Best late night spot for good vibes and delicious food. We spent about ~$40pp (for 5 ppl including tip) and ordered the fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, rose tteobokki, and pork belly. We also got a soju bomb tower. Everything was amazing. Service is great too and each table has a help button incase we need to call the server to the table. Cant wait to come back
Pocha K in Newark is a hidden gem for Korean Food and Fun! Instead of going to Gen's Korean BBQ, we decided to celebrate my son's graduation at Pocha K--and we're so glad we did! When we arrived, the restaurant was still closed, but they opened just a few minutes later. Since it was a weekday, we had the whole place to ourselves for nearly an hour. We took the chance to snap some photos in the adorable corner on the right side of the restaurant, decorated with flowers, light-up angel wings, and a fun photo booth backdrop. We were warmly welcomed by Yuri, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating. When she found out we were celebrating a graduation, she surprised us with complimentary drinks--three canned sodas and a bottle of soju. Such a thoughtful gesture! Ordering was a breeze with the tablet on our table. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I asked about the karaoke room, and since it was a quiet day, Yuri generously offered it to us free of charge for an hour (normally it's $100/hour on busy days, not consumable). The room was huge, the sound system was great, and they had a solid selection of up-to-date songs. It was the perfect way to cap off our celebration. I'll definitely be coming back--great food, great service, and a fun vibe all around! Tip: I prefer the Boneless Chicken with the Soy Garlic Sauce on the side so the chicken stays crispy longer. Also the Beef Bulgogi is perfectly seasoned and not too sweet, just the way I like it.
Okay, so I was hosted twice at this location in their karaoke room! I'm super grateful for the experience and the opportunities to celebrate both mines and my husband's bdays here this year. The main restaurant is decorated nicely, and gives off a slight club vibe, while the karaoke room is just okay. Walls are black and the lighting is decent. I loved when we dimmed the lighting as it made it feel just like the outside of the room, and a club lounge theme. Service is just okay. The communication is a little difficult as both times the waiter I had didn't speak good English. The food is also a little slow to come out. Prices are very expensive, because portion sizes are small. You have to spend more than $150 to feel full at this place. The food tastes okay, i unfortunately don't like their fried chicken as it always tastes like fish. Would I come back again, sure , but to hang out and not so much gorge on food.
3.5/5. I enjoyed dining here! The ambiance was fun and the place was nicely decorated. I especially liked the use of soju bottle caps as part of the decor. They played K-pop music and even had a photo booth at the front. I heard they also have karaoke rooms, which makes it a great spot for group hangouts. Once you're seated, you'll place your order through a tablet. There's not much interaction with the server. The food portions were on the larger side. We ordered their signature fried chicken with soy garlic sauce on the side. Just a heads-up - they only offer boneless chicken. I wish there was an option for bone-in. The soy garlic sauce was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too sweet, and I didn't get much of the garlic flavor. The corn cheese, a classic favorite, was good but came out last. I'd highly recommend the rose tteokbokki. It was my favorite dish of the night! The rice cakes were perfectly chewy and the sauce was delicious.
Pocha K is always a good time. We always come close to their opening hours, when it is the emptiest. I believe it gets a bit rowdier at night, which is to be expected since it's more of a "late-night drunchies" type of vibe. I love the decorations and lights, and how each table has a little buzzer to call the waiter. My favorite tteokbokki of all time is from here! Something about the chewy texture of the rice cakes paired with the incredible sauce is making my mouth water. Usually I feel that the sauce of tteokbokki is on the sweeter side, but here it seems to be perfectly more balanced. I like to add cheese to it and sometimes ramyun. The kimchi fried rice is also to die for, with seaweed surrounding the perimeter of the dish and a fried egg on top. Other than those 2 dishes, you also can't go wrong with the pork belly, boneless fried chicken, or corn cheese. Order a bottle of soju while you're at it!
