So last night at 2am I discovered our long time central air had kicked the bucket....no problem…read moresince every day this week it been near or at 100 degrees. So I called an A/C service who said they would be there in the morning. They never showed but they finally called at 12:40 saying maybe tomorrow. Nope! Bubye...I called a local company...not a chain but a family business...with a receptionist who asked me to describe the problem. After hearing the issue she said it's probably a capacitor that costs about 32 bucks at Ace Hardware but if we come put it on there'd be a $450 charge. So I Googled and You Tubed...how do you fix a capacitor on a Trane A/C? After watching a couple...I went to Ace and bought a new capacitor...yanked the old one off and put the new one on...with a little bit of Jerry-rigging as it was skinnier than the old one and didn't fit the bracket...and voila! Air conditioner is humming along nicely!!! Saved a lot of money! Thanks Dorothy at Davey Heating and Cooling! It's nice to have great customer service even though I never used your service. Who does that any more! Well done!

With her on the line I found a blown fuse on the units motherboard and was able to replace it (props to Home Depot for having them in stock). Bottom line, she was polite, responsive AND helped me solve the issue over the phone at no cost. I will definitely call Davey Heating and Air for all my HVAC needs in the future.

Water heater doctor came in and replaced it with an identical water heater. Part of why we chose them was that they preferred that brand (Bradford White). Installed competently with lots of double checking and explanations of everything. They resisted *my* suggestions for upselling, explaining why that was not needed. Our new heater now makes the water hotter, for a lower setting on the gas. Fantastic experience, we are very happy!

His expertise noticed a couple of installation errors , one of them was related to the control transformer. He was able to fix and completely remove the failing transformer and utilize the furness control panel instead, nice clean solution as the manufacture intended. The other installation error was causing condensation to not exit correctly and was leaking water that was rusting the front wall pan. I was unaware of this and was looking at having to replace a 4 year old furness if the rusting was to proceed or had already damaged the integrity of the wall. Adam checked the wall out and concluded that the heating element integrity was still good and the wall had not been compromised to the point of furness replacement. Without Adam's knowledge and skills I would be in a bad spot in the near future from the poor installation. I'm very pleased and happy with the outcome, thanks to Adam and do recommend JumpHVAC.

The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Moving on to the next company who can maybe do the work we hire for and not waste hours of our time and now days.

If we could give a 10 star review, we would. A month ago, Sergey from Speed plumbing came out to fix out tub faucet and our toilet that had been slowly leaking for years. He did a wonderful job. No more leaky toilet and fixed the faucet free of charge. Fast forward 3 weeks. Excel energy shows up unannounced on a Monday and says they must replace the gas meter as it is 45 years old. After they installed the new meter, they did an air pressure leak test and said they cannot turn the gas back on and we needed to call a plumber. We immediately called Sergey. He came out the next day to give a quote to replace the gas lines in our crawl space. He gave a very reasonable estimate. He and Ed started the next day. They finished in a day and a half. Called Excel to come out to turn on the gas. The person who came out said he could not turn on the gas because the gas line to the stove was not connected. Called Sergey and he came out at 7:30pm to connect the line so we wouldn't have to go the whole weekend without hot water and stove. He went above and beyond. I strongly recommend Speed Plumbing for all plumbing needs. We will definitely use them when we need any plumbing done. read more

They contact me proactively for various service and maintenance on my systems. They NEVER try to oversell me! Sergey was very professional and responsive - he got back to me when he said he would and was very communicative. I needed a bunch of different work done on a very old home and he was able to come and give insightful estimates for different scenarios, including problem solving tight spaces and weirdly done work from previous owners. I ended up just deciding to replace a water main valve and adding a pressure regulator because I wasn't ready to do more work yet, and Sergey did the work very thoroughly. It turned out to be a bigger job because of the old pipes, and he had to dig out under the foundation to replace one of the pipes, but he worked hard and stayed late to make sure he could get the water back on that evening. Really appreciate his expertise, thoroughness, and fair pricing. read more

Our shower on our brand new RV broke and we were so bummed as we had a trip planned the next day. We called Mario Pro Service to see if it was possible to get someone to come out the same day. Beware, the first response you get from this business will be chatbot slop that could say anything + is not accurate to the business. They will then subsequently not bother to read the prior communications. Speed Plumbing should consider not having chatbots pretending to be their agents when they provide misleading and inaccurate responses. Thanks. read more
