the plumber, Garrett Pacheco, was wonderful. He came thinking it was a job that wasn't going to be really involve. As we explained what we had had done before and how they weren't able to fix it, he listened, inspected the problem and came up with how to fix it. There were additional problems with that popped up but he just kept going. At the end he cleaned up after himself which impressed me. We simply asked for plumbline to come out and to a once over on our furnace. The gentleman came out but immediately tried to sell us one a brand new air conditioner which we never asked to have checked. The gentleman then proceeded to go into our basement and all he did was take pictures of our furnace and try and try to sell us on a brand new one. He showed us dust around some areas. When we told him we wanted that cleaned, he told us that it would be a up charge. All this guy did was waste our time. I originally used Plumbline 2 years ago for a water leak. At that time the tech that came out was wonderful. Last week I called them to do an annual furnace inspection and they were booked 2 weeks out. I was ok with waiting. I called them again a few days later to have a non urgent drain cleaning done. I was told someone from that department would call me back. The next day a tech called me and said he was 45 minutes away and would be out to clean my drain. I'm sitting in the ER and I told him, I never made this appointment and obviously I'm not at home. Later in the evening I received a text message that I had an appointment for November 17 th. Again, I never made this appointment! The following day another drain tech called and said he was 30 minutes away from my home. Again, I never made this appointment! As a customer I EXPECT to be able to pick the date and approximate time of my appointment. Instead, Plumbline is sending techs out on their own schedule! This is predatory business practices! I spoke to 2 Customer Service Reps who accused me of making both of these appointments! After being treated like a ignoramus, I once again called Plumbline HVAC department and cancelled my appointment for my furnace inspection. Bottom line, Plumbline has become a very untrustworthy company and I will never do business with them again. read more

Big shout out to Plumbline Services and specifically Service Tech Dylan Mecham. I had an appointment for a service yesterday at the house. When Dylan called to indicate he was on his way, I told him my sister was at the house but unfortunately, we had a medical emergency and my husband and I were at the hospital. Dylan cleaned out our main sewer line and indicated we did not need any additional work. He told my sister it was a small job and refused payment because it sounded like we had enough to deal with right now. He was right about that! BUT we haven't experienced this type of kindness and honesty in quite a while. THANK YOU Dylan. This is a tough review to write because I have had very mixed experiences. First, the good. On the 4th of July we had an emergency plumbing issue and Brett A. from Plumbline was able to come out at 2:00a.m. to fix it. He was great and Brett worked really hard to get it done. I would hire Brett A. again. Now the bad. Because we were so happy with Brett, we called Plumbline to do some electrical and AC services for us. We called on 7/5/19 and were told that the earliest someone could come was on 7/12/19. Not a problem, the electric and AC isn't an emergency, so we booked both services the 12th. I took the afternoon off from work and was slotted for the 1pm-5pm timeframe for both services. Because we needed electric work and AC work, they would need to send two different technicians out and they would come at different times between 1-5pm. Again, not a problem. At approx. 3:30pm on the 12th I get a call from Plumbline telling me the electrician can't make it anymore but can come on Monday instead. I told them that won't work because I had to take off work to make this appointment, so I'd have to call them back to reschedule. I was not given a reason why he had to cancel, just that the electrician can't make it anymore. I specifically asked if the AC technician is still coming and the lady I spoke with checked and told me he will still be at our house on the 12th as scheduled. At approx. 4:45pm on the 12th I get another call from Plumbline telling me the AC technician can't make it anymore. This call came only about an hour after I confirmed the AC technician was still coming! I asked if they were seriously canceling both the electric work and AC in the same day, and the women said something about the electrician having an emergency (why didn't the first lady tell me there was an emergency then?). So, to summarize, Plumbline cancelled on me TWICE in the same day for two different services with two different technicians. I requested that Plumbline remove our names from their list and not to call me again to reschedule as I will not use their services anymore. It is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional that they cancel on me at the last minute on TWO appointments booked a week in advance. Very unreliable. And they expect me to be able to take off work again Monday, or whatever day works for them, when they can't show up to appointments in the first place? I work full time and have to schedule appointments in advance. I wouldn't risk wasting another day sitting around waiting for them to not show up again. Terrible customer service. We have used Plumbline for years and have come to trust them. Unfortunately we likely will not be using them again. We just had a technician out to replace a $50 part. It took him one hour and they charged me $645. I know that Plumbline is a little more expensive but this has gotten to the point of outrageous. I called about the bill and tried to talk with them about how it didn't make sense due to the ease and time commitment of the job and they would not budge. This quite honestly is textbook price gauging. In a time when people are struggling in life and struggling financially, this a really tough to see. The people are pleasant and nice. They do get the job done, but the cost is usually very tough to swallow. No wonder they have the finances to output trust forward marketing media. At $500-$600 an hour, it is easy to do. I am a VIP member with Plumbline services, meaning I paid a fee in order to gain additional scheduling (e.g., Sundays), waived emergency charges, etc. I reached out to Plumbline Services for an emergency repair. They scheduled a technician and said I'd get a call back that night (Monday) during a specified sindow (7-11pm). I stayed up until 11, no call no show. I called the next morning and was promised a call back from dispatch. 3 hours later, no call. I called again, she told me they were booked out 30 days (she specifically quoted me September 1st) -- for a leak. I asked for a manager, she said one would call me back. No one called, I called again, asking for a manager to refund my VIP fees. She promised someone would call me back. I had the service performed by a competitor. read more