It feels like a pretty decent Korean restaurant. Although it's not my favorite Korean hot pot or Korean barbecue, their kimchi fried rice tastes okay. However, the beef offal and pork felt quite tough; the texture they aimed for might have been crisp, but the result was just really hard. Overall, there weren't many people when I visited, so there was no waiting in line. The restaurant is quite clean, and the ambiance inside is nice, perfect for social media enthusiasts to take photos. As for the service quality, nothing particularly stood out; it was just average. 感覺很OK的韓國菜，雖然不是我最愛的韓國鍋物、或是韓國燒烤，但是他們的泡菜炒飯味道還行。不過牛內臟和豬肉感覺肉質很硬，雖然他們想追求脆的感覺，但是結果真的是很硬。整體來說，我去的時間很少人，所以沒有等待排隊的時間。餐廳算是乾淨的，餐廳內的情調也很不錯，適合網紅來打卡。服務品質沒有感覺到特別的地方，算是中規中矩吧！
I come here every so often to share corn cheese and katsu with a friend but my most recent visit was the first time I've come with more than 1 other person. Sunday evening around 6PM was pretty good timing for our party of 6 - there was only one other group in the restaurant. They've got dim overhead lighting offset by string lights and the like on trellis-style dividing walls. Ordering is done through a tablet at your table and they bring the bill to you at the end. Gratuity was included for our party and service is pretty average (you might have to personally request water container refills). We got two of the so-maek towers (strawberry was good) and a few bottles of soju after those were finished and felt those were more than enough. The Korean fried chicken, although boneless, was fried very well and very sweet from the honey. Their corn cheese is also particularly sweet but is actually pretty flavorful compared to other ones I've tried. Kimchi fried rice and pork belly were adequate, although the pork belly was definitely on the saltier side. Solid spot for a friends and food.
I am writing this in complete shock right now. I went here for a late night snack two weeks ago. I ordered there combo which on the screen says $19.99. It was super average to taste and I really didn't get why they were charging so much for it but that's not even the point. I get the bill and the total then suddenly jumped to 27 something. I saw that they are charging 24.99 for that combo that just has two kinds of fries, some very bad dumplings and rolls. I tried to get it corrected and the cashier said he can't help with that and asked me to call again to get my refund. I unwillingly pay as his manager is also not present and he acts as if nothing is in his hands. Cut to two days later when I get an email from Capitol one that they charged me not once but twice for the same transaction. I have been trying to call them for two weeks now and they won't pick up either so now I am writing this review hoping they correct their mistake!
Kimchi fried rice 4/5 - this was okay but I think I can make better kimchi fried rice at home. There wasn't much pork in here. Rice was a little too wet for me. Cheese katsu 2/5 - I thought there would be some pork in here too and not just cheese. It was way too much cheese. If they just wrap the cheese around the pork and then fry it, I think it would be better. We came here on a Wednesday night since nothing else was open. Only one other table was filled. Workers stayed in the back of the kitchen
Pretty good and spacious pocha place in Newark! They have self ordered iPads, where you can ring up service or order more water and the bill! Food wise, they have all your standard Korean bar bites plus beer towers and soju. They even have a corner for the photo booth. In terms of food, we were big group and ordered a lot of different food to try. I highly recommend the ramen and corn cheese!
Okay look, I'll give credit to Pocha K... they know spice. Almost everything we've had was basically drenched in some type of spice that left my throat hurting and my need for water grew tenfold. But if that's your vibe, then I get why'd you be interested. My group and I were coming here after an exciting night at Glowfari and we had called ahead of time to make a reservation due to being a large party, but I don't think it was necessarily needed as there was still plenty of space inside the restaurant. You get seated, order via the tablet, and then wait for your food. If you follow them on Instagram and tag them in a story then you'll get a free soda. I left the ordering to my family, but I did enjoy the dishes that were ordered. Their kimchi fried rice was very good as was their cold tofu and cheese corn. There was one clam soup that my group ordered that I didn't like - it tasted nothing like clams and only of peppers, but my brother really enjoyed it so to each their own. Service was pretty quick on a Saturday night, too. The food came out fast and piping hot. Water was refilled, utensils were replaced, I mean, despite the big tables around us, the service was on point. Located in a plaza so parking is abundant and free. I did notice that one guy brought their dog into the restaurant, though, and while I am a dog lover myself, I wouldn't want them in here while I ate.
