    Sushi tuna burger
    Meri L.

I saw this place pop up in Instagram in a reel prior to vacation. I knew I had to go while in town, and I'm glad I did as the hype is real regarding the sushi burger! This place is located in Doral Yard. You place your order at the counter and wait for your device to buzz. Now the food... You can choose your protein for the burger; tuna, salmon or tofu. I went with tuna. The rest of the burger consisted of kani and seaweed salad, and avocado which was all packed inbetween two crispy rice "buns." The texture between the crispy rice and the sushi was great. It also came with a side of eel sauce and spicy mayo. Everything was a great marriage of flavors and kept me wanting more and more. The reason I had to take away a star was because I was charged for soda AND chips when I only ordered a soda. The plantain chips were good, but since I didn't order them it was a little upsetting to see it on the bill. Overall, this was a delicious lunch and I definitely recommend stopping in!

I finally got my hands on the sushi burger from Doral Yard's Pokekai and it was delicious! The "burger buns" are made from fried sushi rice rice, and layered in between was fresh tuna, crab salad, avocado, and topped with sesame seed. I thought the burger was great. The rice buns were crunchy, and added a great texture to the fillings in between. You wouldn't guess but it's a heavy filling and I felt full and satisfied afterwards. I liked it. The yard has an option and variety of different types of cuisine so you're not just limited to sushi if you don't like it. We washed it down with a picture of sangria, which was a perfect refreshing drink.

Saw them on tiktok and really wanted to try their poke burger. I ended up getting the salmon poke burger. The vibe of the place was immaculate in the food hall. Got the food pretty fast and it was amazing. The salmon was fresh, the crispy rice burger buns were hot and delicious. A definite must try. It's a place where you get a beeper and get your food when it's ready. The service in the food hall was surprisingly good, they brought us cups with a water jug when we sat down which was awesome. Highly recommend

Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly host. The music was loud and very upbeat. It definitely fit the ladies night aesthetic. The food was excellent. We went during ladies night so all rolls were half off! We ended up getting the shrimp roll which tasted great! I would definitely love to go back and try other rolls!

Pokekai is located inside the Doral Yard. The menu is packed with some really incredible options including sushi rolls, poke bowls and some appetizers. The first time I visited, I ordered the Spicy Tuna Bowl, which was really delicious. The tuna was fresh and even with the jalapeños included wasn't as spicy as you'd expect it to be. Packed with flavor and just enough heat that you can enjoy it without reaching for your drink after every bite. The second time I visited I ordered the Brie Paradise bowl, because it sounded really interesting. Holy guacamole--this bowl blew my mind! It was soooo delicious. With the shaved coconut and chopped fried plantains, the pineapple and Brie cheese paired with shrimp tempura and krab. This is the best poke bowl I've ever had, ever. It was -chef's kiss- Both times I visited for lunch the service was quick and the staff was friendly. Ambiance of the Doral Yard is typical of a busy food hall but depending on the day/events is what determines how packed it is with people. First time I visited for lunch I was able to get a high top table for my friend and I. Second time visiting was today, and it was pretty empty/easy to get a spot for one.

Got the sushi burger with tuna. The tuna was very fresh and burger very filled. Liked it more than I thought. Would just get it once to try though, would rather just eat sushi.

Lots of interesting options on the menu. We got the poke burger, which was pretty good. Just a little messy, but the rice bun was nice and crispy. We also ordered the Kai Nachos, which had good flavor too. Just not a fan of the chips they used, since they were hard. I was thinking that maybe they could've used wontons. Just a thought, but overall, a pretty good spot at Doral Yard.

Yummmmmy. Burger was very filling. Fresh and quick. Highly recommend. Girls at the front were very friendly.

This is probably the best option within the small food court in The Yard in Downtown Doral. We ordered one of the signature bowls: Spicy Ahi Tuna, which was $21. Even though it was good, and filling compared to the other restaurants in The Yard, still quite pricey for what you are getting. The serving size you are receiving does not feel justified with the price, especially with how much rice to fish ratio you are getting.

The poke burger? Unreal. Fast service, great vibes, and tons of dessert spots around too. If you've never tried a poke burger, this is where you start! They also have delicious sushi and other seafood options to try from.

The nachos were fantastic!!!! Service was a little slow to get our food but well worth it! Love the vibes of Doral yard!