The commercial on TV is false advertising. There is quite a wait and the commercial states you don't have to wait days. The wait for VIP members is a week, and for non VIP members a month according to their dispatch. Annual AC Maintenance went exactly as planned. Our tech Jon Taylor arrived on time and called ahead to note his arrival. He was super personable and helped turn our ceiling fans in reverse which resulted in better cooling in our hotter rooms! His expertise very well may have saved my relationship since one of us is always too cold and one of us is always on fire! Kyle came to my house and installed a kitchen faucet and did an outstanding job. My complaint is the cost. I am a VIP member (which I'll probably cancel) and my appointment was pushed because of over scheduling, AFTER I took the whole day off to meet them. Anyway, had a kitchen faucet installed. I purchased the faucet from Lowes so I would already have it hoping to save a few bucks. Beware, a 2 1/2 hr job cost me about $750. He showed me the cost before the install so I knew what it was before the work was done. I would expect that if I had to buy the faucet from them, but not for an install only. I guess somebody has to pay for the fancy trucks, uniforms, and tv commercials. Kyle did a great job, as I mentioned, but the cost was way high as far as I'm concerned. Ok, this is long story of a company that wanted to charge me the book price of $700 to change out a sprinkle value. Even after I called the manager and had a discussion about the price, he said that was the "standard book price". I gave them my standard answer on out of my book of pricing, NO. Oh, by the way I'm a VIP member after having more than $2,000 in electrical work done by Plumbline earlier in the year. I see the TV ads about 100% customer satisfaction, I don't think so on this interaction. The Plumbline team that came out to provide the estimate also said my VIP status had expired, but when I called in to check, it had not expired. The results ended we me going to Home Advisor and hooking up with GM Earthscaping, I sent them a photo of what I needed. They provided a firm price which was 50% less than the Plumbline Services estimate. They showed up, did the repair, sent me a photo of the work and an online invoice for exactly what was promised. Plumbline asked for $39,500 to replace "bad" pipes in our home. The tech couldn't figure out the problem after we had a backup in our basement so he recruited a supervisor "Brett" to come look a few hours later. Brett did not look at anything. No scope, no cleanout, nothing. He did,however, determine that he needed to excavate our entire basement for the above quoted price after simply walking around in our basement for 15 minutes. The next day, a reputable plumber took a look at our situation and quickly diagnosed a faulty studor vent and improper placement as the culprit. It cost us $500 and is perfectly operable. This company said there was absolutely no evidence of corroded pipes. Watch out..these people are happy to take your life savings to fix a problem that doesn't exist. read more

Scheduled an appointment using their online scheduling tool on their website. I was given an arrival window of 8-5p, which I thought was pretty ridiculous, but since it was a week away I figured their customer service would call and narrow down the window as the appointment approached. I got no communication at all. On the day of the appointment, I called and spoke to Vanessa who informed me that my appointment had been moved to the following day. I complained about the lack of communication, she said she would speak to a manager and get back to me. I waited two more hours and heard nothing from her. I called back and canceled figuring I'd rather do business with a more reputable company. Awful experience , poor customer service even after I called. read more