Came here twice, once with my daughter and recently for my 51st bday dinner with good friends, and we were pleasantly entertained!!!! We ordered: kimchi fried rice Corn cheese Japchae Pocha Rosé Tteokbokki Bulgogi Spicy garlic chicken (i try not to eat chicken) Soju Since it was my birthday, we had two hours free inside the karaoke lounge. Very worthy of social media photo ops, friendly servers, super laid back vibe. I recommend!!!

I personally think this place is a good joint for late night drinking and hanging out. Not so much for the food. The vibes are there and they have nice snacks and apps to sober you up. Of all the menu items, I would say the fried chicken gizzard and kimchi fried rice is the best. Other stuff are a bit too sweet or too salty. When it comes to large parties, the service may be a bit tough but it's understandable as it can get busy. read more
OKKKK Pocha K, you are real good. Finally got to try this place out for a girl's night and had the best time. We went around 6:30pm and it was empty, but a few others trickled in right after us. It was sweet and tasty with a hint of alcohol (our server said there were a total of six shots). Then we ordered four dishes to share: 1. Spicy Garlic Boneless Chicken: I normally prefer bone-in chicken, but they don't have that option. However... this was the best boneless chicken I've ever had. It was sooo tender and juicy. And the batter was perfect and very flavorful. The daikon was really yummy too. This is a must get! 2. Kimchi & Pork Fried Rice: Delicious. I kept going back for more. 3. Army Stew: This one was a lot smaller than we expected. It's a bit spicy too but nothing that I couldn't handle. 4. Pork Belly: I feel like the meat wasn't as flavorful as I expected. Maybe it's missing some kimchi as a side :P We had more than enough food. I'm happy I got to bring some home for my hubby to try out too! The ambiance is really cute. There's hung up lights and floral and light backgrounds for good photo ops. Service was good too. I appreciate that they have a call button on the table. Wow! It's so empty here if you come at 6:30 pm on a Thursday night, but it gets busier after 7 pm. I came here with my friends, and this was my first time at this location. It's much nicer and more spacious than I expected. The interior design is super cute, with fairy lights and a floral wall perfect for taking photos. We ordered a pitcher of mango cocktail to start off the night. It was super sweet with a hint of soju. We also ordered grilled pork, army stew, kimchi fried rice, and spicy soy garlic chicken (boneless). My favorite dish was the kimchi fried rice, which was cooked perfectly with an egg on top. All the food tasted great, except for the army stew, which was a bit of a letdown. The portion was much smaller than expected, and for the price, it's not as worth it. However, I loved the spicy soy garlic chicken even though it wasn't as spicy as I expected. I would highly recommend coming here with a large group of friends. They stay open until midnight, making it a perfect spot to hang out. read more

A really great spot for late night pub-style food with friends! The Bay Area desperately needs more places like this so I'm glad Pocha K is here. There are a few downsides, but overall, I think Pocha K is a reliable spot if you want a casual hang out with friends over food. The food is pretty good for the area! For 6 people, we ordered: - army stew (4/5) - spicy garlic boneless chicken (5/5 must order!) - Pocha K fries (4/5) - Kimchi fried rice (3/5 - okay, small portion) - ddeokkbokki (4/5) There were two downsides being that it's really loud and hidden fees. Maybe this is just me being a little older, but the music is really loud inside, and I felt like I had to yell half the time in conversations over the music. If you're planning on ordering alcohol, just beware for the bill because they will charge extra CRV fees that were unavoidable. read more

I love the vibe of this place! We came here for my friend's birthday, specifically because we saw a sign for 50% off chicken every Tuesday. However, when we got there, they told us the promo was only for parties of one, which wasn't clear from the sign and felt a bit unfair. Thankfully, the staff offered us the same 50% off deal per table, and since we had three tables, it worked out. The chicken was really good, the cheese corn was great, and they had a wide variety of Soju and cool beer options. Service was fast, and the staff was very helpful. Despite the miscommunication with the flyer, I'd still recommend this place--just be sure to double-check their promos beforehand. read more

