i have been walking here for my lunch/dinner and my experience has been so great!! i LOVE their salmon, it tastes so fresh and i love the sauce that makes it extra delicious and creamy, i always pay for an extra scoop! their crab meat is amazing as well. also i love canned dr. pepper and they offer it. the portion size is a lot for me personally, i tend to have a lot of extra for myself for the next day but that's better for me. the menu is very easy to understand and they're super quick with making the bowl, i usually spend a max of five minutes in there. the staff is really friendly too, i think it's a couple and their daughter so that's super sweet and i love to support :) before they put their main (salmon for me always) in the bowl, they usually put it in a small bowl and properly mix the sauces with the main before adding it to the rest of your bowl, which i appreciate and love as it gives consistency to the creamy taste! as for portion size (again), i'm telling you the portion size is great for the price imo! it's around $15 for the adult one, three scoops of your main (ex: tuna, salmon, etc.) and i usually have extra for another meal, and given how much scoops and how generous they are with all the add-on's, it really is worth it!! i love their salmon so much so i get an extra scoop which is $2. even the kids one is worth it as well, perfect for those who need a quick bite and/or have a smaller appetite or is for a child :) i get a canned drink as well, which is only $1.50!!!!! everything is so affordable and worth it in my eyes, please take the time to visit and try this place :) read more

Found this spot on Yelp and it totally hit the spot. It's a small, to-go only shop with some of the freshest fish I've had in the area since moving here a year ago. I got the 3-protein regular bowl (salmon, octopus, and albacore) with ponzu, and my wife had the octopus kids bowl. Both were fantastic. Great flavor, healthy portions, and friendly service. As this is our local Poke place- I have been a number of times. Parking here is a breeze as it's in a large center and the Rite Aid is no longer leasing one of the largest buildings in the center. This place is always fast and easy when we come. The fish always tastes fresh and the toppings are always fresh as well. I often get the crab (which is included as the extra topping), as well as the tuna/salmon/spicy fish combo. I ALWAYS get the house dressing with 1/2 spicy mayo and it's always great. My favorite Anaheim local poke shop. There are simply none that can compete with the flavors that poke wave provides. Only small annoyance is I personally wish their spicy sauce was spicier. I appreciate that they provide a warm miso soup with every purchase. Came here with a friend during a rainy day to grab a quick lunch item and eat at home. Upon arrival, we noticed the place was very small and intimate. There are NO seating so please plan accordingly. The concept is to pick your menu items and takeout right away. There were two workers at the poke bar area and they were very efficient and very friendly at the same time. Everything there seemed really fresh and items picked and put together were carefully mixed and added to the the bowl. Everything is pretty self explanatory so I won't go into the detail. The menu sign literally explains what you need to do in order to create a bowl. Pricing wasn't too bad considering today's economy. Definitely will be coming back again! read more

This little gem has been in this shopping center for years, but I only discovered it a month ago. I asked a co-worker to get me something from wherever they were headed to, it was Poke Wave. He got me a spicy tuna poke bowl and I absolutely loved it. I've been back four more times all in August '25. The fish is fresh, the place is clean, the choices are immense, and the staff are kind, and easy to work with. I appreciated how they helped me navigate the menu. This poke spot will always hit! The portions and quality of fish are like no other!! It's so hard to find a good poke place nowadays that charges a great price and gives a great quantity. A lot of places are 18 dollars now and the fish has a fishy smell to it. However poke wave is different. I believe a family runs it and they are so so kind. There is never a weird smell when I go into this cute corner shop, it is always clean and organized. I always get a regular bowl with salmon and they are extremely generous. Words can't describe how much I love this place. I pay around 15 dollars I believe for 3 scoops of fish and as many toppings as I want!!! Last time I went they did a complimentary miso soup as well! Very nice Very sweet spot for Poke! It gives sweet mom and pop shot in terms of service and vibes. Dont Be wary if the small bowl sicne they do pack a lot for you in that bowl. Very nice girl at the register who instantly greeted me with a smile, even though I was slightly surprised by the small square footage. (Don't plan to dine in because it's tiny.) I feel like poke is my love language and this place did not disappoint but be forewarned that it's a little different. For starters the bowls are small, probably what portions should be, definitely not what we're use to in America. I was happy that every bowl comes with miso soup (it was 50 degrees), but it's just the broth, no tofu or green onions. The proteins looked fresh (except I'm not use to seeing masago cooked like yellow tofu like that, maybe I misunderstood IDK). Their recommended "house" sauce and spicy mayo were a little lacking so if I go back I really need to ask about those other flavors. I got spicy which could have been spicier but the jalapeños had the real kick! Overall, I'd go back but I can't be extra hungry that day. read more

