I really do love this place. What a smart idea! Choose what size bowl you want. Choose what starch you want. Choose what protein you would like. Choose your sauce. Choose your toppings. Easy! I usually always either go with Ahi and Hamachi but sometimes they run out of Hamachi, so I go with Ahi and salmon. Fish is so fresh! They mix what sauce you choose with the protein right then and there. They have a bunch of toppings to choose from. A little overwhelming but so good! Quick service, very efficient, and nice two that always are working!
This place is one of my go-tos in downtown when I feel like grabbing something affordable and healthy. The workers are very friendly and always stuff your bowl. Their fish aren't the greatest quality, but considering how affordable it is and how much toppings they give you, I definitely think it's a good place for lunch.
My lunch mates and I ended up at the Pauahi Tower location after striking out at a place across the street. Hmmm, what to choose? It was the large bowl for me, with a combination of multi-grain rice and spring mix greens with spicy ahi, hamachi and ahi. My sauces were the wasabi aioli and the yuzu wasabi. My toppings were edamame, ocean salad and masago. Whoa, the bowl weighed almost two pounds! It was simply delicious and way too much food for lunch. I ended up taking half home for dinner. It used to be $12.95 but it's now $16.95. Even so, it remains a deal as it ended up being two meals for me.
This has become one of my favorite places to grab a poke bowl in downtown Honolulu. Good quality ahi and salmon, love the flavor options and add-ons on top of sushi, plain or brown rice and/or greens. Friendly staff in this grab-and-go restaurant located at Bishop Square on the mall level of Pauahi Tower. There are a couple of tables if you want to dine in. Go get some!
I'm not sure if I was discriminated or they just didn't like me for some reason but they were giving me attitude for no reason and I feel like their attitudes affected my portion size today. As I was checking out and the lady was almost pressuring me to tip her on the tip menu and as I pressed none I believe she said something bad about me in her language to her coworker. KEEP IN MIND that this was my FIRST time here and last time as I was told by many people that this place gives you a packed bowl and as seen on yelp pictures you can see the bowls filled to the top. If this was based off discrimination I am honestly ashamed of this place that discrimination still exists. UPDATE: my cashiers name on my receipt is Vivid A if that's any help to anyone!
Tried their new location next to Square barrels in Bishop Square. It's still as good as I remember and affordable. The smallest sized bowl comes with one protein choice served over rice and/or salad, plus three toppings. I got their multigrain purple rice with romaine lettuce. For protein I chose ahi (which is cubed pieces vs "spicy ahi" which is tartare style). They mixed it with my sauce and then I chose tamago, beets, and masago for my toppings. The protein portion is a little small but on par with other build your own poke bowls that use the oz scoopers. Pokeway however is extremely generous with the toppings and rice/salad so it's more filling compared to other spots. I'd definitely come here a lot for lunch if I worked downtown.
I really like that you can make your own poke bowl here and it ended up being very tasty. Service was quick too! I especially liked the sushi rice and garlic chips. The spicy ahi flavoring was really good too- not too spicy for my taste. The cons were that they couldn't work the gift card that the restaurant actually gave gratis during a prior Yelp event, which was disappointing. I was only told to use it later bc the cashier didn't know what to do. Also, the poke was like small mushed up bits, instead of chunks like you'd usually expect from a poke place. With the price increase to nearly $11 for a tiny bit of fish, I'd expect a bit nicer fish quality.