*LOCATION* This hip little restaurant is located inside a busy plaza. It's 2-3 doors down from the Lion asian supermarket. There's a free big parking lot but can be hard to find a spot during peak hours. *WAIT TIME* My bf and I visited on Friday ~7pm and there was no wait. We were quickly seated inside and noticed that about half the restaurant was empty. However, more tables started filling up as we were eating and it was a full house by the time we left! *FOOD* -Spicy boneless chicken $22: we opted for half/half regular/garlic (they price half/half higher than single flavor orders), the garlic one was super flavorful and absolutely bomb, the regular was really plain and could use a side dipping sauce -Kimchi fried rice $14: good but nothing special -Korean army stew $21: not that great imo, the mini sausages were probably cooked in the soup too long because everything tasted like mini sausage! -Lychee soju $14 -Medium terra $8 *SERVICE* Staff was friendly and checked on us during the meal. No complaints here! *AMBIENCE* This is an interesting place to have a late night snack/meal with friends! The interior is nicely designed with lots of colorful LED lights and is a total vibe. Pocha K in Fremont is a must-visit if you're in the mood for some good Korean comfort food. The kimchi rice here is absolutely killer--packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. I also can't get enough of their tteokbokki and the fried chicken. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but honestly, it's worth every penny for the quality and flavor you get. I didn't know that Pocha K had another location. When we went in on a Sunday night, it was not crowded at all (to the point where we wondered if there was anyone inside/if it was open). Seems like they were seating people from back to front of the restaurant, and as the night got later more people filtered in. The food is a bit on the pricier side but it's good. The tonkotsu is huge and delicious, the spicy garlic boneless fried chicken is not spicy but the taste is amazing. Two of us finished most but not all of each dish. The servers were very attentive, and they have buttons to push to get server attention at each table. The menu is on a QR code image right at the table as well. Tbh I prefer this location over the Santa Clara one. Different vibe for sure but I liked that it wasn't crowded and there was no wait (at least for now), and parking was super easy because it was in a plaza. read more
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a nice time! We were a party of about 13 on a Saturday evening. Pocha K does Korean bar food and soju under a super hip/instagram-able environment. Peep the neon angels' wings and flower wall for all your picture-taking needs while you wait for a table. Once seated, I like how there are buttons on the table to call for service, which was overall very attentive. Water pitchers were refilled and orders were taking whenever that button was pushed. Our large party ordered a number of dishes including: - Rapokki: this was decent with a hint of spice from the tteokbokki sauce - Pork belly: tender and crispy pieces, but didn't stand out to me - Egg fried rice: for our veg friends, and they seemed to enjoy it that we ordered a second one - Corn cheese: yum - Fried shrimps: good crispy, but for some reason the slaw on the side tasted the best - Japchae: decent and a good portion to share - Spicy garlic fried chicken: probably my favorite dish of the night. So juicy, flavorful and also came with the godly slaw on the side - Army stew: decent and comforting - Bulgogi: yummy, the SO's favorite - Kimchi fried rice: this was meh to me - Rose tteokbokki: good creamy with a lot of fish cake We also went with a bunch of different flavored soju cocktails (aka a little bit of soju mixed with sprite and flavor powder of choice). After a bit, we realized the gimmick of ordering these pitchers when we noticed the cloud of unmixed kool-aid powder swimming at the bottom of the vessels. The mango and peach soju cocktails tasted the least kool-aid-y. At the end of the night, I'm glad to have been able to spend my evening with good and new friends, but I probably won't be returning personally. read more
