We did the guided sunset tour of Hells Revenge with Kyle. He was awesome to say the least. Felt very safe with him as he drove us around and talked about all the history of the area. Kyle is knowledgeable of the area and has awesome driving skills. Made it super fun! He put my mind at ease and has created a new passion for me. I cannot wait to hit more trails and UTV rock climb. As far as the UTVs go they were in great working order and nothing was broken, again felt very safe in these and with Kyle in the drivers seat it made the ride that much more fun. We were able to focus on all the beauty Moab and Hell's Revenge has to offer. I would highly recommend these guys. We did an early morning 4 seater side by side with Aaron as our guide. The length was about 2.5 hours. We were going to rent our own side by side and find our way around but following a guide was a great experience. Even if you have ATV/UTV knowledge, you don't know the course or direction. It made it nice to watch Aaron navigate through an area and know we could do it too. I would definitely wear a face buff for the sand. Goggles and water are supplied free of charge. You start off in town at their shop and drive through town to the course. Would highly recommend! read more

We rented a Yamaha Wolverine for 24 hours of self-guided exploration. The proprietors have a photo of a bloviating sphincter on the wall, a nation-dividing, insurrection-triggering conman. That may give some insight into the attitudes you encounter here, especially reading reviews about their treatment of foreigners. The woman who got us started handed us a 1,200th-generation photocopy of a ditto of a mimeograph as a map which was all but useless, except that it did indicate the names of paths we should not try to attempt. She didn't explain it well, but there's an optional voucher for about $50 which covers flat tires, filling the tank, and cleaning the vehicle. To make it clear: the tank holds about 9 gallons, so at prevailing gas prices you're better off to fill it yourself a spitting distance from the shop. The woman said it's incredibly rare to pop a tire. More on the cleaning later. The vehicle was fine; in-tune, ready to go. We borrowed a cooler and bungies, the cooler was ancient and poor quality, but that's not what we were there for. When self-guiding, the experience is your own making. We had an incredible time. Over the course of the 24 hours, we did 3 trails the first day and one more spin through Fins & Things at dawn the next morning. So. Much. Fun. On our way to the shop, we refilled the tank and parked out front. A guy came out to check out the vehicle and commented "oh... you didn't buy the waiver? this thing's going to need to be power washed." Power washed? In the desert in the summer? There wasn't any mud on the thing, just some dust. Why on earth would you need to power wash this? How about dusting it down? "Well, I guess I could just power wash it for you..." the guy said. I went along, but it sure seemed like he was fishing for a few bucks under the table to have the thing cleaned. In any case, he hopped in, and drove off, so we assume that was the end of the rental. No sign-out papers, no "thanks for your business." If we receive a charge on our credit card later on, presumably for the power washing, we will certainly speak with the credit card company and reverse the charge. So: the vehicle was fine, the accessories adequate, the staff very unimpressive. read more

BRING YOUR $$$$$$ The ride was great until our vehicle tipped over after the wheels hit sand. No excessive speed or recklessness by the driver. Just an unskilled, untrained, first-time driver coupled with the terrain. No training was provided before the tour began. The rollover ripped off the plastic fender but the UTV ran fine with no issues during the 30-minute ride back to the shop. Upon return the owner assessed the damage and presented us with an "estimate " for over $1000. When told that the 22-year old driver didn't have $1000 bucks, the owner threatened to call the sheriff and federal agents from the Bureau of Land Management. And it just got worse. The hour and a half ride cost over $1500. Beautiful scenery, but not worth $750+ per hour. Skip it and avoid this guy's rip off scam read more

The owner reimbursed us in full (with proof of test) even though they have a 72 hour cancellation policy. We will be returning to Moab and will definitely use this company, as I'm impressed with their integrity and doing the right thing for the safety of everyone. We went to this place looking for UTV rental options and ended up renting somewhere else. This may be more of a bother to some people, but for us this place and it's staff was not doing it for us. The vibe you get from the staff is not good. They were incredibly arrogant and talked to us in a way that aimed to make us believe their business is the last Coke in Moab and we should be lucky to have them. We look at options and 2 UTV types were not available and out of the picture already. The only affordable one was their cheapest option which did not look that great. As we were discussing our options, the guy that I assume owns the place or is the one in charge was being extemely rude to a foreign tourist that went in with his wife to seek info. Usually I do not care much about these types of situations nor I am one to get offended for the experiences of others, but the terrible customer service was uncomfortable. The foreign tourist was asking for options and for a map of trails available. The guy from the store just talked to him in a very unfriendly and uninviting manner and responded him with "There are hundreds and hundreds of trails dude, do you think I have a map for all of those?" as he laughed to us and his business partner as if it was funny. On top of that he asked the guy where did he live and what did he do for a living. When the guy answered he was some sort of driver, the big guy from the store asked what his wife did. The tourist, weirded out, answered she is a stay-at-home wife. Then the guy from the store started saying that he must make a lot of money to bring her and him on a trip. The guy was confused and so was I. What are you even trying dude? Interrogate this foreign individual who happens to live in the States about his life? After being mean and unwelcoming to him? The tourist left the store feeling confused. We were not feeling it either and found them a little sketchy, so we went down to Moab Tour Company instead. WOW! Moab Tour was the total opposite. Great options and prices (all of them available and in great shape). The staff there was incredibly friendly, took time to answer all of our questions and provided tips for our time riding. And guess what, they provided us with a MAP of the must-go places and went over it with us. Something that this dude at Ultimate UTV Adventures made the potential customer feel stupid about for asking. I would recommend going to Moab Tour instead. Super chill and friendly people, they care about your experience, are welcoming to everyone, and will guarantee you a great time. read more

