I hired easy repair to replace a kitchen faucet. The technician who came out was convinced that the current faucet had been installed into the butcher block countertop before the countertop was installed. I asked him multiple times to please remove the garbage disposal so he would have additional room to work in the close confines, underneath the sink. He refused this easy and necessary step. He stated after about an hour that he could not remove the existing faucet and I should call a countertop company to remove the butcher block counter so I could replace the faucet. This would've been a very expensive and unnecessary step. Within minutes of the technician leaving I had spoken to the previous homeowner via text. I had just purchased this loft residence. The homeowner told me he had installed the current faucet himself without incident. I immediately text this info to the first tech that came out, but he did not come back, even though he had left moments before. Robert with easy repair did call me and try to get a second Technician out but that tech made little effort to get in touch with me. I can't say if they would have finished the work but they did charge me $125 for a visit where I had more insight than this "professiona" they sent. The initial tech who came out, had very little experience and could not or would not remove the existing faucet. I believe he was a novice with little oversight. Keep this in mind when hiring this company. While they were polite, the work wasn't done. read more

I would like to highly recommend EZ Repair based on my recent experience with their services. On New Year's Eve, I contacted EZ Repair regarding a leak in my laundry room. They responded immediately and discovered that the issue was caused by my upstairs neighbor's water heater. They replaced the water heater that same day, which stopped the leak right away. They also provided dehumidifiers to help prevent further damage. The following Monday, EZ Repair returned and completed all necessary repairs to the water-damaged area in my laundry room. The work was completed in one day and was done extremely well. I later asked them to inspect my own water heater. Although it is older, they were honest and explained that it was still working perfectly and did not need to be replaced. During that visit, they noticed I had a water purifier that I was unaware of. This company started a drain repair but was unable to find and remove the obstruction. I had to call another company the next day and within 2 hours the line was cleared. I guess EZ Repair tried hard but were not able to get the job done. I paid them in full. read more

Update: I was not made aware of the problems, I was told you fired the drywall crew for not showing up. That they were running late from a previous bathroom remodel and not showing up and not communicating was inexcusable. You never mentioned anything else. That still doesn't explain why you scheduled a second appointment and still didn't show up for that one. Original: Sam was great, a 5 star service. He installed a ducted exhaust fan for a darkroom. It was not a typical install. Price was a bit high, but it was on par with the other estimates I got. The reason for not leaving a 5 star review: I hired them to do drywall repair too, but they never did the job. The drywall crew showed up a half hour after the appointment window to see what they needed supply wise. Said they were running a bit behind and they'd run to a hardware store and be back shortly, they never came back. Later in the day I started getting messages asking for payment for the drywall repair. I called to see what happened and get rescheduled. I think I spoke with the owner, he apologized profusely and said they'd get a crew out to do the work. Didn't give me a time, just that they'd get back to me. I get a text message about a scheduled appointment that I wasn't told about, I figured fine as long as they show up, but they never showed up. And I once again started getting messages to pay for a job they never did. I wound up hiring a different company to do the drywall repair. Sam was amazing, he does plumbing and other handyman projects, but whoever they have on their drywall crew are not reliable. read more

The assumption is that it's depending on what they do. The tech showed up, took a look and said no problem, $475 standard price! He was there, I needed to get it done, so I paid it. Worst service provider. i confirmed the charge with business owner before the service guy got home for work. the business owner confirmed the charge. i wasnt quoted the price for the service after the diagnosis, before the fix was done and was asked to pay 4 times the amount i was confirmed earlier. the owner is really rude and charges me amount even after he accepted that it was his and his service guy's mistake. he is rude and hanged up the call while i was still talking and blames me that i was trying to get the service for cheaper price or skip the payment altogether. read more
