Response time is good. We had them come out to perform main drain cleanouts at two different locations. Both technicians came back with the exact same story. They stated that while cleaning the drains, they hit a hard spot that they were unable to get through. Both recommended having a supervisor come out with a camera to inspect the issue. Both technicians emphasized that this needed to be done today and quoted a price of $299 for the camera inspection. Once they were told NO, both technicians stepped outside and said they were going to call their supervisor. After speaking with the supervisor, the price suddenly dropped to $199 at the first location if we scheduled the service that same day. At the second location, we were given the same sales pitch, but they were willing to perform the camera inspection for $99 if booked for the same day. I find it concerning that both technicians presented the exact same situation, pushed the urgency of having the work completed that day, and then offered significantly reduced pricing once we declined. The fact that the pricing was different at each location also raises questions. This comes across as a sales tactic rather than a genuine recommendation based on the condition of the drains. I think we need to take a closer look at how these recommendations are being made and whether customers are being pressured into additional services they may not need. read more

I had this company snake a drain last year and was impressed with them. However, I contacted them to snake another drain recently and was told it was so clogged that it couldn't be snaked. I was told I needed to pay for his supervisor to do a $300 scope to diagnose the problem. The supervisor told me that based on what he could see in the scope, I needed to replace the pipe which would cost me $7800 and I shouldn't use any water until it was replaced. Turns out they both tried to take advantage of me. I got a second opinion and was told that there was no reason the pipe couldn't be snaked as it wasn't very clogged and that it just needs a good cleaning. I was told that it definitely doesn't need to be replaced. They also said it's not an emergency and I can use the water until it is cleaned. I am beyond disappointed that this company tried to scare me into a $7800 project for no reason. Not only was it not necessary, but making me think I couldn't use any water in the meantime. I would think twice if you are considering using this company and DO NOT proceed with any expensive repairs until you get a second opinion. read more

TLDR; Avoid at all costs or it will cost you dearly. I called them to clear the main sewer line at my new place. The kid they sent spent about 20 minutes trying to clear the blockage. He said we needed a sewer scope and his boss happened to be just down the road. They scoped the line and showed me a picture of just what looked like toilet paper blockage. The salesman, sorry I mean "plumber" said they would haven to tear up my basement and replace a pipe and quoted around 7k. He stated that would be the only way we could get water running and it would take about three days and it may cost more if they find other problems. Which I am sure they would have. He was sure to mention they offered financing which was another red flag. Dealing with Justin was like dealing with a used car salesman, and after dealing with these guys I feel like used car salesmen get a bad rap. When I stated I couldn't afford the price they quoted he kept leaving to call his manager and get a cheaper quote. At the end of his visit when I told him I would be doing my due diligence and getting other quotes he asked if there was anything he could do so they could start the work today. I declined and spoke to Joe from Honest Plumbing who is amazing and he recommend Colorado Sewer service. I took his recommendation and they clear the 7k plus block in 30 minutes for 1/50th of the 7k quote. Apparently the folks from Homeservice plumbing were not even using the right tools for the job. I could understand if they messed up initially but it seems to me that they did it intentionally to upsell the sewer scope and then a massive open-ended price tag on unknown work. Honestly, I feel like they were using a coordinated effort to rip me off and disrupt my life and finances to sell unnecessary repairs for their willful incompetence or just plain dishonest practice. My honest recommendation is to avoid at all cost unless you like spending money for nothing. read more

I called on a Sunday afternoon about toilets being clogged and they were extremely responsive. They got out within a few hours and worked on troubleshooting the problem. We are potty training our twins and it turns out that too much toilet paper was being flushed every 30 minutes. I asked if I could write them a check and they told me that there was no charge since they didn't up snaking the drain. Revised review - but not much better. I wrote a review Oct 16, 2025 ... take a look. Clark (owner?) called me to make amends. He stood by his workers but did refund my cost for the snaking. I told him that wasn't necessary, as the guy did his job, but he insisted. Very nice ... BUT, the fact remains the same that the guy who came out with the camera told me I had a broken drain pipe and I needed to replace it to the tune of (lucky for me they had an opening and would discount the cost) $6K. The camera guy hung around REALLY trying to get me to sign on that dotted line. I said no. He never showed me the camera footage. Never tried my washer to see is there was still water backing up, etc. I called another plumber and he scoped and everything looked clear/clean and NO broken drain pipe. So, while HSP did refund my money - which was unnecessary - it still remains that had I not been thinking - I would have had a huge, very costly project on my hands unnecessarily. I was contacted twice to revise this review. Just be careful. Get a second opinion ... and maybe a third. And think about it. read more

Had a drain unclogged three months later had to have it unclogged again covered under warranty.... This seemed to really upset the the guy that came out. He insisted I needed to spend 400 for the hydro jet. When I said no to that he was very pushy about and wouldn't let it go got very upset I wouldn't do it. He threatened that he would take away the year warranty lol not the way warranties work!
