Damn that's good :) I went here because my girl was having a nursing group meeting online. I just want to visit her after my jiujitsu class so why not.. I need some coffee after an intense workout. Anyway.. the customer service is awesome cause they greeted me with the smile the moment I walked in. The ambiance is like a modern coffee shop with merch on their front.. it's like Starbucks but it appeal to a younger audiences. The coffee is pretty strong and it's really better buzzing haha. I ordered their bread pudding best drink ever (I love the names.. such confidence claiming it's best :)). Although, they're not wrong though.. it's one of the best coffee shop around in my opinion. So look, I pray this gets overstood. I went here near their grand opening on a super random day and had their best drink ever. It had a solid balance of not too sweet and not too coffeesk. It was a solid drink and something I would like to order again. The interior was vibrant with a hue of hella loud. The staff where full of fun energy, where very respectful, and welcomed me in. Their merch is dope aswell. They had good music playing which is a huge plus with me being a writer and a musician so I enjoyed the ideas that flowed from it, it was just a little too loud for my coffee shop taste. Not over bearing loud, just the loud that gives it more then the subtle background ommmmmbiance. I finally got a chance to go again and it was all the same. A well kept location. Same enthusiasm from the staff and this time they where way busy!! The baristas didnt look stressed, and the window staff was handling business too. Their was a dude next to the area where they so drive through slanging out finishes drinks left and right giving a big baratone yell for each guests name. This time though all the seats where taken so i sat at the center table of shared space. I began to write, got my drink and realized it was too sweet. It was the caramel vanilla best drink. Dont get me wrong it was good, and I know unseasoned coffee drinkers would love it because it was more rich and not too brother darkness tasting. Then I began to rap, and I like a little noise around so im not the only one speaking out loud especially when im sculpting and molding a statue. But it was booming in there like the bazaar in the alchemist. Like I said, I aint mad at it... everyone in there was happy, it was like a well kept starbucks on macho man randy savage. A couple ended up sitting next to me with their wedding planner creating their big day. So i got up because i didnt want to be a background singer rapping sorrow lines while theyre looking forward to their special event. So i switched seats and got sandwiched between two families. So i aint get anything i wanted done. But! Since i have four kids, i can come back with my wife and them and have a little coffee shop date without disrupting the crowd because it seemed like thats what everyone goes for. Every time I come here is a great experience. Friendly staff, fast service, quality food! I usually just get the "Best drink ever" since it's so good, but tried the Carnitas Breakfast Tacos today and they were FIRE!!! The dipping sauce that comes with them is amazing as well! - far better breakfast item than anything on Starbies menu, no contest! Less seating at this location than most, but still space for at least 20 people between low and high tables. Only (very minor) complaint is that the music is a bit loud. read more

Everyone is raving about the Better Buzz. Here I am at the cute coffee shop in Anaheim. The interior decor is nice. Ordered Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever - Banana Pudding Cold Cream topped with a Vanilla Wafer Cookie Proud Source Water - Super Clean water This is my first time ordering the drink the way it is. It was strong bitter taste. I made it 75% sweet. The cold cream on top was delicious to sweeten it up. My drink did not taste like banana pudding at all. It was more vanilla flavoring. Next time I will need to add extra cold form for more banana flavoring. Loved the crunchy vanilla wafer though.... I got the water to help me watered down the bitter coffee flavoring... A 9$ Better breakfast sandwich w/ 2$ extra charge teaspoons of avocado. 7$ lemonade to wash down the sandwich. I enjoy the brand, the building, the design and the marketing but I cannot say that the food hold up to those standards. Maybe I just try the coffee instead. I wouldn't go back for the food. It's a nice place to stop by for a quick coffee run. I tried Better Buzz whenever I was in the SD area. The coffee is decent, it's better than some other coffee chains. I used the drive-thru for a pickup order and the process was seamless. The staff member helping me was friendly and my items were ready on time. The store has limited food items, but not really worth the price. The location is still fairly new and looks clean. Since I opt for less sweet drinks, my usual drinks are the Killer Bee and the Best Drink Ever. I'm sure their signature coffee drinks are more interesting and delicious. Worth a try while you are in Anaheim. read more

