We did the adventure tour June 11th with our daughter and our 10 year old granddaughter and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! Our captain was Dave, he was awesome and funny, and very knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out many features and told stories about he area, including telling us about the many movies filmed along the river. Ridiculous fun with Jeremy yesterday afternoon at Moab Jett. Excellent way to explore the canyon, with wind and spray in your face! Jeremy gave cool history and trivia about the canyon in between full- throttle blasts, but of course the highlight for everyone were the dunking, thedousing, the drenching. Jeremy is a master if making his own tsunamis, and then pointing the boat directly into it and buying the bow- and sending enormous waves on board. You...will...get...drenched. Be prepared. Do not bring anything on board that cannot get wet. They offer zip locs for phones and have storage pouches, and warn you to remove sunglasses before the drenching begins. But, leave it at home otherwise. You don't need it. And don't fall for the "you might lose sunglasses, so buy croakies" in the store beforehand. Just take them off as necessary. Water, iced tea, lemonade, or soda offered at halftime in the ride. No need to bring unless you need more. Jeremy was a master if his craft, but the other 2 boats seemed to have a great time as well. Cost of $100/person was well worth it! read more

Moab Jett took us on an excellent adventure which combined speed and scenery. We learned about the area while having a blast with Captain Jay. The boat spins, speeds and surfs the wakes along the Colorado River while sharing the history and geology of the area. When they say you'll get wet, they are NOT kidding. Every inch of the boat and the people on it will be COMPLETELY soaked, but when it's 104 degrees out, it's not that bad. Great trip! Guide Ho did us right. Dude has been working the river x32 years. Yeah. You gonna get wet. What a hoot. Kinda scary (that's the point), but guide was comfortable and in control the whole time. Got some time? Spend it with this outfit, ask for Ho and 'fiddlefart' on the river for quite a memory... *PS we had 10 on the trip...ages 8-55 and no one had trouble with nausea on the trip...some terror maybe with those 360 but I think we paid for that...?! read more

If you're planning a jet boat ride, this is the company to go with. The staff is very professional, very friendly! After we were checked in we were driven to the river where we put on our life jackets and boarded the jet boat. Cassidy was our driver and he was a super great guy. We went slow, we went fast, he did spins and YES, we got soaked. The temperature was 100+ degrees so we wanted to get wet. I thought we'd be sprayed with water but the way he maneuvered the boat, the river came "into the boat". My suggestion, I highly recommend wearing something that dries quickly because even with the warm temps, it can feel cold when soaked. If you are in Moab-THIS is a must do. Really, not kidding. First up start off with the lovely co owner Annie (Cassidy's wife) who is about the sweetest and most adorable woman in the state of Utah. Seriously-just want to have her stick her pinky in my coffee to sweeten it. Our guide/boat driver Cassidy was just incredible. He took us on the ride of a lifetime down the Colorado River HIGH SPEED! Also low speed was cool and beautiful....-but the HIGH SPEED was amazing. He did these terrifyingly exciting and cool spins when he wanted to stop and give us info on many of the scenic spots we passed along the river. He drove high speed to excite and terrify us, all the time smiling and truly loving his job and life making people smile. I took the most incredible photos and videos that do not even come close to the beauty we experienced. You will get wet. You will get scared. You will be excited. And you will LOVE this adventure. DO IT!! If you do not have a water proof case for your camera/cell phone camera ask them for a zip lock bag. It actually worked great and I was still able to get decent photos with it on. Wear flip flops or water shoes Wear glasses BUY the photos at the end-they are soooo worth it. read more

What a great way to spend a couple hours in Moab. Guaranteed to see things differently in such an amazing way, flying 50mph up and down the Colorado River. Just waned to give a word of warning, this company's boat trip down the river consists of 360 degree spins every five minutes. If you are prone to seasickness, DO NOT GO. After 20 minutes and 5 spins, I had to leave the boat, DESPITE taking Antivert (like Dramamine beforehand). The company is very nice but I suggest the scenic route. The next day we spoke with locals who said everyone gets sick except for kids from the Spins. This is a trip for little kids who like doing 360's and like getting dunked in the water. We went in early May and it was COLD so getting dunked not really that fun..... If you know what you are getting into and like spinning and whirling and getting dunked then you will enjoy it. Unfortunately, the company does not show spins every 5 minutes. Some people only did 1 spin, our driver did them all the time. The views of Arches are very nice though.... Just wish the company had been more honest about what the ride is like. The locals we spoke to afterwards agreed that even they got sick the one time they tried it. read more

