We rented four High-End Bikes for my family to ride local trails and The Whole Enchilada. Bikes are well maintained and we experienced no issues or failures during our rides. Each bike will come with a small tool/flat kit. A cage can replace the kit for an extra bottle which we chose to do and out the kit in a Camelback. The extra weight did. It have an effect either. The Poison Spyder Shuttle is affiliated with the shop but not part of the shop. So if you select the 0700 shuttle departure the shop will not be open so you'll have to get the bikes the day before. We also ran into an issue when we picked up the bikes for our first day. We booked a 0930 shuttle with Coyote Shuttle where the pickup was in town. We arrived at the shop shortly after they opened at 0800 and barely made our pickup. The set-up took a lot longer than we planned on so please account for this. Between the paperwork, inspections, and any personal set-up requirements I would account for about 45 minutes +/- 15 for number of bikes your renting. Staff was friendly and very helpful if you have any questions on trails or other concerns. The selections of bikes on the high-end spectrum was also great. I have a dropper post on my personal bike but my family does not. It took them a little time to understand the greatness of this feature. If you are in this position do a little research to maximize your enjoyment on the proper use and techniques of a dropper post. Have a good ride.

Swung into Poison Spider to buy a pair of chamois shorts for my wife after our first day of riding in Moab. Tim noticed my bike, a well kept '97 Trek Y-33 in the truck and commented on it. I love that bike and have been very attached to it since purchased new. While it doesn't have all the travel and brawn of the new bikes I felt it was great for me. Tim explained how the new technologies are superior, keep you safer, make riding easier and more fun. With that we decided to demo some bikes which led to finding the perfect new bike for me. I can't even begin to describe the difference in riding, it's a whole new world! The patience and willingness to answer our questions was amazing. I can't tell you how great, knowledgeable, passionate, and just genuinely nice Tim, Parker, Jonathan, Scott, and the rest of the staff were. Thanks to Scott for the "Birthday Socks" for my wife. My wife and I have truly found a new lifetime activity/sport we love to do together and the staff at Poison Spider was a huge part of connecting the dots to make this happen. Will be back again and again! Thanks Tim and the rest of the staff at Poison Spider! You truly helped make our trip absolutely one to remember!

Best bike shop around for Yeti bikes. Worth the trip from GJ. Personal service. Competitive prices.

I strongly advise looking for another mountain biking outfitter in Moab. Our private tour of the…read moreDead Horse Point Singletrack on April 11th was a massive disappointment, largely due to Rim Tours' misleading staff and lack of basic safety protocols. Before booking, I explicitly called their office to inquire about the trail's difficulty. Their representative adamantly assured me that this was an easy, beginner-friendly ride. That was completely false. The trail features rocky, technical terrain. When confronted about this later, management simply pointed to the "intermediate" label on their website, completely ignoring the blatant misrepresentation by their own sales team over the phone. To make matters worse, we were caught in a severe storm. While I understand a standard "rain or shine" policy, we were exposed to active thunder and lightning out on the trail. A competent outfitter would prioritize safety and pull their clients off an exposed plateau during a lightning storm. Instead, because we had to end the ride early to avoid being struck by lightning, Rim Tours hid behind their cancellation policy and refused to offer any kind of refund or credit, claiming the guide deemed it "appropriate to proceed." If you value honest communication and your own personal safety, do not book with Rim Tours. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your credit card, and once the tour starts, you are completely on your own.