This was our after concert munchies chosen place as it was open late. Yay for that since we were starving and needed to fuel our growling tummies. Located next to Lion's supermarket in Newark, there's plenty of parking space for this location. This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. We were seated right away since there weren't many people inside that late at night. What we ordered: Spicy Garlic Chicken- this boneless korean fried chicken is tossed in spicy garlic sauce. It was sweet and garlicky and not overwhelmingly spicy which I like so that I can actually enjoy the food. It has the right amount of batter that you still enjoy the chicken and the crunch you get in every bite. This one also comes with the radish and cabbage salad. Odeng- it was perfect since the weather was cold and wet due to rain. It has your typical fishcakes that makes up the soup. The broth hits the right spot and warmed us up. Kimchi Fried Rice- topped with fried egg and roasted seaweed flakes, mix that together and you get the perfect pairing for our dishes. Pork Belly- Yum! this was my favorite. Cut into strips and served on a sizzling plate. This was crispy, chewy, salty and a bit of spice in them. You can't help but devour it. This was so good eaten with the kimchi fried rice as the tanginess of the kimchi goes well with the saltiness of the pork belly. It was too much food for 3 people, but we cleaned plate and got our tummies full and happy. The service was quick and friendly, the place was playing k-music so the overall ambience of the place was inviting. I would definitely come back and try the other food on their menu. read more
Pocha K was such a nice find after a late dance class! They're open pretty late compared to other Bay Area spots. They have a pretty good selection of Korean appetizers/ shareables (Korean bar food) and drinks. We liked everything we ordered, especially the kimchi fried rice! The spicy chicken wasn't that spicy but they kindly gave me more chili powder. The only complaint I have for this place is that they don't have actual bone-in wings!!! Besides that, perfect place for a casual hangout! read more

Love this Pocha K location! I usually go to the one in Santa Clara but my friend suggested this one in Newark because it's more spacious to have my birthday celebration dinner on 12/30/23! I called the day before to reserve for a party of 15 and it was quick and easy. I wish I took pics of the food but I was making sure all my friends were having a good time and not feeling awkward with each other LOL. Everyone had a great time and we all ordered our food as a group. We ordered lots of food and alcohol! I have inserted a pic of our receipt below! - Kimchi and pork fried rice: This one is a must anytime you eat at Pocha K! It's so flavorful and delicious. It has such a good balance of savory and sour from the kimchi. - Pocha rose tteokbokki : I thought this dish was alright. The flavor of the rose was there but it felt like it was lacking a bit. My go to for rose tteokbokki is definitely BBQ chicken and I know they just opened one in North Park plaza. :D - Korean army stew: I liked this stew and thought it had good flavor but my friends thought it was too salty. - Kimchi pork soup: I love any kimchi soup so you know I loved this one. In comparison to the saltiness of the Korean army stew I will say this one tastes saltier but the flavor is so good! It's savory, sour from the kimchi, a little sweet it's everything! You have it with a bowl of rice for an extra 2 bucks. - Cocktail pitchers: I ordered 2 cocktail pitchers. A lychee flavored one and then a strawberry one. I kid you not it didn't taste like there was any alcohol in there at all. So then my friends decided to just order bottles of soju. But boy they are expensive so I recommend going to hmart or Costco to buy them for cheaper. Even though this Newark location is further from me I would come here again because it's more spacious and it seems like busy than the one in Santa Clara. I recommend their kimchi and pork fried rice and their kimchi pork soup if you like that sourness. I love Korean bar food and love Pocha K even though it's on the pricier side. this place was super cute to hang out with friends or go on a date. when i went, it was a little dead, but i still enjoyed the vibes nonetheless. we ordered two soju cocktails and corn cheese. both were great. overall, i don't have any complaints about this place, just wish it was a little more vibrant when i went! read more