I needed a little jump-start to my day and didn't want an energy drink for once. I noticed they had a nitro cold brew, so I figured why not give this new place a try? The nitro cold brew was pretty good. It was very smooth, balanced, and not to mention pretty damn strong. I drink 200-400mg caffeine daily and I swear, there's just something about coffee that gets you more wired and cracked out than energy drinks or pre-workout. Coffee aside, the shop looks nice, but the service is so robotic and kind of impersonal. Also, I absolutely hate the whole passive aggressive tip question thing. This problem isn't exclusive to Better Buzz, but places really need to stop shoving "TIP PLZ!!!" everywhere in people's faces. It's exhausting. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED talk. I was genuinely SO excited to bring my mother-in-law here for her birthday. We've been to Better Buzz before, but I was excited to show her the new location and make a cute little birthday coffee run out of it. Somehow, what was supposed to be a happy morning turned into one of the most awkward and uncomfortable drive-thru experiences I've ever had. When we were ordering, we had a few questions about the pumpkin drinks because we weren't familiar with what seasonal drinks they currently had and were excited to try something new. The man taking our order through the speaker already sounded annoyed and bothered by our questions. Okay... awkward, but whatever. We brushed it off, ordered our drinks, and pulled forward. Then we got to the window. My mother-in-law was excited because she had a free birthday drink and needed to pull it up on her phone. She smiled at the employee and politely said, "Take your time." His response, completely straight-faced "I don't have time." I literally looked at him because I thought he HAD to be joking. He was not. My mother-in-law, still smiling and trying to keep things light, made a little joke about how her arm is weak and she has trouble holding her phone steady while trying to pull everything up. Moving her phone around. This man suddenly goes, "STOP. STOP MOVING." At that point, we both just looked at each other like... It was SO uncomfortable. His attitude made it seem like our presence was genuinely inconveniencing him. We weren't being rude, demanding, or complaining about anything. We were literally just two people in a good mood, excited about getting coffee and celebrating a birthday. And somehow, by the end of the interaction, that entire mood was gone. He handed us our drinks and walked away. No smile, no "thank you," no "have a good day," nothing. It honestly felt like he could not wait for us to leave. I completely understand that working a drive-thru can be stressful and employees can be busy. But there's a difference between being busy and making customers feel like they're an inconvenience for asking a couple of questions or taking a few seconds to pull up a birthday reward. We pulled into Better Buzz happy, laughing, excited about pumpkin drinks and celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. We left feeling awkward, uncomfortable, and honestly confused about what we had done to deserve that kind of attitude. Definitely not the birthday memory I was hoping to give my mother-in-law. I called to speak to the manager.... He was the manager so good luck. They also got our order wrong but I wasn't even going to say anything after all that trouble in the first place! The amount of times I've been here has nothing been short of amazing. You're always greeted when you walk in the door and every staff member at the cashier is so kind and welcoming as you order. The interior is a little small and there's not a lot of tables to sit at so not quite enough room to study and things like that, but still cozy. I've always gotten their iced caramel vanilla latte which is always amazing, but this spring, they had a honey lavender best drink ever, which is one of my absolute favorites. I've had coffee where the lavender flavor is way too overpowering, but they make it so well-balanced. And it's pretty! Always recommend Better Buzz to anyone! read more

Delicious! Must try! Don't miss out! I had thee hardest time trying to figure out what I wanted and ended up deciding on a large iced hazelnut divinity ($6.59) with a vanilla cold cream ($1). My friend decided on a large hot vanilla bean latte ($6.59). Drinks are legit! Espresso is BOLD. You absolutely can taste it in the latte. Vanilla bean is sprinkled nicely a top the frothed milk which is creamy a not overly sweet. The hazelnut divinity with (I believe) the NEEDED vanilla cold cream is a perfect balance or rich, creamy, flavors with nutty undertones. It is abso-fricken-lutely delicious! Service was friendly. I've visited several other Better Buzz locations where the lines were out the door, yet the service, food, and overall experience were excellent. Unfortunately, this location was a completely different experience. The tables were dirty, and the food quality did not come close to the standard I've come to expect from Better Buzz. I initially ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich, but when I picked it up, the bun was completely burnt, the bacon was only partially cooked, and the employee didn't seem concerned or apologize for the mistake. I requested a different sandwich and ordered the Turkey Pesto instead. When it arrived, it was also undercooked. I took it back to the counter and specifically asked if it could be toasted longer. A few minutes later, I received what appeared to be the same sandwich--still barely toasted, with unmelted cheese and bread that wasn't crisp. At that point, I gave up. Not once did an employee check on me or ask if everything was okay. I asked to speak with the manager and was told they weren't there. I was genuinely excited to have a Better Buzz location close to home, but after this experience, I'm very disappointed. With so many great cafés and coffee shops nearby that consistently provide excellent food and customer service, I'll be choosing one of those instead. read more