This Is The Poke Way! Pokeway really does Poke the right way. It uses only fresh fish, never frozen, and mixes it with sauce when ordered. That really preserves the quality and freshness of the raw fish. This place is located in Bishop Square, across from Square Barrels. There's NO sign at all outside, but a big, yellow one inside. You just need to stand in front of the door to see it. I've been here twice. My first visit wasn't so pleasant, but the second evened out. There's usually a line out the door because this is just a two person operation. I believe one is the owner, and the other is the mom or aunty or somebody. The process is simple: choose a size (Small, Medium, or Large), select rice and/or salad, pick your proteins (1-3), pick your toppings (3 max, 99 cents for additional), and finally choose your garnishes (sesame seeds, fried garlic, fried onion, and etc.). Price ranges from $9.95-$13.95. Two dollar difference between sizes. I still had my Pokeway $5 gift card from a few years ago at a Yelp Event for Pokeway when there was one outside of Don Quijote. Since that one closed, I had no opportunity to use it until now. On my first visit, I ordered my food, and everything went smoothly until I reached the register. I busted out my gift card, and the old lady was rude and just said "I don't know!" I tried to tell her it's a gift card for here, and if I can use it. Then she says, "next time!" and then just turns away to help the customers behind me. Wow, okay. I was so confused. For a second, I thought about just leaving the poke bowl there and coming back "next time" so I can use the gift card, but I still needed lunch. I paid, and never an offer for my receipt or a thank you. She did come back to see if I paid, but immediately turned away again. Ugh, whatever. I got half sushi rice and half spring mix as my base with Spicy Ahi, Hamachi with Korean Temper Sauce, and Salmon with Dynamite topped with Masago, Ocean Salad, and Crab Salad. Yes, I was feeling spicy. First off, getting both rice and salad doesn't work so well as all the fish is on top of the salad, and you can't even get down into the rice without spilling over. You need to eat some first to make a path. The ahi and salmon were both fresh and very good, and well-portioned. Nothing was really spicy. The Korean temper was more on the sour side, and the dynamite was Mayo-ey, but acceptable. I enjoyed the toppings, but it was a little scant. One bite, gone. The thing that was really off was the sushi rice. It was poorly prepared. It was dry and clumpy. Now that I learned my lesson the first time around. The second time, I just ordered the Spring Mix as my base, and only two items. The large was too much food. This time it was Ahi with Spicy Mayo and Salmon with Wasabi Yuzu topped with the same trio as before but with Spicy Crab Salad instead. The fish were both fresh and well prepared. The Spicy Mayo was good, but the Wasabi Yuzu was too watery. It wasn't as much as last time, but the toppings were a lot. My first time, it was the guy preparing the base and protein while the old lady was doing the toppings. Second time, they switched, i.e, the guy is a lot more generous with the portions! Overall, there were some items that weren't good, and some that were good, so you need to do some trial and error to figure out what's good, but the most important thing is the fish is fresh and well prepared, and just hope it's only the guy doing everything because he will pack your bowl up!! It's not a bad deal at $9.95-$13.95 for a Poke bowl with so many things. In case you were wondering, I did use the gift card because the guy knew. Thank goodness they switched because I honestly wouldn't have accepted another "I don't know. Next time" answer from the old lady. I'll definitely come back for the salmon and hamachi. It's nothing extraordinary, but it's a decent price and well portioned.

Super fast fresh place close to work downtown! They offer all kinds of rice and lettuce bases. They have sushi rice, may favorite, the protein and sauce, and three toppings included in the price. The place is very clean and very easy to order. There's always a line for this place at lunch. I love poke bowls and the toppings that come with it, each topping is $.99 after the standard 3 included. I got the sushi rice, ahi cubes with spicy mayo (I like the big cubes better than when it's premixed and shredded), cucumber, crab, and edamame with toasted sesame seeds. Dry toppings are unlimited. Miso soup is an add-on that is super cheap and drinks are really cheap with your meal too. They have prepackaged wasabi/soy by the napkins to-go bags and utensils. There are interior seats available too. Good food and good portions! I love when I can get full on good food for under $10! read more