This spot is so cute inside! The ambiance is perfect for date night or a group. The lights for decor are cute, they even have two walls for a photo op. My girlfriends came here on a Saturday night and it was busy, but we were seated almost right away. Plenty of seating here, this place is pretty big! Service was good, menus are on the tables by QR code, and you press a button to call the waiters and waitresses over to order. I thought the food was good, it came out in a time my manner. Japche 5/5 - This Japche was so good, loaded with lots of veggies and fish cakes. I think this is the best Japche I've had. Kimchi fried rice 2/5 - This dish was underwhelming for me, I didn't get much of the kimchi and I can't say I saw lots of pork. Spicy boneless fried chicken 5/5 - I have to say this was not spicy at all, but the sauce was a delicious soy garlic! We ordered the regular and the spicy and ended up getting extra sauce on the side to dip the regular chicken into. Clam soup 3/5 - This dish was just ok, didn't stand out to me. The clams were a little gritty, and the soup was a little bitter. Spicy tofu soup 5/5 - This item isn't pictured but was delicious! The soup was nice, the soft tofu was nice and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. Tteokbokki 4/5 - I wish the waitress asked if we wanted cheese added, I think this would've made it a 5/5! The rice cakes were nice and chewy, the fish cake was good. The egg was hard boiled, I think soft boiled would be awesome! Overall the experience here was good! The food was good, the vibes were right, I can definitely see myself coming back here again! read more

We ordered the Buldak noodles with corn cheese, tteokbokki, fried chicken, drinks, etc. Everything here was delicious food you would expect at a pocha place! Our food arrived pretty quickly and our servers were very attentive. I would recommend to come to this place with some friends after work or on the weekend sometime! read more

Plenty of parking, located next to a grocery store. The interior inside looks like a club or a bar which is cool if you like that kind of scene! A lot of tables and we did not have to wait for a table on a Friday night. The service was fast so no complaints there. The place itself is kinda pricey for the amount of food and quality youre getting though. Me and 2 other friends got the boneless chicken ($19.00 came with a side of salad and some pickled radishes), egg fried rice ($13.00), and tteokbokki ($17.00) to share. It left me and another girl ok but I think our guy friend was still really hungry. The food was good but I think it tasted like any other korean restaurant. The tteokbokki was mildly spicy, would not recommend if you cant tolerate spice like me. I had to drink a lot of water. Would not really suggest this place to friends myself but if a group of friends wanted to come, I wouldnt be reluctant to try different menu items! read more

Came here on a weekday night around dinner time, it was a bit empty but people started to roll in as we were seated there. The interior is kind of like a club atmosphere, dim lights and loud music. Felt as though I had to yell when I was trying to talk or else people wouldn't be able to hear me. It was fine for me, but might be something to consider if you're looking for a more relaxing dinner experience. As for the food, we ordered the (1) army stew, (2) corn cheese, (3) fried chicken. We were unsure of how much the portion would be but we were pleasantly surprised. The prices are a bit steep, so would've been disappointed with anything less. The stew (1) was hardy and warming, lots of ingredients inside and a decent portion for 2 to share. The corn (2) is one of my favorite things to get at a Korean restaurant, and it did not disappoint. It was served on a hot cast iron tray which kept it nice and warm as we ate it. The chicken (3) was good too, large portion size, perfectly crispy, and not too much breading. I particularly enjoyed the pickled radish that came with it. Overall, enjoyed my meal here. We left with plenty of leftovers, so felt like we got our money's worth. A few months back, we had a large group dinner here on a Saturday evening. Reservations were a cinch and the nice part was they did not require the entire party to be present in order to seat us. We ordered quite a bit of food which we soaked up with an equal amount of soju. I was slightly disappointed that japchae wasn't on the menu but everything we ordered was delicious. In terms of ambiance, I found Pocha K to be a very happy and bustling place. The energy is fantastic and it has such great vibes. Perfect for a celebratory meal or any special occasion. read more
