Plenary of seating and tables so good spot for groups. Our server was on point and took really good care of us and was very personable. We went with one of his recommendations, which is the army stew. It was really good, especially for the price. Feeling adventurous, I also got the beef intestines, which the portion was a little smaller than I had expected and felt like it had more onions/vegetables more than the actual beef intestines, the flavor was good though. Went here yesterday with friends for lunch around 11. The menu was limited and I felt that there was nothing special to the menu. We ordered several dishes including: -Don Katsu $22 - Beef Cupbab $17 - Boodae jjigae $35 - Goon mandu $9 -Pocha chicken wings $12 - Corn Cheese $8 Review per dish: Don Katsu: The katsu was fried crispy and it was thick, this was one of the best dish that was ordered. It came with rice mixed with seaweed flakes and chopped yellow raddish, giving it a sweet fishy aftertaste. It was still good imo. Beef Cupbab: Unable to comment on taste, but it came in a decent sized bowl. The person who ordered it did not eat much of it, and was able to take it home. But from looks itself, it was very colorful, drizzled with some sort of sauce, had avocados mixed in on top of japchae style noodles. Cold dish. Boodae jjigae: The food was decent enough, with nothing crazy to note. The boodae jjigae (Army stew) did not even come with a single egg in it. For a hefty price of $35, there was barely anything in there, a pack of ramen, some kim chi, a few pieces of pork, some sliced up barS hotdogs, some slices of spam, and 3 pieces of mochi/ttaboki did not warrant a $35 price. I can make this at home for less than $12. The taste was what you would expect, nothing special. Goon mandu: The dumplings were really good. It was fried to the perfect crispiness and was juicy to the bite. The dipping sauce was also really good. I believe it was a garlic base dipping sauce that it came with. One of the better side dishes! Pocha chicken wings: It was crispy and fried perfectly. The only gripe I had was how sweet it was, but that is my personal taste preference, as I am not a fan of sweet meats. However, besides that, it was still good and flavorful, and it would be a good bar food /small bites if someone wasn't too hungry and just wanted a snack. Corn cheese: This is possibly the most let down side dish. It wasn't flavorful at all and did not have a taste to it. It was just buttered corn with cheese and I think there was way too much onion in it than corn. I recommend not to order this by itself, esp for the price of $8 you do not get the bang for your buck. Overall review: All in all, it was a fun experience and it was way "out of the way" for where it is located. I wish the menu was more expansive for weekend lunch. The food wasn't particularly anything to write home about, but it also wasn't bad. It was one of those, "you tried it once and it was good enough" kinda places. I can see this place as a good after evening hang out with a group of friends place. Service: It was average, our server didn't seem like they cared enough to engage and was mentally checked out. They got the job done though, but it made me feel like I am troubling them when asking a question. read more

Everything that we ate was SO delicious. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would recommend bringing a few friends with you to share the bigger items family style. I highly recommend the corn cheese and deopbap. I couldn't really taste the alcohol much in the watermelon soju and yogurt soju. I wish there was more alcohol for the price. Honestly I love coming to this place. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very chill. Good for a nice date night or night out to drink. Pocha 93 was a unique experience. We had a great date here because of the amazing hospitality and the attentive server. First time being a Korean Pub so I had no idea what to expect. Food: we ordered way too much food. So choose wisely if you are two person. We did spicy kimchi stew ramen called option Dul, and we added wings and two side dishes. Because we had to wait extra time for the spicy kimchi stew, the manager gave us two free appetizers so we were super stuffed. Their veggie mandu was probably one of the best one I had in Florida. The stew was more enough to feed 3-4 people. It was delicious and very well balanced. We enjoyed the Korea wings as well. The downside for this type of food is a bit pricey. I get it that it is unique but still. It should meet bar prices, not higher tier. However, they do have a lot happy hour specials and a new brunch menu. 4/5 Service: amazing service by the server and manager. Both were super attentive and they