Amazing poke spot. Busy for a reason. Super friendly staff and tons of options , you build your own bowl exactly how you want it. Fresh, fast, and hits every time. Right across from FIU. Definitely coming back.
I absolutely love this poke place! I have been going to them for 5+ years (before it was called J-Petal), and I always get the same thing: Spicy Krab & Shrimp Signature Bowl. Sometimes, I treat myself to a Mango Bubble Tea with Tapioca Pearls, and they are both delicious. Even after moving further away from it, I still sometimes drive out of the way to get it if I am in the mood for a poke bowl. If you want to spice it up, I have bought sushi paper rolls, and I put my poke bowl into it to make a burrito. Although I mostly get my order to go, the place is nice and clean, and there are always tables available. The team is nice and always helpful, and it's super easy to order to-go meals from their website. The place is in a plaza. So, there's always free parking available.
Had the medium sushi rice bowl with tuna and salmon and pretty much every topping available! What a deal for such a large quantity! Not to mention the quality here is top notch. I love coming here for a feast! Belly is full and I am very happy. Will return again. Staff is always friendly and welcoming!

Though there was a recent price increase from the last time I went. The staff are friendly and patient. There is a variety of toppings. I decided to order eel last time I went and was delighted with the quality. It is made fresh to order and coated in a thick sauce. A hidden gem that needs to be added to anyone list.
In a city that has more than enough poke restaurants, it is pretty hard to stand out but Hawaiian Poke is up to the task. When I want poke, they're really poor thing that I look for. First the ingredients, whether it be the fish or the vegetables or even the fruit must be fresh and full of flavor. They certainly checked off that box. Secondly, there must be a variety of mixing and toppings that will complement the fish well and add to the overall taste. They check off that box as well. Third, there should be an array of sauces to satisfy any palate and as one who orders my poke on salad, I prefer one that is sweet and one that is spicy. But most importantly, the two must compliment each other so different. Fourth and finally the presentation should be one that is visually enjoyable as the flavor. Winner again. And yes, there is the usual value for my dollar and excellent service that are necessary to round out the experience which are expected at any restaurant and here they succeed as well. Until I stay with absolutely no hesitation that this is truly a stand out Poke restaurant with delicious food presented exquisitely with wonderful service in a very clean and comfortable restaurant that is so packed with flavor that you will want to return again and again. I know that I do. Five star all the way
Hawaiian Poke is a great bang for your buck! It is situated right bext to campus. Their serving size is massive and you are able to make your own bowls. I wasn't able to finish my bowl so I kept it for a second meal. They were easy to find and there was a lot of parking since they are located in the plaza. There were also a lot of seats available. The ambience was similar to a fast food where you order at the counter and they call your number when your order is ready. Their service was very quick and the food was very fresh. I would go again!
My go to spot when I am craving a Poke bowl. I love the medium sized bowl because it can feed me for two meals, so I get lunch and dinner! The employees there are quick, efficient, and kind, and one of my favorite aspects is that avocado added to your bowl doesn't cost extra!!!! I always get a sushi rice bowl with tuna and all the delicious fixings on top (edamame, carrots, seaweed salad, etc.) the restaurant itself is also very clean and cozy if you decide to eat there rather than take to go! I have yet to try their crepes, but I do love their bubble tea! My favorite is the taro and the matcha for a perfect afternoon pick me up! Highly recommend Hawaiian poke it's the best!

Food is so good, tastes fresh. So much food for such little monies in my opinion. The service is great. The place seems clean. Would not get the spicy tuna protein though really bland and all spice.

Ordered some food off uber eats and got a poke bowl filled with so many different things, with a taro boba tea, banana chocolate chip cake, a bag of chips and a flan. It was all pretty good. The boba was a little watered down but that's probably from the Uber drive back, the ice must've melted. All in all, the food was delicious and the portions were pretty big and very affordable. Definitely would get food here again

Hawaiian Poke, I've been hearing about this place for a while and had to come check it out when I was in the area. I am a huge poke fan but also very particular with my poke. I really liked the flavors and the portion sizes were awesome. The service was super friendly. The only cons were the tuna didn't taste as fresh as I would normally like and the bowl was lacking some sauce even though I chose two. Next time I would definitely pay to get some extra sauce on the side and I think that might help. Overall, I will be back! Maybe with a few adjustments it will be a 5 star spot for me. read more
If you're coming here, make sure you're hungry. Their bowls are HUGE. I always get the medium with two proteins and it is more than enough. They do make the bowls very saucy - I always ask for light sauce. The service is quick but they do get full during meal times. The location itself is simple, no frills. But the food is great! read more

