are what your average are at a poke place. I have never tried their sushi rolls. They have a small section of seating, including two rooms with doors... The location is sorta hidden but the inside is perfect to dine in, don't let the exterior fool you. oh & price wise it's cheaper than most places I've looked at so there's a plus! update: it was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I have come here a few times over the years. They are open during COVID and I've gotten takeout and Postmates. With Postmates though, they have always done my orders slightly wrong. For example, I wanted half-half with the poke that I ordered today but they only gave me white rice. With in-person orders, it's hard to get it wrong because you can correct any mistakes that are made. The order did come in quick but I'd rather it come later with my correct order. The poke is good though. Is it the best? No, but it does satisfy the poke cravings I've been having. read more

This is by far the best poki stop I've made recently. The bowl is delicious. They are extremely generous with their portion. They staff was super sweet, the inside is super clean looking. The workers behind the counters will be able to assist you in choosing which dish, out of the many that they have, will best fit your taste. They offer a variety of protein for poke bowls and a good variation of toppings to go with it. With top-notch quality fish, the poke bowl tasted as good as I had hoped for. We also received complimentary soups which came out nice and warm for us. Even though it was free, they didn't skip any steps in making sure that it was still delicious. The venue itself was beautiful and spacious. Yes, the location is a corner restaurant with a hole in the wall entrance, but don't let that fool you. Upon entering, you notice a large seating area with many "reservation rooms" that offers more space. Parking was abundant and had many spots open right next to this joint. One of my favorite local poke spots. The staff is super nice and there's a ton of food options. They even have study rooms for groups since it's close to Cypress College. They sell poke bowls, sushi rolls, chicken/beef, and udon. They have a wide variety of toppings. One thing I definitely haven't seen at any other poke place is that they have 4 types of Masago!!! (orange, green, red, & black). I think one of the flavors was wasabi. I love having that option. They also have a points reward program if you're a frequent customer. Free miso soup if you dine in. If I order a large bowl it's because I want to be full and content. They're large bulgoki isn't worth the large that they charge. I needed to cook more rice to compensate for the lack of food. I seriously couldn't enjoy my meal only because I knew I would finish it in 5 bites. My buddy found this place through Yelp it was a centralized location for us to meet up at. This place is located in a mini plaza not too much parking the place is in the corner you see the sign but the entrance is more further inward. It's not a big place but they were accommodating to us my buddy called to reserve a table being such a small place they don't take reservations but they did reserve a room for our party there are two rooms for karaoke it looks like cause there are tv monitors speakers and a box that looks like you have to feed it bills but I don't know we didn't ask we just came to eat and catch up. So it's easy to order you go to the counter start your order with a Poki bowl or sushi roll or both then you select all your stuff at each station once you're done and paid they bring the food to you. The staff is really nice they always come and check on you and are very friendly. The food is excellent I will go back again. read more

They were also knowledgeable which is helpful if you're like me and have only had poke 3 times and have a boyfriend who usually orders your food for you. The restaurant layout is clean, orderly, and cute. The food though! I honestly would've paid much more for what I got. I ordered the udon combo and got a Philadelphia roll. I know it's a simple roll but it tasted better than a lot of philly rolls I've had at actual sushi restaurants. The soup was perfect and we also had garlic edamame which was really well done. Most small places just pour some kind of garlic seasoning over plain edamame but this was covered in a delicious garlicky mixture that I would've expected from a higher end restaurant. The gyoza we ordered was very tasty and so was the miso soup. And the food was so well priced! I've never paid so little so for such a good amount of food in such varied dishes, let alone have every single one taste so yummy! I will definitely be returning. read more

This place is lit A. F. Pricing for bowls are all fair. They even offer combos that could include a poke bowl and a roll of your choice! The amount they give is decent too! They don't lowball you on how much they give and expect cold, fresh fish! The ambience of the restaurant is like a college town coffee shop, but with POKE!! AAAHHHHHHH Service is excellent here! I tried this place today, and the experience was amazing. This place has friendly atmosphere. The interior helps you stay comfortable. Its like a japanese subway, you pick the size of the bowl and you pick what will go on your bowl. They made it so that it was easy to understand and order for me. Food was great. Fish was fresh and the saucings and toppings made my food very delicious. They were also full of flavors. I dont know if the miso soup was complementary, but they gave me a bowl of miso soup, and it made a great combination with my poke bowl. Friendly Environment, Great food. I used to love going here with my girlfriend after our classes for lunch. It's been awhile since I came back here, so today I went in around 3:50pm after class on a completely empty stomach and I got a large poki bowl to-go. I had asked for 3 scoops of salmon 1 tuna and 1 yellowtail, and the worker (who I believe is the owner) gave me 2 scoops of salmon and it seemed that he ran out of salmon to give me so instead of ASKING me if i was okay with spicy salmon, he just dumped it into my bowl. I would've been alright with it, as long as he at least asked me first. Keep in mind I'm hungry as hell so I was a bit cranky at this point. Anyways, we go through the rest of the line and I keep having to repeat what I say because someone behind the counter kept trying to talk to him and he kept asking me what I wanted, even though I was repeatedly telling him while I was getting interrupted by whoever else was trying to get his attention. After all that, I pay and go home. Once I get home and I pop open my bowl, I see what appears to be a little bug, walking around all over my rice and fish. (I wish i had taken a picture before i threw it away). Needless to say I was frustrated and because of the fact that I paid for this, I took the bug out and ate a little bit of it anyways until I couldn't bear with the fact any longer that some insect had crawled on it, and then I threw the rest of it out. And it's in the same plaza as The Crab Shack which was our other choice. But the sound of poke and sushi is very refreshing! And it was!!!! Poke was flavorful with varieties of toppings for a good price. California roll was also tasty, juicy, and soft rice. The place is cozy.