I love this place! The pricing is reasonable and their add ones are awesome. I normally get spicy tuna and half brown rice half salad for my base. They have edamame, ocean salad, crab salad, daikon and more. The poke is fresh and you can choose from a variety of fish ahi, hamachi, etc, and kalua pig is coming soon. I go here for lunch pretty often and usually the line is out the door but it goes quick. Sometimes there's no line and it can take less than 5 minutes! I've always wanted to try their Ume iced tea (3.99) but haven't yet. I love going back and trying different toppings. read more

Stumbled upon this place on bishop street during lunch. You get to build your own bowl, which is nice. I was a little overwhelmed since it's my first time there... lots of choices. I ordered a medium bowl which comes with 2 choices of protein. I picked ahi and calamari salad. For the ahi, I picked yuzu wasabi sauce. The yuzu wasabi sauce was not a good pick... not much taste to it. I ended up dipping the ahi in wasabi. For sides, I picked tobiko, edamame and crab salad. All on a bed of romain lettuce topped with furikake. read more
Pokeway is located at 1132 Bishop Street. A lot of people know this as the building with Aloha Sushi or 1132 Cafe. Pokeway is tucked away in the middle of those two eateries. The concept here is super easy. You just have to follow 5 easy steps: Step 1: Pick your size (S/M/L) Step 2: The base (rice, salad, mix) Step 3: The Protein (ahi, salmon, hamachi, spicy tuna, tako, tofu, shrimp) Step 4: The Sauce (shoyu, korean, wasabi aioli, dynamite, sesame, yuzu wasabi, peanut butter, spicy tuna) Step 5: The Toppings (too many to list) So far my favorite way to order is a Medium (2 scoops of poke), all salad, hamachi & ahi, with either wasabi aioli or sesame sauce. The toppings and salad toppers I like to change up often. Overall I love coming here for lunch. They are quick and always have fresh fish. read more
Pokeway popped up on my Yelp feed a while back & I've been visiting for a bit so I thought it's time for a review. The friendly owner informed me that his father has a fishing boat & his business partner has a fish shop so he has access to fresh fish daily. The order process is pretty standard as with most customizable poke bowl places: - choose bowl size (small=one scoop fish choice, medium =2 scoops & 3 scoops = large) - choose base of rice (white or brown) or salad (spring mix, romaine lettuce or spinach) -choose fish (ahi, spicy ahi, salmon, hamachi) -choose sauce for fish (yuzu wasabi, shoyu, wasabi aioli, etc.) -choose 3 free toppings (I usually get the crab salad, edamame & masago) -choose additional finishes (sesame seeds, tempura chips, garlic chips, etc.) Salad isn't dressed but they have additional sauces at a counter that you can choose as a dressing. There's usually enough flavor from the sauce that's mixed with the fish that I don't use dressing. Fish is very fresh & cubes are cut nicely. Your bowl is served in a reusable container too. just a small place under a great building. cannot dine in, you have to find seats outside. taste is just mediocre and sauce is not that special. i will say a bit expensive for quantity and quality like that. read more
Located in 1132 Bishop Street across the deli/café of the same name, Pokeway serves fresh poke in a bowl with salad and/or rice. And, for non-raw fish eaters like me, there is cubed tofu. I'm enamored of the made-to-order approach where you can watch as the "pokemaster" builds your bowl while you pick from a selection of fresh ingredient and dried seasoning toppings. Having been here a few times, I always go with the small bowl, brown rice, mixed greens, tofu with yuzu wasabi sauce, the imitation crab salad mix, edamame, corn, then furikake, fried garlic and fried onions. These flavors work for me, though I never finish the rice part which is at the bottom of the bowl, cause it is so filling. Having learned from Travis N.'s experience, I also fill a small ketchup-size takeout container with additional sauces -- wasabi and a sesame one -- since he claimed the poke was never saucy enough. The only sauce not available for the take out is the yuzu wasabi. Dunno why... but that's okay cause I'll take the 20% discount for checking in on yelp over the extra sauce! read more