definitely make their customers are enjoying their experience. We really enjoyed our visit to Pocha 93...we weren't quite sure what to expect as we don't often have Korean food, but our server was attentive and kind, and walked us through every step. We found the prices to be very fair and the happy hour drink special was an added bonus as we got to try the seoul fashioned. Definitely a needed bar food place for Orlando. I came here with a group of friends and it's a good place to eat and hangout. We ordered Set #2 along with the potato tornado and corn cheese. Honestly it was enough for feed all 4 of us. The watermelon soju was refreshing. Heads up, adding more soju costs extra - that was the part I wish was clearer. It was almost implied that it was something they do on the house by request. Nope, we were charged for it. My favorites had to be the army stew and pork and rice side that came with the set. I went with a few friends and we had a couple of cocktails, but let's get into some of the meals that we had. I'm not a big cheese person however, I did try the cheese corn, which resembles a Elote but more of a Asian style. They're tteobokki was so delicious. Food, service, and ambiance all excellent. Jasmine was our server and was pleasant, engaging, and too notch. Despite managing 5 busy tables, she was attentive and quick with our requests. The prepared foods were delicious. Best sauce on the fried chicken which were simultaneously crispy and tender. The rice cakes and sausage appetizer were also very tasty and a larger portion would have been nice but the sizes were similar to tapas. The cheesy corn was the most flavorful I've had in the area and very cheesy with a sweet overtone. All the meats for the grill were well seasoned and definitely fresh. Sizes are small so be prepared to order more than one serving. The flank steak was the best. Was not crazy about the ribs because mostly bone and fatty. Would have liked a more varied vegetable option than kimchi and lettuce. Next time will try one of the stews. The watermelon drink (in a half of a watermelon with a ladle) is a cute idea and was a sweet blend of watermelon and wine. Was not strong and was enough for 2-3 people to comfortably enjoy and still drive. Place was clean and well maintained. A spacious bar area with booths and tables on the outskirts of the restaurant. The Chili's of the Orlando Asian food scene. Everything was just good. It was alright. For the price it just really isn't worth it to me. Gogi is right there (my favorite KBBQ/HotPot spot in Orlando) and it wouldn't ever make sense to me to go to Pocha instead of Gogi. Everything costs a little too much and the quality of the food just isn't quite there when there are so many incredible spots around Orlando. It was good, but nothing to write home about. I would strongly suggest never coming here if you're vegan. The egg thing was really good and the drinks were interesting. My friend and I randomly stopped in for a cocktail after dinner close by. Since it was the middle of the week and a little earlier in the evening, it wasn't busy at all. We were the only ones at the bar which was great because it allowed us to chat with the bartender Carston during our time there. He was absolutely fantastic! Not only was he very friendly and personable, he was super knowledgeable about the entire menu and described the beverages with ease. I ordered the Jeju Sunrise. It was made from tequila, yuzu, pomegranate, and lime. Wow! 10/10. It was unlike anything I've had before. A little sour, but fresh and a perfect summer drink. My friend ordered the Busan Boogie/ Also delicious! I am not a bourbon person, but I would order that drink next time. We do plan on going back for dinner and hopefully catch karaoke night too. From the owners of Shin Jung Korean restaurant they brought a first Korean pub to Orlando. The restaurant is conveniently close to H Mart that is opening this year so that'll be exciting. We went all out and ordered almost all of the menu. All of the meats we grilled were tender and freshly cut. The drinks were also on point. I just came back from a 3 month stay in South Korea a month ago so my expectations were pretty high and it did not disappoint at all. The place is super cool from the moment you step in,bar area in the middle of the restaurant and tables all around it. It will be fun to come just for drinks too! As the drinks menu it is pretty impressive !! The food was amazing we went with the bbq ordered some beef bulgogi, pork shoulder and LA kalbi short ribs , lettuce perilla leaves, rice , kimchi. The meats come with garlic cloves (we put them on the grill to roast) and sauces and it was so so so good!!! My daughter ordered Korean style wings (4).
