They have nice equipment and even gave us a blanket so we could bring our dog with us. We highly recommend them and will be using them again for our next visit. Perfect spot to get to the trails, yet enjoy town if you want. Owner and team were excellent and represent the MOAB Spirit I come to love from past visits. Would HIGHLY recommend them and visit again. As for process, they have everything you need. Be sure to get your OHV cert before you rent. Then follow their advice for trails if you are a first time user. We made a non-recommended trail decision and turned around quickly (and I used to race motorcycles). **GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE** Drove from VA to UT to do some riding. When we started, the machine was squeaking as if there was no grease in the different suspension parts. Come to find out I left my grease and grease gun at home. Did a quick search for ATV parts, found this place, and stopped by to see if they sold what I needed. They stopped what they were doing and immediately helped me out by looking over my machine and applying grease to all the fittings. Did I mention this was after they had closed for the day? Blew away my expectations! We were out riding May 17, 2021, approaching the top of Metal Masher, one of the tough trails in Moab, when my Polaris RZR 900 stalled out. We were out on our first day of a week of riding with 6 other couples. One of my buddies towed me about 15 miles back to camp. I was very distraught, thinking this may be the end of my riding time on vacation. I looked for a shop in town that could help me, via my phone. I saw that Moab Side X Side was the one that seemed the best for my needs, so I showed up just as they opened on Tuesday. I explained all my rig's symptoms to Roddy (Super side-by-side mechanic) and he said he would diagnose the rig when their schedule allowed. The owners said they had several obligations before me but promised they would try their best to get to it that day. I also threw them a secondary curve! I brought in 4 new shocks to see if they could install them, since my hometown shop in Southern California could not seem to get to the upgrade before my trip. Moab Side X Side told me they would do it if they could. I received a call from them in the afternoon that they had completed all the work!!!!! I went to pick up my rig and found Roddy had changed the fuel pump. He also filtered all the fuel (almost full) in the tank and clean the tank's inside. He changed out my shocks, as well as cleaned the wheel well area from all the leaking oil from my old shock. And then, the best item. The bill! It was sooooo reasonable. Besides the great price for fixing my urgent need to get me back on the trails with the fuel pump, the price of the shock changeout was better than the quote from my local shop. When I was there they said they just took over the shop from the previous owner less than 2 weeks previously and are stepping up the shop's game and services. I am such a fan. I wish they had a shop in my hometown. Please help support this great workshop. You will not be disappointed. read more

First time I've rented a side x side and it was awesome! Spoke with 2 different men and a lady all were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure why the bad reviews, maybe competition. I would definitely use them again. Kawasaki side x side we rented was brand new and most others looked new also. Big 32" tires were able to easily navigate all obstacles we encountered. I recently took a trip to Moab to ride trails with my Turbo S. Day 1 I bent a front A-Arm. Moab Side X Side Adventures were the only business in town that had the parts I needed to get me back up and running!!!!! Not only did they have the parts, but I was able to rent a unit and keep riding. They had my Rig back up and running in 1 day!!!!! They were awesome and reasonably priced!!! They got me out of a pinch and I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation and continue riding for 3 more days. My Honda Pioneer 1000-5 took a dump while winching a bull elk up a tree. (My fault). I took it to Moab SxS based on the opinion of a friend of mine. Dustin and his crew (Jeff,Willy and their Honda guy) knew exactly what the problem was. (I fried my clutch) They repaired it for me and done some other work for me. The price was right. The guys at the shop (and their manager Bubba, the Rottie) were pretty laid back and very thorough in making sure we handled equipment appropriately so as to have maximum fun. This was the first time we have ever rented "toys". Our neighbors recommended Moab Side x Side, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to try it. Even though the on-line calendar didn't show available times, a phone call was all it took to work us in. Full day cost only $50 over a half, so why not? They fixed us up with helmets, ice chest, full tank of gas, safety and vehicle instructions. They gave us location recommendations and maps, too. The vehicle was clean, worked great, and we had literally no problems. We will be back, and will use them again. They are TOPS in customer service! read more

