TLDR; Avoid at all costs or it will cost you dearly. I called them to clear the main sewer line at my new place. The kid they sent spent about 20 minutes trying to clear the blockage. He said we needed a sewer scope and his boss happened to be just down the road. They scoped the line and showed me a picture of just what looked like toilet paper blockage. The salesman, sorry I mean "plumber" said they would haven to tear up my basement and replace a pipe and quoted around 7k. He stated that would be the only way we could get water running and it would take about three days and it may cost more if they find other problems. Which I am sure they would have. He was sure to mention they offered financing which was another red flag. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dealing with Justin was like dealing with a used car salesman, and after dealing with these guys I feel like used car salesmen get a bad rap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I stated I couldn't afford the price they quoted he kept leaving to call his manager and get a cheaper quote. At the end of his visit when I told him I would be doing my due diligence and getting other quotes he asked if there was anything he could do so they could start the work today. I declined and spoke to Joe from Honest Plumbing who is amazing and he recommend Colorado Sewer service. I took his recommendation and they clear the 7k plus block in 30 minutes for 1/50th of the 7k quote. Apparently the folks from Homeservice plumbing were not even using the right tools for the job. I could understand if they messed up initially but it seems to me that they did it intentionally to upsell the sewer scope and then a massive open-ended price tag on unknown work. Honestly, I feel like they were using a coordinated effort to rip me off and disrupt my life and finances to sell unnecessary repairs for their willful incompetence or just plain dishonest practice. My honest recommendation is to avoid at all cost unless you like spending money for nothing. read more

Ive had success with toliet repairs. I didn't hesitate to contact them for a water heater install. This company desires to have a 5 star rating that was not my experience with my water heater install. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My advice is to ask a lot of questions before hiring any plumbing company.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ask who will actually be doing the work, whether they are licensed plumbers or working under a licensed plumber, how emergency callbacks are handled, what happens if your installation isn't completed the first day, will they pull your plimber off your job to go.to another more urgent situation, will they discuss city permits with you and what protections they use inside your home, such as shoe covers. My experience taught me not to assume that "24-hour service" or "five-star experience" means the same thing to every company. read more

We are potty training our twins and it turns out that too much toilet paper was being flushed every 30 minutes. He stood by his workers but did refund my cost for the snaking. I told him that wasn't necessary, as the guy did his job, but he insisted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very nice ... BUT, the fact remains the same that the guy who came out with the camera told me I had a broken drain pipe and I needed to replace it to the tune of (lucky for me they had an opening and would discount the cost) $6K. The camera guy hung around REALLY trying to get me to sign on that dotted line. I said no. He never showed me the camera footage. Never tried my washer to see is there was still water backing up, etc. I called another plumber and he scoped and everything looked clear/clean and NO broken drain pipe. So, while HSP did refund my money - which was unnecessary - it still remains that had I not been thinking - I would have had a huge, very costly project on my hands unnecessarily. He insisted I needed to spend 400 for the hydro jet. When I said no to that he was very pushy about and wouldn't let it go got very upset I wouldn't do it.