I see these locations all around OC so I thought I would stop by and give their coffee a try. As someone who typically drinks specialty coffee, I found their vanilla latte to be a bit on the sugary side. I realized afterwards that I could have made sugar adjustments to my order. But it is good to know what their baseline sweetness level is. The decor of the place is really modern and bright, which lends to a great atmosphere to sit down and enjoy your drink. If you like coffee from other large chain coffee shops or fancy flavored lattes, then you will probably like Better Buzz. Plenty of seats inside with a modern aesthetic that looks clean. Service is actually amazing, I asked for very very light ice and usually when I ask for that its still half ice, but this time they were true to the request and gave like 2 ice cubes, perfect!!! The barista was apologetic and offered us a cookie due to the time I was waiting. Better Buzz Coffee is poppin' up everywhere in OC! I wanted to check this location out since it's a bit closer to me. Parking: This spot is located in a plaza. There's a large parking lot, so finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: Just like any other location, there's themed quotes on the walls. Perfect for photo opportunities. They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating. They also have merch in the middle of the store. Tables, chairs, and floors were kept clean. Service: I didn't catch her name, but the cashier that assisted me was courteous & efficient. I came in to claim my birthday reward, and she even said hbd to me twice. Throughput was also quick after ordering. Drink: I like exploring the menu, so I always try something different each visit. I ordered a White Mocha with two extra shots. There are already two shots in a regular sized drink. With the two extra shots, it tasted strong and sweetened by the white mocha sauce. I really enjoyed this drink and plan on exploring their other drinks. Pricing: Highly recommend downloading the rewards app. They occasionally offer coupons and you get a birthday reward. The coffee is consistently excellent, the menu has something for everyone, and the quality is exceeds my expectations every time. For first timers, I 100% recommend the Best Drink Ever. Trust. To my matcha lovers, honestly, I wouldn't recommend it; especially if you like your matcha tasting like the earth. The space is bright and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. I've been waiting for this location to open for a long time now and I'm so excited the day is finally here. This place used to be a KFC so it's interesting to see it turn into a coffee shop. Visited today for Friends & Family day and I had a great experience! We had just gotten in line and one of the staff members, Amie, was able to take our order on the side. We asked her a few questions about the drinks and the limited food menu and she was very helpful in explaining more details and provided good options for us! The drinks we got were the Mango Strawberry BuzZinger and Mango Buzz Energy. We also had the opportunity to order their food menu items: Better Breakfast Sandwich and Açaí Bowl. When it didn't cross my mind, Amie asked me if I wanted to add almond butter which pleasantly surprised me because it's my favorite to add in my açaí! Overall, the service was great. Inside: Great for working. A couple outlets. AC is on. Drinks (in order by favorite) 1. Coconut Macadamia Best Drink Ever - Really surprised by this one because I actually don't like coconut. I was intrigued by this seasonal drink and saw someone's review on it. The foam on top is slightly blue from the spirulina. The coconut is subtle, the macadamia adds a nice twist to the regular best drink ever. The foam just makes the drink creamy and delicious. 2. Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever - similar to the first one, don't like banana flavored things much and I had ordered this for someone else but took a few sips to try. It was also very good and just the right creaminess from the foam. It's not super artificial banana flavor either. 3. Vanilla Bean Oatmilk Iced Espresso - good if you want something not creamy. The vanilla bean sweetens the drink for sure. There were bits in there that made it a tad grainy, and it could've been from either of the main three ingredients. That and my preference for something milkier or creamier would be the reasons I put this last out of the three. read more

I decided to get the banana cold brew since the girl at the register recommended it because it wasn't too super sweet. Sadly, the smaller size is just under seven dollars. So I decided not to size up. But their coffee, is truly outstanding. A significant step up from Starbucks. I'd much rather spend an arm and a leg at a place like this than Starbucks. The cold foam did not really taste like banana, but it was excellent, and the coffee taste really came through despite it being a little sweet for me.
