This spot is absolutely delicious. I always order for pick up and I usually get the golden shrimp poke burger. It is so filling so I have to order it for pick up because once I'm done, I have to just be a couch potato. The burger is built with Crispy Rice "Buns" and filled with Shrimp Tempura. It also has a Creamy Tabasco which I honestly don't even notice. It has some Seaweed and Krab Salad, Avocado, Sesame Seeds in between the crispy rice buns. It is just so flavorful with every single bite. You definitely have to go and check this spot out if you are in the Doral area. Pokekai is located in the Doral Yard. This is a great spot to go with friends and have a couple drinks and eat. There's so many cool spots to check out. But Pokekai is hands down my favorite. There is street parking if your lucky, with pay by phone. If not you might have to just park in the garage. Overall it's a nice spot to come have a good meal. The service is good too! read more

With plenty of options on the menu, they are most famously known for their Poke Burgers. As you see in the photos below I ordered a Poke Burger with tuna as my protein. It was amazing! It's not even as messy as you think it would be. It's also a large portion size for around $20 so I believe it to be good value. I saw this place pop up in Instagram in a reel prior to vacation. I knew I had to go while in town, and I'm glad I did as the hype is real regarding the sushi burger! I went with tuna. The rest of the burger consisted of kani and seaweed salad, and avocado which was all packed inbetween two crispy rice "buns." The texture between the crispy rice and the sushi was great. It also came with a side of eel sauce and spicy mayo. Everything was a great marriage of flavors and kept me wanting more and more. The reason I had to take away a star was because I was charged for soda AND chips when I only ordered a soda. I was so excited to go to Pokekai for the longest time because of social media showing the tuna sushi burgers and let me tell you how much I enjoyed every single bite it was so so so delicious! Packed with flavor and just enough heat that you can enjoy it without reaching for your drink after every bite. The second time I visited I ordered the Brie Paradise bowl, because it sounded really interesting. Holy guacamole--this bowl blew my mind! It was soooo delicious. With the shaved coconut and chopped fried plantains, the pineapple and Brie cheese paired with shrimp tempura and krab. This is the best poke bowl I've ever had, ever. It was -chef's kiss- Both times I visited for lunch the service was quick and the staff was friendly. Ambiance of the Doral Yard is typical of a busy food hall but depending on the day/events is what determines how packed it is with people.