Very responsive initially. The electrician who came out, Austin, was diligent and kind. The work we needed done was an electrical panel upgrade from 200A to 320A in order to power multiple new additions to the home (electric car, outdoor heaters, water pumps, etc). Given the complexity of the contract, we had to work with our electric company (Xcel) to make sure the panel could be upgraded. They said it should be good to go for a simple disconnect of the old panel and reconnect to the new panel after installation. After waiting months to get the project started, Plumbline canceled back-to-back appointments. Then this morning they called and said they couldn't do the project, despite having reassured me that this project wouldn't be a problem. Now I'm left starting from scratch with a new electrician months into this project. I had high hopes with the good first impression, but now they've lost my future business. read more

As others have pointed out, this place is outrageously priced compared to other local contractors. We needed a full sewer line replacement and I received 8 bids/estimates to ensure I was not overpaying. Most bids ranged in the $18-$20k range. Plumbline's bid was $33k - about $13,000 more than any others for the exact same service. I would strongly suggest avoiding them at all "costs." read more

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and my appointmentment was confirmed between 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Friday. I called the day before the appointment to make sure because I never got an email confirmation or text. The person answering the phone confirmed my appointment. The day of the appointment, I waited for 5 hours and no one showed up. I called and they said that my appointment was actually between 1 - 5 pm, but they weren't sure they were going to be able to make it. Terrible!!!! I called a different plumber and they were able to get me on the schedule right away. read more

The single star is because the tech was polite and apologetic...but: Nothing went right when I called Plumbline, and while the plumber was apologetic, the company did nothing to fix the issues. On my initial call there was a three day wait for an appointment. I fully described the issue and specified that I thought the issue was the mainline with the reasons why. I rearranged my schedule to be available for the appointment, and sat at home waiting. They called a few minutes before my appointment to say they were going to have to reschedule for the following week because their day had been just crazy. I expressed my displeasure, and the dispatcher said he would work on rearranging. I was going on 4 days of not being able to run sinks, do laundry, run the dishwasher, shower for more than a few minutes at a time, and ensuring no water had run for at least an hour before flushing. An hour and a half later the dispatcher called to say he had a tech who couldn't make another appointment because the equipment he needed for that call had broken, but he wouldn't need it on my call. The tech arrived, and after I explained and he assessed, he determined it was the mainline (the reason I had given them for needing the appointment). And guess what piece of equipment was broken? The one for the mainline. The dispatcher said he didn't have anyone else to send out. They do weekend service, but they said they would charge $200 for a call that evening or the next day. They wouldn't waive the after hours charge even though they had messed up on coming at the appointed time, and said they didn't have anyone available on the weekend even though they advertise 24/7 service with no after hours charges. They said they could send someone three days later. Misleading advertising, failure to make their appointments, failure to bring the correct equipment despite clarity on what work was needed. Plumbline rarely fixes anything. They are not qualified to clear drains. I learned my lesson. Call another company. They offer a $93 or free drain clearing and call and let you know they can't do it with an additional quote for finding other problems for an exorbitant amount of money. We called Plumbline and asked to have a technician come by to connect the water line flex pipe from the Refrigerator to the copper line. The technician arrived on time took a look and told us he didn't believe he had what was needed to complete the job. He gave us an estimate (we thought) for $499. I took a look and made a suggestion, i.e. just connect the flex pipe (two female connections) to the two male connections. He attached the flex pipe connection as suggested and done! There were no parts used from his truck. Once finished he gave us a bill for the 30ish minutes of work, $499, no change to the estimate at all, we paid, what should we do. We called Plumbline and asked if the $499 was the right price for 30ish minutes of work, took about 1 week (and many calls from our side) to get a response from someone. In the end we were not given an answer as to the hourly price. We were told it all depends on how far the technician has to drive, cost of the truck, gas, insurance, etc. basically a runaround. We were offered $25 off for parts not used plus an additional $100 because we were not happy, just didn't make sense. ONE THING IS FOR SURE, WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND PLUMBLINE TO ANYONE, ON THE CONTRARY, WE WILL GIVE THEM OUR OPINION. read more