The concept is very much like Subway its a "Poke bar" concept. I would not recommend coming here if you dont work downtown as parking is hard to find and probably not worth it unless you already work downtown. 1. Choose your Size: Small (1 scoop) $8.95, MED (2 scoop) 10.95 or LRG (3 scoop) $12.95 2. Then choose, white, multi, brown rice and Salad OR all salad 3. Protein: Ahi (tuna) , salmon, hamachi, spicy tuna, tako, tofu or shrimp 4. Sauce: shoyu, spicy korean, wasabi aioli, dynamite, sesame, yuzu wasabi, peanut butter or spicy tuna 5. Select the type of lettuce you want, toppings and salad toppers **this may sound like a lot of hard decisions, but truly its not that stressful! I got the Small Spicy tuna over multigrain rice and salad with Crab salad, ocean salad and cucumbers and it was delicious! The portion was perfect for me and it was very filling and tasty! the fish was fresh and the 2 guys at the counter were really nice and answered all of my questions. If you're downtown for lunch, Pokeway is a no brainer. You've probably already heard of the place, or have at least seen the line snaking out the doors, and rightfully so. Pokeway offers heaping customizable poke bowls. Pick your size, your protein, and 3 add-ons or more. There's no dine-in, but service is quick and easy. Staff have always been friendly and efficient, and don't scrimp on the toppings. The choices have always been fresh in my experience, too. When I buy food here, I know I'm getting my money's worth, and it's an easy choice for takeout, especially now with restrictions. read more
My new favorite poke bowl spot! The fish and produce is fresh and there's literally tons of different combos and flavors you can make. And this condiment queen LOVES that you can mix and match your own sauces. Seriously great stuff here!! The flavors are so rocking together. I really really enjoyed my bowl. I appreciate how they have so many options and some unusual things to offer. For example. Peanut butter sauce. It's almost like a rich sesame tahini. No Jiff/ Peter Pan here! They also offer mixed grain rice, which has black/ wild rice, brown rice and quinoa in it. SO good!! Trust me and break the chains of normal rice and try it! The bowl is a generous size and portion. The medium 2 scoop bowl was 2 meals for me. The people working there were very on top of the customer service game. I wasn't paying attention and I thought he put the spicy ahi sauce on my salmon and he said, "if that's not what you want, let me know and I'll make you a fresh batch". He genuinely seemed like he wanted me to enjoy and not bothered to fix it at all. Luckily, I did order the spicy ahi (note this one is minced ahi, whereas the other regular ahi poke is cubed cut). I added the seaweed salad (so tasty!) and crab salad (I also recommend!) and cucumbers. I had the sauce for the salmon added on the side. The fish was definitely fresh! The entrance to this place is either on Fort Street side (big brown bldg directly across from Subway on Fort Street) or the Bishop street side. Very clean inside and outside at the tables. Yelp check in offer is 20% off! I want to try more combos and I need that mixed grain rice. Soooooo good!!!! read more
We first stumbled upon Pokeway cutting through the 1132 Bishop Street building so we decided to check this place out. Pokeway's address is located at the 1132 Bishop Street Tower, (however the entrances are on Fort Street Mall if you are on the Ewa side of the building close to Pauahi Street or on Union Mall on the Diamond Head side). They are located on the Makai side, street level lobby area in the vicinity of other eateries 1132 Cafe and the Aloha Sushi minimart. The place is small, clean, however, the poke is fresh, brought in daily. They have a nice selection of Ahi, Salmon, Hamachi and Taco to name a few. You can order your poke a variety of different ways: over multigrain rice, white rice or brown rice or over a nice array of salads such as spinach, spring mix and romaine lettuce. Next, they have several choices of sauces such as spicy tuna, wasabi aioli, dynamite, yuzu wasabi, spicy Korean, peanut butter, shoyu and sesame. Your dish comes with your choice of toppings: onions, jalapeños, Japanese cucumbers, sweet corn, edamame, green onions, ginger, ocean salad, crab salad or masago eggs. Lastly, to top it off your dish includes toppers such as masago, sesame seeds, tempura chips and furikake to name a few. The staff here are friendly and accommodating to your custom order. There are several tables in the lobby area. The area is spacious, clean and "more importantly" air conditioned! LOL If you work in downtown Honolulu then great, it's a nice walk! If you do not, there are street metered parking close by or the city municipal lots. I probably wouldn't recommend parking in the building unless you are doing business here as everyone knows downtown parking is expensive. What to get for lunch? That's always the question. As I did my walk through Bishop Square I came across this place. Seen it at several locations before but never tried it. So in line I stood. First you pick your rice (reg, brown, black, sushi) or you can have