I have been going to Hawaiian Poke for four years now, and their food is always amazing. Their service is always quick and they are nice. The establishment itself is pretty small, therefore I usually get orders to-go, however it's very clean and casual. Every time I go, the employees are nice and the food is always good quality. read more

This is about a 25 minute drive from me but I didn't mind it because the pictures and reviews seemed to make it worth it...and it was. My friend was the one that suggested we go here because she had been there before and claims this is her favorite POKE spot. I don't blame her for liking it so much, this place is awesome. I love that they have 3 sizes, small/medium/large. I chose the medium because I have a big appetite and I wanted to try two different proteins which comes included. I chose spicy salmon and spicy crab....let's just say be prospered because I think the spicy salmon was actually really spicy...at least it didn't lack taste. You have tons of different options to top it off with from fruit to veggies and sauces. I liked that they don't try to charge you for every single little thing...a lot of is already included in the flat rate. Customer service? Amazing! The staff was friendly and even put some topping on my bowl after I had paid & started eating without giving me any hesitation. Plenty of parking spaces as it's located in a shopping center. It's literally right across from FIU by 107th. This place is busy so be prepared to wait a bit even if it's almost closing time. At least you know you'll be getting fresh food since they keep the food moving. Overall loved this place and can't wait to go again. Highlyyyyyyy recommend it! read more
I was introduced to this place not to long ago and I keep going back! Is it delicious but I feel like it's the best bang for your buck. I normally get the small build your own protein bowl and get crab and it's very filling. You get to choose between sushi, rice, or brown rice, and your protein/proteins of choice. I like that they don't change extra for toppings and they have various sauces and add-ons. A small bowl is normally $12. It's tiny inside but there are tables to sit. I'm happy I found a decent rice bowl place and at an economical price. It's my new go to place when I'm in the area. read more
First time trying this place! Nice comfy vibes inside. I got salmon and spicy tuna for my proteins. I was a bit caught off guard from the unnaturally bright colored tuna, but it was pretty good. Spicier than I thought, but not overbearing. The salmon was alright, not the freshest. I loved all of the topping options. Everything was really fresh! For sauce, I got ponzu and spicy mayo. perfect combination and one that they suggested. read more

Decided to drop by after the great reviews. I did a build your own bowl with 3 proteins came out to about $17 typical poke price for the extra meat. The experience however was honestly what made me say **** this place. My biggest mistake was asking if any sauce doesn't have a lot of sugar or Oil in it. She then proceeds to be insulting about every part of my order. I weight-lift as a hobby and watch my calories. When I go for lunch on a work day I just want to get my food and get out. I don't wanna hear an acne face chick comment on my order. Poke was exactly what you would expect. Fast food style major supplier dyed salmon and tuna. read more

Our next food adventure take us to Hawaiian Poke FIU located in Miami FL at lunch time, with a category of 4.7 with more than 410 comments of which are 5 stars which I think it deserves. The customer service is excellent and friendly and most importantly the cleanliness is above all impeccable and those who prepare your order wear masks and gloves, the ingredients they use are fresh nothing is frozen and I think the price is correct for the quality of food that they offer. The three Hawaiian poke bowls that we ordered were delicious, you can feel the freshness in the flavor of each ingredient from which they are made and to finish off three bobble teas (strawberry, tiramisu and lychee). Comparing this to my favorite Poké Bowl Spot in the world, which is Domoishi up in Broward County, Hawaiian Poké definitely has a more authentic feel to it especially with the interior decorations and kitchen design. I love the fact that they mix all of the ingredients and sauces for you before you add your toppings. The only thing I wish they would implement is a Self Checkout machine for those of us that like to build our own bowls, because cracking my head to the side to select from the gigantic list of ingredients is not the most convenient way to order a custom bowl. Overall though, I think this place cements the rise and takeover of the Poké Bowl as the new king of counter-selected foods (compare to Chipotle or Subway) and this place definitely deserves it's Five Star reputation for the incredible food and drinks. read more

I've never had poke before because I was worried I wouldn't like it, however, Hawaiian Poke has changed my mind completely!! this place is soooo yummy and one of my favs here in Miami. I usually get a Medium bowl with the spicy salmon with sushi rice. The workers are so nice and efficient! read more
