A HUGE Shout-Out to HomeService Plumbing! I just want to…read moregive a heartfelt shout-out to HomeService Plumbing, a family-owned business that truly went above and beyond for me! About two weeks before this past Sunday, 9/27, I had contacted a plumbing company I had used for several years to help with an emergency involving a flooded floor drain, drain clearing, a camera inspection, and more. Unfortunately, their prices had increased significantly, and I ultimately declined their services. That left me back at square one. When the plumbing issue came up again, I contacted HomeService Plumbing. Honestly, it was a random pick -- but I can say without hesitation that it was a really GREAT pick! I called and was able to get an appointment scheduled immediately, within a 2-3 hour window. The first technician to arrive was Brandon. He was professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I explained everything that was happening and also shared what I had already had inspected and quoted by the previous company. Brandon was upfront and straightforward with me. He answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. He didn't hesitate -- he got right to work, completed the service I requested, and then explained other options that could potentially resolve the situation. This is where I became hesitant because I realized this was a major plumbing decision that no homeowner wants to hear about. Brandon offered to have their camera technician, Luke, come out and take a closer look. I must have gone back and forth with Brandon at least 10 times before I finally agreed. Luke arrived, and once again, I was extremely impressed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what he was there to do. He provided excellent service and explained, in detail, every feasible and affordable option available to me. Luke even went the extra-extra mile by offering a one-time service that isn't typically offered. I was honestly overwhelmed with gratitude -- it literally brought tears to my eyes. I truly want to say THANK YOU to Brandon, Luke, and everyone at HomeService Plumbing. Your professionalism, kindness, honesty, and willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. There are still wonderful people in this world, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet a few of them when I really needed help. Thank you, HomeService Plumbing! -- K. Blake

When I asked him to revise the bid, he did it within minutes. Once I accepted his bid, we quickly scheduled a date. Then when he knew he would be about an hour late, he texted me to let me know. Jonathan earned 5 Stars in my opinion and I can recommend him without hesitation.

Stay Far Away from Patrick at Affordable Plumbers - Rude, Overpriced, and Completely Unprofessional…read more If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not hire Patrick at Affordable Plumbers. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with a so-called "professional." From the start, Patrick had an awful attitude. When I called to ask about service, he acted like I was bothering him. He was short, dismissive, and downright rude. He made no effort to be helpful. At that point, I knew I would never give him my business. I found another plumber who was professional, respectful, and charged a fair rate--something Patrick is clearly incapable of doing. If you're considering hiring Patrick at Affordable Plumbers, DON'T. He is rude and Unprofessional. There are so many good plumbers out there who actually value their customers--Patrick is NOT one of them. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Water all over the one side of my cabinet, down my walls, pooling into my basement. All the dirty dish water!!! I call, he comes over to fix it, blamed me for storing stuff under my sink, and bumping it ...I was shocked, and he attempted to reattach it without replacing the gasket, that clearly was either..not situated right when he tightened the PVC joint, or he didn't tighten it high enough or tight enough.. But not my fault!! People store stuff underneath their sinks!?! I pointed out he probably did and did he have to be on the lookout for his plumbing??? Now I have damage and he has a really bruised ego, because I spared no expense at this absolute insult!! Unbelievable attempt at blame shifting!!!

Unprofessional, disorganized management - Left job unfinished after weeks of no-shows and excuses…read more Review: I hired this company for an electrical project and paid for the work upfront. While the initial rough-in work was done well, the management and office communication since then has been an absolute disaster. I have been trying for three weeks to get them to finish the final trim and fixture installation: Week 1 & 2: I was repeatedly promised the technician would call me to schedule. I was completely ignored both weeks. Week 3: I finally got them to schedule a day. I received numerous text/email confirmations, took time off to be home, and nobody showed up. When I called for an update, the office admitted they never actually dispatched anyone and failed to tell me. This Week: They rescheduled the original technician for Thursday. On Wednesday, they called to say he had been in an accident and rescheduled him for Friday instead. On Friday morning, they called to cancel again, stating the technician couldn't make it due to the accident. Why did management schedule an injured employee for active field duty without checking his condition, rather than simply sending a different electrician to finish the job? My project is completely stalled, the wires are sitting exposed, and I have paid 100% upfront for labor and fixtures. I asked to speak directly with a manager to settle this, but my request was ignored. I have deep sympathy for the injured technician, but this company's administrative staff is completely incompetent, dishonest about dispatching, and uncommunicative. Avoid this company if you value your time.
