This was a great tour of Hells Revenge in a UTV!! Don was our tour guide and he did an awesome job of explaining the operation of the vehicle and talking about the features of the landscape along the way. If you want to experience a different part of Moab and not be on the "buff" trails, this tour is for you. Don't let the name scare you, we never felt unsafe at any time and Don kept an eye on us the entire time. They have radio systems so you always know what's going on and where to follow. Just listen to the guide and you will have an awesome experience.
"Go big or go home!" You do NOT want to miss a ride on The Beast. The ride on The Beast is unlike any other, it glides up and down the terrain easily and smokes all other jeeps on the trail. Travis is well versed in the technology of The Beast as well as the trails. Definitely an amazing experience!
Travis was our off road guide with "The Beast". Having ridden a few other tours in other towns, the experience we had with Travis and the Grand Company Tours in Moab was by far the best and most exciting time. The Beast is a very comfortable ride on some of the most extreme terrain around. It felt completely safe for my entire family. I wouldn't hesitate bringing older or younger folks on the beast as it is almost a luxurious ride. Must experience.
I cannot recommend this company enough!!! We decided to book an offroad adventure and chose the sunset tour. David our guide drove the lead side by side and we followed behind driving one of their others. David is 1 half tour guide, 1 half comedian, and 1 half glamor shots/prom photographer. I wasnt expecting to be scared for my life driving along impossible looking trails 1 minute and then laughing my butt off the next when we would stop to look at something cool. David would have us pose in ridiculous ways and take photos with the amazing scenery behind. We ran into some other groups with other companies out there, and I'm sure their guides knew what they were doing equally as well, but the personal touch David added just sent our evening to another level. I can guarantee they didn't enjoy their trips near as much as us. If you only do one thing in Moab...this should be it!
So glad we booked our tour here! My husband and I did the 4 hour tour of Fins and Things and Hells Revenge. We were thankful to have had Travis as our guide through these crazy trails and climbs. I would definitely recommend this tour if you like a bit of thrill and challenge and adventure! My husband did a great job driving through this type of thing for the first time. I was happy to be passenger. Travis knows what he's talking about and knows his way around. He lead us in a knowledgeable, but chill and fun kind of way with lots of photo opportunities throughout.
We did the UTV Hell's Revenge Sunset Tour and had a blast! Don was great as he talked you through the course with confidence and allowed you to truly enjoy the experience! Plus this is the ONLY tour company that you can get this amazing photo :) We fully recommend this heart stopping tour for future guest!!
We made a reservation on short notice and somehow we lucked into the best Jeep tour in Moab! Travis is a great driver and did an amazing job of helping my wife and kids feel safe, while also taking some of the more challenging and fun routes. I would highly recommend booking with Grand Company and have already referred my friends coming up to Moab (which I don't do referrals lightly). Travis - we would love to work with you guys again! As we arrived to our hotel, we saw another party had just completed a tour with Grand Tours, they had nothing but great things to say so we booked them the next day. The driver, Teri, picked us up at our hotel promptly at the designated time. (By the way not all offered this service). Teri provided a bit of her background and it seems she's been 4x4ing before she could even walk! She explained the Jeep had been sanitized and there was a cooler full of water just for us. Teri took us on Hell's Revenge for the sunset tour. She explained all the different areas we were going into and answered all our questions. She stopped as many times as we wanted for pictures. The Jeep we went out in was extremely capable and doing things that some of the other Jeeps didn't do. All in all, we had a GREAT time! As a side note, as an LGBT couple we felt welcomed and Teri made sure of that! We will be back and we will be using Grand Tours. By the way, they have many different vehicles to choose from.
We had a great tour with Travis. We had 6 people, paired up with one UTV each. There was one other mother-daughter pair, so 4 UTVs in all plus Travis. We headed out in the afternoon and cruised through Moab until we immediately had some exposure on the first fin. I thought we were through the exposure when when went up some even steeper hills with turns. We had some fun on the sandy flat parts and then some serious downhill steepness. I had my watch on to track my heart rate, which started high, but relaxed as we went, even though the terrain didn't relax. We laughed out loud at how intense the hills were, but through it all, Travis' calm demeanor reassured us that we were in good hands. And we were. We never felt in any real danger and it was a pretty good thrill of our trip in Moab. While you simply meet in a vacant dirt lot on a corner in northern Moab, you get a heck of an adventure out of it. Thank you, Travis, for showing our family a wonderful time. The dinosaur tracks were a nice bonus in the failing light. Crossing that exit fin in the dark was extra special.
Seriously, hands down the best tour I've ever taken! We were picked up at our RV park by Braydon & Rhett for a private, action packed 3 hour gauntlet through the boulders above Moab. Our ride of choice, The Beast, is crazy insane and really catches the eye of onlookers as we cruised through town. From start to finish these guys were incredibly skilled and made the trip such a blast. With periodic stops for photo ops and water breaks, it was the perfect way to spend an evening. We'll absolutely be back for more in the future. The owner Travis was incredible to work with when booking this off the beaten path tour. He told us confidently this would be the beat tour we've ever taken. Judging from my intro to this review, he knows his stuff! Take this tour, you won't regret it!
This was our first trip to Moab and not knowing much about the area, we jumped online to see if we could find something fun to do. It seemed that Jeep rentals/tours were at the top of the list. We were a family of 5 (including 2 college kids and 1 HS Senior) and everything I found said a max of 4 people. My husband would have loved to drive, but I have a fear of heights and had no desire to drive (or ride with any of my children behind the wheel! ), so I was excited to find something that we could all ride in together!! The Beast holds up to 7 passengers and is one price for the rental (not per person). We met Travis at their location on Main Street (gravel area) 15 minutes before the start of our 9am tour. We hopped in The Beast from there and we were off on our adventure!! We were all smiling from ear to ear as we rode down Main Street in the coolest vehicle on the road. Once we hit the rocks, we were in for the ride of a lifetime!! Travis drove us up and down places I wouldn't have thought it would be possible for a vehicle to go! Amazing views, thrilling maneuvers, and a great tour! We all felt 100% safe at all times and trusted Travis with our lives (literally) from the get go! He stopped in multiple places to give us some history and information about the area. We loved hearing about how he ended up with the Beast and his ideas for the future!! He also acted as the photographer, using his own phone and then sending us the pictures (at no extra charge). It was an incredible experience and worth every penny! If you have the chance, book with this family owned outfit! You won't regret it. Thank you, Travis, for showing these flat landers a great time and helping us create a wonderful family memory!
Grand Company did an awesome job at guiding our family around the Moab Slickrock in a UTV. We really had no idea what to expect on the tour. We were more than satisfied with the experience. Although we have experienced off-roading in a UTV before, this was truly next level. The equipment they provide is safe and ready to tackle the terrain. There were moments were we were well outside of our comfort zone however the confidence Brandi exuded throughout the trip was what we needed to feel comfortable during this adventure. I would highly recommend this excursion to make your family trip to Moab complete.
Offers small group FUN 4 wheeling crazy tours. We had a great time. Most the other ones we looked at would take a LOT of people and I didn't feel we would get as personal an experience. Once we got out there and I saw the other tours I know we made the right decision. We opted for the "You Drive Sunset Tour - Hells Revenge", but they offer different options for different wants. Do this! It is a blast!