salad (spinach, romaine, mix) or Both! I went for both. Now pick a protein - ahi, salmon, hamachi, kalua...etc. You are able to pick more than one which the cost goes up a little. Sauce? Spicy mayo, sesame, really hot stuff, etc. Then all kinds of toppings..I selected just a few...green onion, takuwan and edamame. Now for the taste test. I was pleasantly surprised how fresh everything tasted. I really enjoyed this bowl although the spicy mayo was a bit too spicy for me. I'm a wimp! New location at Bishop Square, nice and bright with some tables to sit, sauces to take out, etc. I think I'll go back and try a different sauce next time. This place is bomb! This place is better than Ahi Vegi. Yup, I said it. The subway of poke bowls. Choose your base rice, salad or half and half. Choose your protein and sauce. Then pick 3 sides then top it off with some garlic and furikake. I went with sushi rice with spicy ahi and hamachi in their yuzu wasabi sauce. Added some crab salad, tamago, and masago. That was a lot of food. The fish is fresh and that yuzu wasabi sauce was bomb. If you're in downtown, definitely try this place out! read more

If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm a raging cheap stake on lunch in Downtown Honolulu. I don't even bother walking in to a place where the menu starts at $8.5. So, what the heck am I doing at Pokeway? Well friends, that's because of a 20% off check in coupon and only needing to buy lunch once during the work week. Take my lunch money Pokeway! Pokeway is in the 1132 Bishop street building (the one with the black glass on Bishop) on the entry floor. There are three size choices dictating how many scoops of poke you get; $8.95 one scoop small, $10.95 two scoop medium, and $12.95 three scoop large. That's followed by a base of combinations of various salad and various types of rice. Poke choices include tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, octopus, yellow tail, tofu and shrimp with eight choices of sauces. Medium and large options can try more than one poke type. If you're a high maintenance kind of person (just own it), ask for each scoop to get its own separate sauce. Three choices of toppings (extra for delicious avocado, that's why we Millennials are broke AF) for the poke and additional for toppings for salad. Salad dressing is self-serve with 5-6 options. I got the medium size, baby spring mix salad rice combination with yellowtail and tuna sauced in shoyu topped with crab salad, masago and sea salad, and then topped with furikake and tempura balls. The fish was lightly sauced, firm and delicious. They say it's fresh, but can't quite be certain, but it's still totally better than competitors *cough* Ahi vegetable *cough* around downtown. Crab salad was more crab than mayo, masago was crisp, and the sea salad was one of the best I've had. Rice wasn't sushi rice, but decent quality. Pokeway is well lit and clean with a self-serve station for utensils, the various salad dressing, napkins and bags. It's a bit out of my regular price range for lunch, but it makes for a nice occasional treat. I was full on two scoops, but your mileage will vary. The staff was professional and quick. As always, parking in downtown is a mess, but this is a lunch only place anyways. There are also tables in the AC lobby right outside to enjoy your poke on. read more

5 stars for creativity and the fact that you are able to customize your bowl to your liking was a fantastic idea. However the difficulty to park just for this hole in the wall place is not worth it. We parked in the bishop building and we didn't stay there for more than 20mins and the fee was $9!!! Ridiculous! Also if you checked in with YELP you will receive a 20% off your bill. So I did that and showed the worker my coupon from Yelp and she DIDN'T APPLY MY DISCOUNT. what a bust! Also the portion was just too little like barely any rice and they try to make it up with loading it with lots of lettuce... The food however was pretty good I loved the sauces they allow you to place onto your bowl. This shop caters to the building and office workers not much to the public if you are looking to do a atop here. Not to sure if I will be returning here. Hopefully they open another location. Like I said the experience was a bust but the food was really Good! read more

Found it by accident and now one of my favorite place! For such a reasonable price, you get to create your own poke bowl and the portion is very generous! The 2 gentlemen that was working there was very friendly and so much fun creating your own! When I'm in downtown, I will definitely go back for more! read more