Salmon & crispy rice sandwich is

The food is excellent. My wife went and brought it to me for lunch, so I don't know what the food is called but the salmon between crispy rice sandwich and the tuna and chips were delicious. The fried fish balls were good but not as good as the other two.

    Poke bowl. Yes please!

There's lots to see while you wait for your dinner reservation. There's two dinner options. Dinner with no show or dinner & show. We went for the dinner and show. The show does not include dinner. Those are two separate fees. While we waited for the rest of our party to arrive we were walking around the outside area. We saw the waterfalls and the gardens. Very pretty, especially at night. Once inside I noticed how clean everything was. This restaurant is pretty big and it was spotless. The bathroom is one of the prettiest and cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen! We got seated pretty quickly. I started with the Mai-Kai special. A very light drink. Very refreshing and not too strong. I then ordered the Short Rib Drunken Noodle. So tasty and the meat was so tender. I highly recommend this plate. Lastly, the show began. This truly was the highlight of the night. It's very interactive as well. The musicians and dancers are so talented. This is one of those places you have to try at least once.

Having moved to Miami in the past year I am in search of the perfect poke lunch. I will be posting all the stops along my journey on the yelp over the next week or so. I have tried each of these establishments at least three times now and feel comfortable evaluating their take out. I have tried to stick loosely to the same order so the comparisons remain objective. Today's choice was Poke88. I ordered a large bowl which at this establishment is three proteins. As usual, I chose tuna, salmon, and spicy tuna as my three proteins. I had it prepared on a salad base. They have a limited number of vegetable choices and only allowed choosing five which is a bit disappointing as there are three more that I would've liked to have included in my meal. I chose red cabbage, cucumber, carrots, red onions, and edamame beans, but was unable to also select sweet corn, mangoes, and carrots which to me would've made it a much more perfect meal. I added spicy mayo and eel sauce. For toppings, I picked Masago, crispy garlic, furikake, avocado, and seaweed salad. Again, there were others I would like to add like ginger, scallions, and crispy onions, but was limited to five. Wasabi was not even offered. The best part about the bowl was it the fish was very fresh. The worst part was very little of it. And there was almost no Masago. if there was crispy garlic, it had lost its crispy before arriving. The avocado was a nice portion and it was fresh and delicious. Overall, for a large bowl, this was an extremely small portion size with very little fish. The fish itself was a high-quality and tasted quite good. The spicy mayo lacked any spice at all so if I order again, I will make sure to order a higher level of spice. I did enjoy the meal but based upon the price and the portion size, I am not sure that I will order from there again. I would write this with approximately 3 1/2 stars, but that is not a choice and based upon the quality of the food I would rather round up to four stars however this establishment did not match up well with my favorite from my prior location and compared to the other local poke places, I would have to say the overall experience is only average despite the fish quality being mildly better.

Walking into Poke Bros in Coral Springs feels a little like accidentally stepping into a final exam…read moreyou did not study for. Let me start with the positives, because there are plenty. The salmon is fresh, tuna and crab also fresh, like legitimately fresh. The sushi rice is prepared well and served with what can only be described as a generous hand. The ingredient displays are spotless, almost surgically clean, which is reassuring when raw fish is involved. The food itself? Pretty good. The sauces are where things wobble a bit. The one I chose leaned watery instead of bold, but it didn't ruin the bowl. Everything tasted clean, balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Now... the experience. Poke Bros is a build your own poke bowl spot, which is great in theory. In practice, it assumes you have been doing this weekly since 2004. The staff stands there, calm, efficient, and emotionally distant, waiting for you to confidently bark out a sequence of bases, proteins, toppings, and sauces like you're ordering off a secret menu. I am not that guy. If you don't do build your own poke bowls on a regular basis, ordering here can feel weirdly intimidating. There's an unspoken expectation that you know exactly what you want, in exactly the right order, with zero hesitation. A little guidance, a simple "Most people like this" or "Want a recommendation?" would have gone a long way and probably bumped this review up a full star. Instead, you're left standing there, scanning the menu like you're decoding ancient scrolls while a perfectly sterile operation unfolds around you. So overall, Poke Bros lands at three stars. The fish is fresh, the rice is solid, and the portions are generous. But if you're new to poke or just not mentally prepared to assemble a bowl under mild social pressure, the experience can feel more off-putting than welcoming. Good food. Clean space. Slightly intimidating vibes. Come hungry, come decisive, or at least come ready to improvise.