Moab Grand Tours is awesome!!! If you are still trying to decide which company to do a jeep tour with, you should hands down choose Moab Grand Tours!!! I cannot say enough great things about Travis and "The Beast." Our family of 7 took a private tour with Travis as our guide. He clearly is passionate about what he does and went above and beyond to give us the most incredible experience that we will all remember forever. Travis is knowledgeable, experienced, safe, and fun! He is a family man, is honest, and cares about his customers. He took us away from the crowds and we saw the most amazing views, while still getting a thrilling jeeping experience. We had a great time with Grand Tour Company riding in the "Beast" on the Hell's Revenge trail. Travis was an awesome tour guide and driver! We had 2 adults and 3 teens in our group, and it was the highlight of everyone's trip to Moab. The dinosaur tracks were very cool to see, the scenery was amazing, and the drive was like a roller coaster. We would highly recommend this tour - thank you so much! read more

They really gave us the best tour, amazing price for all the time we spent riding around and knows the best spot for pictures. Really beautiful scenery, very covid conscious, and felt very safe on the ride. We all had a great time and will do it again next time in Moab! So much fuuuun!!! read more

Words cannot explain how amazing of an experience we had on the private jeep ride with Mike. My boyfriend and I thought we were just going to have some random guy take us on hells revenge but what we got was an amazing tour guide, a dinosaur expert, an archeologist, a historian, and a personal photographer and a funny friend. 12/10 cannot recommend him enough. We cannot wait to do another jeep ride with him when we come back. We saw moab from a ton of different views (ie arches, dead horse point, canyonlands, la sal loop etc) but Mike showed us another view of Moab that cannot be seen anywhere else. Must do. read more
