Service is quite prompt and polite, and there's usually no wait to order. It seems a lot of their business is from delivery orders, but there is a cute spot inside to eat if you order there. YOU HAD ME AT 'ALOHA' A remarkable selection of mochi boosts this Poke Bros into five-star territory. I didn't realize this chain had 25 locations spread out over Illinois, but suburbanites are clearly obsessed with poke bowls. The Bolingbrook location was the first one my wife and I went to, and it remains our favorite of the bunch. This Poke Bros is on Boughton near I-355 in the same areas as a B-dubs, Panda Express, and Discount Tire. I always make my own salmon or tuna bowl ($12) using some combination of edamame, cucumber, jalapeno, pineapple, ginger, and tobiko. Avocado, seaweed salad, and crab stick are $1 extra. They have preset/fixed options as well (like the Johnny Utah), in case all the different choices become overwhelming. You can choose white rice, brown rice, sushi rice, salad greens, or do half-and-half. Protein options include naked/marinated/spicy tuna, shrimp, chicken, and salmon (regular or spicy). For toppings, you can add crispy onion, crushed cashews, sesame seeds, tempura flakes, or wonton chips. There's eight sauces to pick from including coconut ginger, sweet soy, sriracha aioli, gochujang, ponzu, wasabi aioli, and OG (house sauce w/garlic, ginger, and soy). Truly, you have unlimited customizability--yes, Websters says that's an actual word--so you never need to order the same thing twice. It's a shame they took miso soup off the menu and I've no idea why. Each Poke Bros seems to offer unique sides/extras (the one on Route 59 has matcha tiramisu, thai iced tea, and kimchi), but they also stock different mochi, too. This location has by far the most. The list gets longer every time I look at it: vanilla chocolate chip, toasted coconut, green tea, hazelnut, strawberry, passion fruit, cake batter, espresso, red bean, salted caramel, purple ube, lychee, jasmine boba, black sesame, and Earl Grey. PHEW! That's *15* mochi flavors to pick from; you can get 2 for $4 or 3 for $5.50. Try them all! * TL;DR * I'm not the least bit surprised this is the highest-rated Poke Bros in the western suburbs, at a sterling 4.8*. Workers here are friendly and this location gave me a punchcard to use (buy 10 bowls, 11th is free). None of the other Poke Bros do this, so kudos to these guys in Bolingbrook. Since 'Aloha' is both a greeting and a farewell, I'll say "hello! I must be going", though I shall return. This is good stuff. read more

Out of the multiple stores in the area, this one has been my poorest experience. The quantity inside of the bowl was lacking, it was less than every other poke bowl I've had. There was a ridiculous amount of carrots vs every other ingredient. There is also a $1 up charge for just one slice (less than a 1/6th) of an actual avocado. Today was my first time at Poke Bros. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and felt a welcoming vibe. I was attended to promptly and the two gentleman working behind the counter were so nice. They give generous portions and when I asked for basically all of the sauces on the side, they were more than happy to fulfill my request. We really don't get the almost 5 stars Poke Bros gets. We went on a Tuesday at lunch time, not a soul in the place except the girl behind the counter. My wife ordered the High Tide and I ordered the Hula. We both commented that the shrimp didn't taste "fresh", and not sweet like shrimp should. Crab Stick? What's a Crab Stick? Sure didn't see any of that in mine and it was suppose to have it. I have recently become obsessed with poke and have been trying to try some different locations. I've been to some that may be good, usually my biggest issue I've run into is that I prefer alot of times to get my sauces on the side. I like sometimes to maybe have some of a spicy sauce but since it may be harsher on my stomach at times I like to be able to add just a small amount of those sauces, hence my desire to get these different sauces on the side. Some other poke places have been hit or miss if they pay attention and put the sauces on the side. Ordered their Marinated Tuna Create-a-Bowl with 1/2 Sushi Rice & 1/2 Salad for the base. Topped with Pineapple tidbits, Edamame, Cucumber, Sweet Onion, Seaweed Salad, Masago (flying fish roe), Green Onions - Sauced with OG Sauce, Ponzu, & Sriracha Aioli. Added Sprinkles on top too! (sesame seeds & crispy onions) My wife said the ingredients were fresh & tasty. The workers (owners) were friendly and patient. The restaurant/store was clean and bright. My wife is going to call them tomorrow to suggest they host a yelp elites reviewer's party to help get the word out about them since they have so few reviews, and she would hate to se their new business perish in this difficult economic climate.
