I've tried many many Poke places and this one is definitely my favorite Poke place! The ingredients are super fresh and simply delicious!

Just enjoyed my first visit here! Ordered a size regular with brown rice, shrimp, yellowtail, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, crunchy garlic and tempura, spicy mayo, cucumbers, avocado and roasted sesame seeds. All for a total of $9.99. This was a substantial amount of food for lunch and very fresh and flavorful. I was satisfied and will be back. I recommend this place for a fast pick up and take away. They offer a lot more toppings--this is what I built for my poke bowl. Worth a try if you're wanting fresh poke! read more

Great poke and I absolutely love the decor! Nice people to greet you and the fish is always fresh! There is lots of parking and the seating is decent! Good amount of choices to add to the poke bowls! Price is a little on the expensive side compared to other poke places! Ideally more drink options if possible. read more

Love this Poke place! Giant portions, fresh seafood, lots of toppings, friendly staff, priced right...I can't wait until they open closer to my home. Amazing flavor. Amazing choices. Mine is brown rice / salad with salmon, shrimp, imitation crab, fish egg, seaweed salad, cucumber, scallions, mild sauce. So simple, so fast. What to say? First off this is a WAY better use for this space than the froyo place that was here before. The regular bowl is really big and I'm definitely gonna have to take half of it home .. curious how big a large is! Their fish is fresh and delicious and so is all the veggies and everything else. It's nice and cool inside for the hot summer days with sweet island music playing and a very friendly staff. Definitely about to get a macaron ice cream sandwich too.. yummmm!!! read more

Some really solid poke, and the portions are pretty good! The fish was pretty good, the rice seemed a little hard though. I do wish they had some sort of soy based sauce as most other places do, bowl was a tad dry. Staff was really friendly, we had a large group and they didn't seem to be bothered by it. read more

I think I died and went to heaven last night !!!! Omg! Where have I been ? What has taken me so long to try something sooooo amazing ! Being a sushi lover I knew that I would like something like this but WOW it's like a sushi bowl explosion ! Wonderful ! Fish was fresh and melted in your mouth! I was a little confused at first how to order but the menu and staff are helpful and you can basically get whatever you want in your bowl. I ordered a regular size and it was a little to much but you get 3 different options of fish . Price was perfect though. I will soooo be back ! Can't wait to try other mixtures . This time though I got white rice , albacore , ahi and salmon a little spicy with almost everything on it but no corn and it was amazing . The masago is the best . read more

I LOVE this place. The fish is always fresh and so satisfying. The bowl is filled to the brim with all of their flavorful toppings. I don't make it here as often as I would like because I don't live nearby. But when I have to run errands at kohls or walmart, I always make sure I'm hungry for poki poki. Fish is fresh and portions are plentiful. The dish itself is gorgeous (wish I'd snapped a pic) Recommend getting half salad half rice. We describe this dish as sushi rice bowl- but sometimes has the feel of a poki"slaw". We've been here twice in the last two weeks and it is filling (although not super cheap). The guys who work here are really nice but our second time we got someone who mumbled to us and then talked to his coworkers the entire time we were ordering (which was sort of rude). I love poke! But this place is not good, the quality of the food is not there! From the chewy octopus, the rice balls and the flavorless spicy tuna!! I was so dissapointed with the quality, they give you a good portion but it was not tasty. Pretty solid place for poke. The amount of food given and the options are great. The first time I got the 3 scoops of fish, the second time I got 4. Honestly, 3 was plenty without feeling stuffed. Loved it! Satisfied my craving. My husband complained that it was not enough fish in the serving (we ordered the large which is four scoops of meat). I did notice that they give you a full scoop of spicy tuna but only a few pieces of the cubed tuna. I would still go back to this place. My kids love the macaron ice cream. Love this place! Great place for a good low-carb meal. The fish was very fresh. You can ask for up to four scoops of fish, and you can make each scoop a different fish. You can select from an amazing variety of items for your bowl. The seaweed was very firm and good. The toasted garlic topped it off. Delicious! Fast friendly service. Food was awesome and the fish very fresh and the staff was friendly and the service fast. Nice healthy alternative to the usual fast food places. Only 4 stars versus five because the price is a little high at almost 12. The spicy sauce is fairly spicy, and I enjoy a good kick. read more

Got the large bowl with spring salad base, 4 scoops of yellowtail, salmon, ahi and octopus (1 ea) with spicy sauce and everything on top except avocado - it was AWESOME!!! So happy this establishment came to Oceanside! From the variety of fresh fish and amount of different toppings to choose from poki poki has definitely became one of my go to spots! I would like to change my review. I may or may not have been "hangry" when writing my last review. Being that I am a vegetarian, I never would expect anyone to change their menu for me. However sometimes us (often hated) vegetarians have to accompany friends, family, spouse, associates, etc to a meal. Hence the reason I was at a poki restaurant in the first place. My previous review was just simply stating that as a paying customer, a simple veggie option would be nice. I know I know, how dare a loser vegetarian make such an outrageous demand in a poki joint. Mind you, just about EVERY sushi restaurant I've ever stepped foot in has several tasty option for the non meat eater. My wife the fish eater, liked this place, all though she did say the portions were rather small for the price compared to other poki places she frequents . Anyway didn't mean to give such a negative first review. The staff responded in such a positive and professional way (even though that was much different the the response I got in the restaurant) I feel inclined to write a more friendlier review.