My friend rented a side by side for her family. When she showed up to pick it up they said it was out of gas. Instead of filling it up they made her take another side by side that was just barely turned in. It was muddy, dirty, and had beer cans in it. She couldn't even get it into gear. They told her to just use her muscles. That's just the start of this terrible business trying to take advantage of a single mom. we Only rode a trail 13 miles a couple hrs when the clutch went out. mod course it did. It was bad when she picked it up. Remember? Just use your muscles they said. No doubt clutch was already bad. When she called them. They told her she was out of bounds.... They never gave her a map or told her where she could go or not. Why are they controlling people anyways? They also are trying to make her pay for a clutch and to pay to go pick up their piece of crap machine. unbelievable. This is not the first time this happens here. It's a common problem. SCAM! BUYER BEWARE! We did a 2-day rental with Moab Side x Side. The side x side ran really well during both days, we stayed on the trails that were approved, followed the speed/shifting rules, etc. When we went to return the side x side the worker noticed some damage to the skid plate. We hadn't noticed that until they pointed it out, but we didn't mind paying for the skid plate. The weird part was that the worker took it for a test drive and then the owner took it for a test drive - even though there wasn't anything wrong with the actual driving of the side x side. They came back and started taking the body off and lo and behold the clutch was worn out. Mind you, this is a vehicle with 4,000 miles on it that is probably rented out weekly by multiple people. A worn clutch is normal wear-and-tear - especially in Moab. They wanted to charge us for this clutch that we didn't even damage. After debating it back and forth they slapped us with a $850 bill. There isn't much you can do when the company has your credit card hostage for $2,000. We asked for some driving logs and maintenance logs to prove we were the ones who ruined the clutch, and big shocker, he wasn't able to pull up the logs. We emailed them a few days ago with no response. I think they send out vehicles that need repairs and then stick you with the bill when you return it. I wouldn't suggest renting from this company. They are scammers. Why would "cosmetic" damage to the skid plate lead you to inspecting the clutch unless you already knew the clutch was worn out? read more

They are far from "scammers" and if your part broke 2 weeks after it got replaced what did you do in those two weeks. I have had shit break on me 2 hours after I got it fixed, probably because I am doing some crazy shit to begin with. This place was extremely rude to us. We walked in and while waiting to speak with the front desk to finalize paperwork they were already telling the couple in front of us they didn't want to rent to them. Once we got up to the front we were cordial and instantly were verbally attacked. The man who seemed to be the owner was trying to nickel and dime us for our rental. We called the day before, were very transparent about our situation, told them how many people we had and on the phone they were very nice, welcoming and told us that our rental would work. When we entered the shop we were greeted with the exact opposite. At the end of the day we decided not to rent with them. I am from a vacation town originally, worked at many rental and tour guide companies, and I would NEVER treat tourists like this. We rented a RXR 1000 for the first time in Moab and what an experience. This place was easy to work with, quick in and out, offered helmets, a cooler with ice, and were competitive on heir pricing. The machine was in perfect condition and ran wonderfully with zero issues. Being out first time they helped us with maps and directions so we could enjoy the time and use all of it we rented it for. We did the Chicken corners and the Fin and things and WOW some views and quite amazing with how the RZR works. read more

Worst Experience!! Would not recommend this place to anyone. Have used them in the past and had no issues, but not sure what has happened to them. Maybe COVID has hit this business harder then they could handle because when I went in May I was accused of breaking something that wasn't even possible for me to bend how the owner accused. I was charged for replacement parts for something that was broken when they rented it out. Being a single female I feel like they targeted me and took advantage of the fact that I trusted them to only rent me a side by side that was in good repair. Talking to the owner was impossible about this as all he did was accuse me of breaking something behind the rear wheel before he could even get close enough to actually see what he was referring to and told me I would either pay for it or he would call the cops. He made it sound like he was giving me a deal by only making me pay for half of what he claimed the entire charge should be, though if it really was something I broke why would he do this?? The truth is he knew he was scamming me and was still making out by collecting half and then sending the machine out the same way to do this to someone else. I will never use this place again and if the business is that hard up for money then they should bow out gracefully and keep some integrity instead of allowing themselves to turn into a company that cheats people out of their hard earned money. read more