Pokeway 4 stars for friendly service and a fresh poke experience! Read below for a detailed review of each component. I ordered the medium bowl, which comes with 2 scoops of poke. I ordered it with multi-grain rice and spinach for my salad. I got one scoop of salmon and one scoop of hamachi. I went with yuzu wasabi for my sauce. For my toppings (you can choose up to 3), I added on green onion, Japanese cucumber and crab salad. Lastly I finished with a salad topping of crispy onions. Multi-grain rice & spinach: Their multi-grain rice is the standard black/purple colored rice that other poke places have. Very tasty and filling. I decided to go with the spinach because it has a lot of iron and it looked really fresh (and it was). Salmon & hamachi: If you've ever happened to read any of my other reviews where fish is involved, then you know how much I love salmon. This place did not disappoint! Both the salmon and hamachi were very fresh-tasting. None of that fishy taste/smell. Clearly they use quality fish here! Yuzu wasabi: I like citrus and I like a little heat, so when I saw this sauce option I had to give it a try. I would definitely get this again! I will say that I mostly tasted the yuzu and not too much of the wasabi, but regardless, the sauce was definitely the right compliment to the fresh fish. Toppings: The green onions and Japanese cucumbers were as you would expect. The crab salad was delish! I was a little bummed that they didn't have edamame, and nothing posted to indicate they were out. The fried onions were good too but I originally wanted fried garlic, which they also didn't have and again no posting. Service: There was a man working and a lady helping him. I'm guessing the man is the owner and the lady was a helper because he seemed to be training her while also servicing customers at the same time. I didn't really interact with her but the man was very friendly. He did a great job of balancing between training his helper and working the line. He was very pleasant, apologizing for the wait and thanking customers for their patience. Great job! Ambiance: This place is really just meant to order and go. It's very clean and well-lit. There are open seating tables (shared space with another eatery) where people can sit and eat. Overall experience: I enjoyed the food and their service. However, I will admit that the fact that they were out of several items that I wanted to order without any note or posting that they were out did have a slightly negative impact on my experience. Very nice execution for the business district. Easy, fast, simple and customizable for picky eaters. Fish quality was good and even though it's not what I would describe as cheap, it is very reasonable for town. Braddahs and sistahs! They get HAMACHI! Plain and simple, we eat a lot of Poke. Pokeway is by far the Best! We went on a whim as we just finished an appointment downtown. Pokeway is a little difficult to find as it is located inside the 1132 Bishop building. When it comes to food, my sense of direction becomes very keen... glad we made it! It was about 11:45am, and my son got the last portion of salmon. We both ordered the Large bowls which give you choice of rice, lettuce, 3 scoops of poke/fish choices and 3 sides. So what makes Pokeway better than all the rest? It's their quality of fish and the yummy sauces. You have a choice of what sauce they mix with your choice of fish. Also, their fish is cut in delicate pieces, the best quality pieces. Don't know how the average person likes their fish, but nothing turns me off more than a huge chunk with strings in it! So after today's visit, I am in love with their sesame sauce and the spicy. Sooo yummy and addicting. The sides are also generous and perfectly compliment the fish too. Crab salad is basic, but great along with the Ocean salad! If you love poke, you got to try Pokeway. read more
Same owner different menu. Formally known as O'bop!.dmall shop with friendly staff and owner. Located on the ground floor of 1132 Bishop street. It's a create your own poke bowl with lots of toppings you can choose from. The quality of the fish is top notch; very fresh. Talking to the owner that the fish are bought from the auction or caught at sea everyday, so you know it is fresh. When I come here, I always get the multi grain rice with half ahi and tako, yes they also have tako, shoyu mixed. You can expect the price to be a little pricey for even a small bowl, about $9. But if you check in on yelp, you get 20% off; good deal. Tho the cost is worth it. If you are nearby or work in downtown, come by and try them out. I've been passing this poke place as I head off on my daily lunch hunt and finally decided to brave the line and try their poke. I figured that it must be pretty good if people are willing to wait in line. There were about 5 or 6 people in front of us, and