I was craving poke, and saw this place 10 min away from where I lived, and decided to come. The first impression I had was this place is tiny. It's a brick and mortar at the end of a building so understandably they only allow one party in at a time. I got there as soon as they opened and got out in ~5 minutes! I'm super grateful because I usually spend about 15 minutes at fast food places because their lines are so long and the food is unhealthy. Their service was friendly, and you get a bowl of complimentary miso soup. The portion is as expected of a regular size. The food: - the seafood is fresh so it's really yummy!! I would recommend their salmon and spicy tuna 100%. The crunch garlic and onion are so good so I highly recommend getting these in your bowl. Tip: - You can preorder on their website before going in. They only let one party in at a time so I can see it getting busy during lunch/dinner time. - You can get a scoop of avocado for free! - They only have 2 sizes: regular & kid, but extra protein is $1.50 per scoop so it's a good deal. - They have some outdoor tables, but they're shared with the other restaurants so might get hard to get seating during peak busy times. I got medium spicy & I barely felt any spiciness The cream cheese with sesame side was a topping, but it didn't compliment my dish at all ( it's optional & up to your preference); for me was a new topping that I wanna try. In terms of the price, I wouldn't say expensive since it comes with miso soup. Or they should lower the price & charge for the soup ( I don't know); it didn't bother me. Miso soup wasn't my favorite. We hadn't eaten out since the lockdown started but someone posted that this business was broken into twice and I knew I wanted to support them. I went in after work near their closing time but they still had good selection. Under $10 for a regular bowl (they also have a kids size) including avocado and crab meat. You get a choice or three types of rice and salad for base. Three scoops of fish but you can add more for extra (I think it was something like $2 a scoop) then a good number of toppings. The ponzu sauce was perfect for someone that doesn't like spicy. Complimentary miso soup included. The couple working there were very nice. We were really happy with the food. This new tiny poke place is not one to be missed! Came here for lunch one afternoon, the lady that was working was very helpful and patient as we studied the menu to make our decision. We ordered 2 regular bowls (3 scoops of protein). I had two scoops of salmon and one scoop of ahi. My husband had one scoop of octopus, ahi and one more (I forgot). After choosing the toppings I liked that she mixed all the toppings, fish included, in the sauces before putting it on our rice. Yes, the pieces of fish are chopped a bit small, but it makes it easier to eat. It also included a bowl of miso soup! How's that one!? It was a really nice touch! Being on Whole30, I am eating an unusual amount of poke since I can control what goes into my bowl, and hence, ensure a clean Whole30 compliant meal. This has made me become somewhat of a connoisseur of poke joints, and all the subtle intricacies. Also because I can't hide any flaws in the ingredients with sauce, I can evaluate the bowl on a more purist level. Here's my analysis of Poke Wave: PROs: * The best thing about Poke Wave is that they don't charge for avocado. * They seem to use better quality sesame oil than others. * They offer complimentary miso soup (although I haven't tried it). * I like that they use fresh cucumbers, instead of the sweet marinated cucumbers that some other places use. * They don't solicit a tip when paying with a credit card. * Most importantly, fresh and clean. CONs: - I wish they offered fresh spinach as a base option. - I wish they used more planet-friendly containers. - Closed on Sundays These very minor cons are the only I can think of. Clearly, the pros outweigh the cons at Poke Wave. Go check them out! read more
