    Updating to five stars. We had a plumbing emergency with flooding in the basement and Bluefrog was so extremely helpful. I was able to get an appointment soon. Ryan Riggs helped us out and explained things clearly and gave us our best options. It's never fun dealing with issues like this but it honestly went as smoothly as possible. We even got a stuffed blue frog for our toddler.

    Edit: Only way possible I know to respond to the owner. Your reply does not describe my service call. There was no flooded basement, no urgent emergency, and no immediate response. This was a scheduled appointment arranged a day or two in advance for a small leak at a hose connection that was being managed prior to your plumber's arrival. There were also no other marketing stickers on my water heater. The only stickers present were original manufacturer and instructional labels. Your plumber added a large Blue Frog marketing sticker without asking, and it tore and left residue when I attempted to remove it. The invoice total was $441, so describing the repair as "cheap" is not accurate. The issue remains simple and unchanged: do not place advertising on a customer's equipment without asking first. Fictionalizing an urgent emergency and reframing the situation as exceptional customer service does not address the concern raised in my review. This was not an emergency call, and the review had nothing to do with pricing or availability. It is about respect for a customer's property and taking accountability rather than attempting to shift the narrative. ---------------------------------------- Original Review: I had Blue Frog Plumbing & Drain come out to fix a simple leaking hose connection at my water heater. To be clear, this is not a water heater they installed. They were only performing a minor repair. The repair itself was completed and solved the issue, and I paid the plumber. After the plumber left, I noticed that he had placed a large, obnoxious Blue Frog Plumbing marketing sticker directly on my water heater. He did not ask for permission. He did not mention it. He did not give me the sticker and ask if I wanted it applied. He simply put it on my property without consent. I do not want ugly marketing stickers on my equipment. It looks cheap, it looks unprofessional, and frankly the giant frog logo is an eyesore. When I tried to remove the sticker, I discovered it is a very thin, low quality sticker that tears immediately when you try to peel it off. It rips into pieces and leaves residue behind, making it even more frustrating to remove. This is not about the cost of the service or whether the repair worked. This is about basic respect for a customer's property. You do not put permanent advertising on someone else's equipment without asking. Period. Even if Blue Frog Plumbing offered the lowest pricing in the area, I will never use them again. Respect for a customer's home and property should be a baseline expectation, not an afterthought.

    Brennan was just here. At 11:15 last night my disposal decided it would drip water from the cracked cylinder! Why can't this happen at 9AM during the week. He repaired that, repaired my guest sink faucet that needed a hammer replaced, had to make a run to the store for the new faucet, and was done in 3 hours. He is an excellent teacher, is upfront with all prices, and gives his opinion, and I set up an account with their company. They will be maintaining my water heater, too. Very kind and reliable.

I asked to have a repairmen sent out, thinking it would be the next day. She asked a few questions about the HVAC system, age, etc. and said, "We can't get anyone out there today but we can probably fix the problem over the phone." After assuring me that if we couldn't, she would send someone the next morning, she spent over half an hour walking me through a few checks and procedures and we got the system up and running. So something I thought was going to cost a few hundred dollars or more, cost me nothing, because she wanted to save us a very cold night and the possibility of pipes freezing. Wow! A company that shows incredible integrity and professionalism, and really seems to care about the people they serve! We had a water leak in my twelve year old 96% efficient Amana furnace and I placed a call to Davey. Dorothy was very courteous sent out her son Junior to look at what was going on. He told me he was going to condemn my furnace though there was no signs of aerial contamination. I told him I'll go out and buy two expensive meters and they both showed ZERO contamination! Ok, Junior then said the furnace would be covered under replacement warranty as the heat exchanger was cracked. He talked to the local dispatcher and they had a unit in stock. I was then told by Junior that it would cost me THIRTY FIVE HUNDRED to get the job done. I was flabbergasted at the price! This was for labor! Unbelievable! Ok it was winter and cold temps needed to be handled so I told him let's do it. Junior returned and started installing all the while informing me that it would cost me another EIGHT HUNDRED! I told him no way! Mind you, my old unit was removed and brought downtown. He called his office and they backed off on the additional eight hundred. I left Junior alone and he put together the new furnace and installed it! It was not straight, not plumbed and he left after the furnace was running. I called Dorothy and COMPLAINED! She sent Senior out and he straightened things out. The inspector came by and failed the inspection. Senior came out again and touched up all the work. Senior had to come by a third time to rewire the condensate pump... to code! That final time he came, I could tell he was PO'ed at returning and never said a darn word to me. No respect at all! Bottom line, I was ripped off to high heaven. Thirty five hundred... for the work done? Maybe they get this from other uneducated customers but the unit was under warranty, the whole installation with labor should have cost me $2000 at MOST! I found an unbelievably reputable HVAC and they have so far treated me with respect and professionalism especially when it comes to pricing and top notch customer service. Just had to share this with potential customers here in the area.

I called Lifestyle Heating after another company recommended installing a new furnace instead of attempting to repair. Lifestyle answered the phone promptly and sent Danny over in an hour. He was able to replace the blower motor but warned us about the possibility of needing to replace the furnace in the near future because it will be difficult to find parts. The two smaller companies offered a great price, this one being the better of the two, however, this one also was able to route the the exhaust through the roof instead of through the side wall, which would have included through a bathroom, which made the decision easier. They were able to come out fairly quickly, only delays were because of the snow on the roof, and the install went quickly which included removing a tank water heater and doing piping work for both water and gas. I was really impressed and very thankful for a great job. I did have an issue and the owner ended up coming out right away, even though he was getting ready to go on vacation. He was able to fix the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. I will be using them for any future needs.

The heater went out and he was freezing; trying to stay warm with extra layers, blankets and space heaters.     Needed repair on my Navien tankless combi boiler water heater (a bit of a specialty task / need). Based on my (detailed) request, I appreciated they were did schedule a consult quickly. The tech that came out (Dale), while a bit rough, almost immediately diagnosed my issue (correctly, I might add - this is after consulting with other companies (and the manufacturer) and getting a repair). The main issue was I didn't get a quote back for a week (was promised within a couple days). By that time I already had wheels in motion to have someone else to fix the issue. And, this is me being picky, is I wish he might have recommended additional maintenance to the unit - since he seemed very knowledgeable. Quick response to consult, delay in quote, which led to me to go with someone else - however, I will keep this company in mind for other needs in the future due to the knowledge of the tech.