I was at the front of the line within 5 minutes. The first person which I'm guessing is the owner asks you what size bowl (small, medium or large) that you want and asks for your base (salad and rice, all salad or all rice). I got the multi-grain rice for my base. He then asks you which protein you want in your bowl. I went with the hamachi and salmon. Then, he asks you which sauce you want. I went with the dynamite. Then, he passes tour bowl off to another person along the counter and she mixes the fish with the sauce and places it on top of the base. She then asks you to pick 3 toppings. I couldn't choose just 3, so I got 4 (it's 99 cents extra per topping). I got cucumbers, ogo, crab salad and green onions. She then passes your bowl to the cashier, and she asks you if you want any additional (free) toppings. So I added furikake and garlic chips. I also got the miso soup for an additional 99 cents. When you get your chopsticks and napkins, there are bottles of the sauces next to the chopsticks, and small sauce containers (in case you want more sauce or want to taste the other sauces). I mixed together all the ingredients in my bowl and enjoyed a healthy and filling lunch. I wish that they would give a little more fish, but I'm guessing their rent is high so they need to carefully portion their ingredients. Overall, I thought that the ordering process was quite efficient and the product was comparable or better than the other poke places in downtown. I'll be back! read more
Sampled this spot last week. As a fan of Poke & Box I was looking forward to trying this joint. Located inside 1132 Bishop St. Across from Cafe 1132 tucked in the corner. Small place with fresh ingredients. 1. Choose your size: Small Medium Large 2. Choose your rice or all salad: White Multi grain Or Brown or Salad 3. Protein: Ahi, Spicy Ahi (looked same), Salmon, Hamachi, Tako or Tofu 4. Sauce: Too many to remember 5. Salad Type: Spring, Romaine and 1 more I can't recall. All organic. 6. Toppings: Plenty 7. Salad Toppers My order was as follows: Medium on Multi Grain rice. Spicy Ahi with wasabi aioli and ahi with sesame with romaine. Topped with crab salad, masago and onions. And topped again with crispy garlic and crispy onions. It was all packed in a very nice and sturdy container that can be reused as my lunch container! Sizeble portion and I loved that the toppings weren't as stingy as other places. The amount of romaine added a great fresh crunch to the poke bowl. The wasabi aioli was okay and the sesame was delicious. At the condiments area they have bottles of sauce should you want to try. Tried the peanut butter (nope) and dynamite (bomb no pun intended). My friend had hers with the Korean which was too sweet for our taste. The guy helping us was very nice and friendly. I wish I could say I'm embarrassed of how often I come here. But I can't & I'm not. I always get the same order. Medium (2 scoops) of ahi with dynamite sauce with onions, green onions & masago mixed in over white rice. I don't get the fancy stuff with salad and anything else. I love love love the poke here. The place itself is very clean and organized. It's tucked away so you have to search for it, but I'm so glad I was introduced to it. The staff is very friendly, the man (I believe he's the owner) is always so friendly and welcoming. He walked me through my first order. Working downtown I have tons of lunch options but this is always on top of my list. read more

The fish is always fresh and they have so many toppings to choose from! A large is $14 but you get to choose from rice or salad, 3 protein, your choice of sauce, 3 toppings, and additional toppings such as furikake, tempura, fried onions, etc. read more
This is based off of first time review. Stumbled here by accident cause I thought it was still the Korean place. Which was perfect because poke was actually my first choice! It's a Poke bar where you get to pick and choose your own bowl. Menus is straight forward. You pick your grain, your protein, veggies and toppings. 1 choice of protein is $8.95 then it's goes to medium size, 2 choices for 10.95 and so forth. I got the hamachi and spicy tuna and asked to mix it in with their dynamite sauce. Added romain lettuce, seafood salad, fish eggs, crab salad, furikake and tempura flakes. Pretty good options and choices of fish for the price. The sauce was nice and creamy, the fish was fresh and clean, and the veggies were a good mix. I also tried the wasabi Aoli sauce for dipping. Good balance between sweet and spicy. I think i prefer it over the dynamite sauce. Hopefully it's location will be more noticeable cause I feel that a lot of good places come and go here because it's so hidden. Will definitely come back again. read more