We did the two hour excursion and loved every minute of it. We had a group of 4 with 2 adults and an 11 and 9 year old. We all had a blast and the kids said it was their favorite experience of our 4 week trip. Our captain Jeremy was awesome!! He was not only knowledgeable, but a very experienced and capable driver. Why bother replying if you are not going to read the whole review. Like I said, we were NEVER told that there was a cancellation fee during our phone call. You guys sent the confirmation email AFTER we ended our phone call. ** Called this place just after 10am and spoke to a woman named Anne who was very rude. I was having trouble hearing her and asked if she could repeat something she had said only to have her begin speaking to me as if I was a 5 year old child. Eventually I made a reservation for he next day and when I told Anne "thank you" for her help she replied with "uh huh" and hung up. Before 10:30am I was notified of a family emergency so my friend called back for me in order to notify this place that we'd have to cancel. Their only concern seem to be getting a cancellation fee out of us, which was the full price of our reservation, since we had let them know less than 48hrs before our reservation time. This would have been fine had we been told about the fee while making the reservation, but they didn't mention a cancellation charge at all, partial or full. According to Anne, the only way we wouldn't be charged the cancel fee was if someone else happened to reserve the exact same time slot for the boat tour that we just had. When my friend asked Anne how often canceled reservations get filled, Anne replied with "The sooner you hang up, the more likely it is that will happen" in a very hostile and condescending tone. After my friend got off the phone and told me what happened I immediately called back and asked for a manager, whom I spoke to named Cassidy. Cassidy tried to argue with me that cancellation fees were standard. "Do you understand that?", he said repeatedly. I told him that standard or not, we hadn't been informed of such a fee during our making of the reservation at all, so he eventually said that he'd "see what he could do" and call me back. Less than 5 minutes later Cassidy called back and said he would honor our cancellation without a fee because "someone else filled the spot". It's much more likely he hung up to check with Anne and see whether or not she had mentioned the cancel fee to us, which she hadn't, and upon realizing he had no real leverage decided we were more trouble than we were worth and lied to us about someone else filling the reservation. These people come off as very insincere and greedy, and are not worthy of your money in our opinion. I recommend taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a enjoyable experience in Moab. read more

Highly recommend this for anyone! Our whole family had a great time. Be prepared to get wet as you zip down the "Red River". Lots of fast turns and plenty of time to sightsee and get some trivia about the area. Beautiful scenery and adventure in one! The owners were really nice. The guide was one of the owners and took care of us. We had a glitch when the boat got a stick in the engine, but he was quick to fix it while we enjoyed a splash at a beach. We learned this company is run by two brothers and they each took a group of people out in separate boats on our run. Their chemistry and comeraderie add a little playfUl twist to the ride. Very family friendly ride. Our guide, the brother of the owner I noticed was very patient in answering a barrage of annoying questions from one of our child passengers. All the locals on the beaches and rafting and kayaking down the river were all giving us the thumbs down and yelling at us to go away. It seems like this company, which is the only motorized presence on this stretch of river, and has only been around a few years, is absolutely despised by the local community and other tourists who are just trying to enjoy a quiet and fun river experience. The jet boats speed upriver, are extremely loud and fast, and create large wakes that erode the river bank and annoy everyone else trying to have a nice time on river. The jet boats spin in circles and zig-zag at high speeds up river. WE EVEN KNOCKED OVER A SMALL CHILD WITH OUR WAKE AT ONE POINT, and the guides just laughed while her parents yelled at us to slow down. Multiple times, the guides literally yelled at and taunted people who were asking us to slow down, or who gave us a thumbs down. Please don't support this horrible business. Float the river with one of the rafting companies that has been operating in the area for decades -- it's way more fun anyways. read more