Tried our first off road trip today and what a BLAST! As scary as the hills looked, Kyle our guide knew exactly how to maneuver them and have fun at the same time! The sand dunes were awesome too. This place is freaking amazing! Ultimate UTV gave me an amazing tour of Moab. I went in February which is the offseason. It was AWESOME because there is very little traffic in the park during that time of year. I honestly did not know what to expect, so when I ended up climbing up what looked like 90-degree rock faces I was shocked and stunned. Came here as a last minute idea for something to do on our way to Mesa Verde. Gaylynn was able to set us up on a tour at last minute with Cliff. Cliff was awesome and showed us a great time. We really didn't know what to expect and thought this was going to be an easy "follow the dirt trail" and look at scenery type of tour but it was a fun challenging true off-road experience. There was still plenty of scenery to enjoy but I was too busy chasing the adrenaline rush to really care much about taking pictures. We had no prior experience with driving the UTVs and only minimum experience rock crawling but they taught us everything we needed to know and got us through safe and sound! The rentals were fun, though they seem to easily break. We had two rentals that both ended up with broken parts. We had to leave one on the side of the road and head back into town for cell phone service. As much as management likes to think we were out recklessly driving, we weren't. We only went where they wanted us to go, dove under 45 mph at all times, and didn't take it off any jumps. Management was quick to jump to conclusions, disregarding what we had to say. We understand that renters will try to get away with not paying for damage, but the way the owner treated us was highly unprofessional. Swearing at your customers and making us feel as though we're the scum of the earth doesn't get you anywhere. Especially when we're trying to resolve the issue. We ended up paying for the damage despite the vulgarity and rude comments. A word of advice to management, treat your customers better and don't cuss them out when they're trying to work with you. read more

We had a great experience at UTV adventures. Mark and his team are full of nice, helpful and friendly guides and gave great tips on trails. The process for renting was very smooth and easy to arrange. The UTVs are in great shape and we really appreciated the 20 point inspection they complete before the vehicles are released. My wife and I went on a guided tour with Eli and had a great time! Eli was very helpful and made sure we had a lot of fun and did so safely. We initially started on the Moab Rim trail and had a rear axle shaft break. Eli got us turned around safely and took us back to the shop. The owner was understanding and Eli did not think that we were the cause of the broken axle shaft so they took care of the repair costs and got us into another UTV quickly. My wife was pretty nervous after our mishap on the rim trail so Eli changed up our tour and took us to a tamer trail. We both had a blast! Eli made sure my wife felt comfortable with the trail and also threw in some stuff to get both of our hearts pumping. We couldn't have asked for a better guide or experience. read more

Great customer service. We broke down and called them and within twenty minutes they had found us with a brand new UTV. They were all very friendly and family owned. We had a tire problem and they happily fixed it for us. Only complaint is that the maps they handed us were not very detailed and most of the trails were not marked and hard to find. They should definitely update them because the maps were very difficult to read. By the way, they have a very cute dog named shadow. read more

A broken belt on our rental utv left us stranded 10 miles outside of town. We then got to pay for a tow back to town and were charged with a $500 fee for them to fix their own belt that snapped (it costs about $10 for a new belt). This happened on the first day of a three day rental. Our budget for the vacation was shot. The manager was a scumbag and our interaction with this company ruined that vacation and left a bad taste for the Moab area in general. read more

There are a couple of different places to rent UTVs and RZRs in Moab, but this place was awesome and I think is better than the others. It is small enough where you get great service and big enough that they have a good variety of vehicles. They gave us multiple maps of the area with detailed descriptions of what the areas were like and what to expect. We rented a RZR 900 and it had plenty of pep and was a blast! We did the 5 hour package and the price was very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they want nothing more than for you to have a great time and not gauge you. Next time we're back in Moab we're definitely heading to Ultimate UTV to rent another RZR. read more

This place is the best. I've rented UTV's from them two years in a row now and have been blown away by their service and personalism. The UTV's are top of the line. Both times we rented we did the 5 hour rental (unguided). They provided us with a bunch of recommendations on where to go, filled a cooler with ice for us, and came out to swap out a UTV when we got a flat tire in the Sand Flats recreation area (we ran into a cactus haha). They swapped out the UTV and we were back on the trail in no time. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

My adult age son and I did a tour with Eli and Mark on the Poison Spider trail. The machine worked flawlessly and we were allowed to take any difficult route we wanted. The trail was essentially empty and they took us to some beautiful spots and took photos for us. We could take as many photos and videos as we wanted and we were not pressured in any way with time. They let my son have a blast on the sand hill. It was our first time in an ATV although we had done lot of off roading in our FJ cruiser. Next time we will be more comfortable going out on our own. We were amazed at what the ATV machines could go up and down! It was a great day! read more