Portions are huge with a price to match. I thought all the dishes we got were pretty well done. There's mocktail options for non drinkers, although they're very sweet! The cups light up and we had them flashing for a bit until they were became distracting. Ambiance is like a night club here. Perfect for younger crowd who come to drink and eat for hours. My friend and I came here after being degenerates from playing Pokemon TCG. We were hungry and didnt want fast food. We came here and it reminds me of the KTown atmosphere which was cool. The only thing that isnt like ktown, is the parking. There's hella parking and it's actually easily accessible! The inside was dim light with neon lights. It was fun and entertaining which is cool. The host was quick and sat us pretty quick. We ended up ordering the boneless fried chicken and the Kimchi pork fried rice. The rice was good, basic korean fried rice. The chicken was good though, a little bready, but the flavors were there. I would come here with friends, it's more of an event type for friends. read more

Personally, I wasn't a fan of this place. The atmosphere is amazing, as they play K-pop and have different Korean alcohol which would be great in group settings, but I wasn't too fond of the food itself. I went on a Friday around 6:00pm and there was a lot of people. Service was slow throughout but they do have the button where you can call for service, like a typical Korean restaurant. For food, we ordered the Pocha Fries which was fries, Cheetos, and an egg. When I tell you my jaw dropped... I guess I assumed it would be fries with cheese and maybe bulgogi on it? The menu didn't specify so my fault for assuming but I wasn't a fan. Next, my bf got bulgogi which came out on a sizzling stone plate like other Korean restaurants which was nice to see. The bulgogi was good, but for $26, it wasn't blow my mind amazing. It didn't come with rice or banchan so we had to order a side of rice. Finally, 10 minutes later my cheese Don katsu came out which was over seasoned with chunks of pepper and mozzarella cheese that was barely melted. Overall, I am not impressed. There are many other Pocha/Korean food spots around with similar atmospheres so I don't think it was good given that and the pricing being much higher than other places in the area. I know this place is popular amongst non-Koreans, and I went in with a bit higher expectations as a Korean, which is why I'm giving three stars. Although I personally didn't think it lived up to the hype, the girls sitting next to us were amazed by the Pocha fries that my bf and I ordered, despised us being terribly disappointed by it. The girls ended up ordering it and loving it so to each their own! At the end of the day, the food was good but not amazing, so I do recommended trying this place once with friends. read more

I ordered Pork Belly and Corn Cheese to-go from Pocha K after craving late-night Korean food, and I was mildly disappointed by the quality of the food. For the price that I paid, and the quality of the food, I think that there's definitely better options other than Pocha K. The pork belly was bland, and also wasn't fried well. Maybe it was because I had ordered the food to-go, but I don't think that the quality/freshness of the pork belly should have deteriorated that much in the timespan that I was driving home from Pocha K after picking my order up. The corn cheese was okay too, there wasn't much flavor, and I think that there was definitely potential for it to be seasoned better. Cheese to corn ratio was nice though, was able to get a cheese pull with every bite. read more
Bar and IG vibe - the place is so cute inside with the warm vine lights, IG flower wall, angel wall, Kpop Black Pink Jenny stand ups, etc. Super cute interior but since it's a bar, the floor's a bit sticky lol Rose Tteokbokki - 5/5 Pork Belly - 5/5 when dipped in sesame oil, salt and pepper (which we requested on the side) Kimchi Pork Soup - 3/5 we didn't really enjoy it, barely any pork in it but kimchi and tofu. We prefer other Korean soup with soft tofu, egg, etc. Corn cheese - 3/5 this was really good but not worth $11+tax+tip Yes, we recommend this place and would come back again if we're in the area to try other stuff.
