The garlic shrimp was really good, with corn, canned pineapple, and OK macaroni salad put together over medium grain rice. The master of flavor at this restaurant has the Hawaiian flavor down, and if we had time, I would try their Kalua Pork or their Loco Moco. Next time.

So, my bro and I decided to give the SFU location a try and waiting in steady anticipation for our custom poke bowls. The food came relatively quickly and the portions are still quite generous but...the sauce department was lacking. We both felt like there wasn't enough flavour to the poke, and the plain white rice was starting to overtake the delicious toppings. I also hope to try their torch options while the weather is still cold out. There is a $10 burrito Tuesday promotion so that's a $3 difference from My Hawaiian roll came up to $13. I'd like to add tamago and imitation crab to the Hawaiian roll (pineapple, tuna, seaweed salad, corn, radish coin, alfalfa, crispy tempura) next time!
