Our basement drain began backing up last night a bath and a dishwasher cycle. Saw the great reviews on yelp for Jake the Snake and called them this morning. Duane arrived early, he's very courteous and explained everything as he went along. Dwayne worked very hard and completed the job in about two hours. We are so happy with the work the quality and the price. We will definitely return for our future needs. read more

Jake the snake is great if you need something snaked. Full stop. The tech was prompt and nice. But he was able to snake. Thats it. No video inspection as advertised on their website. I have to call another company to come out and do that. So, Jake was fine if all you need is a snake. But their services seemed to be very limited. read more

I had a clogged main line, and water was backing up through my basement drain. Marty came and couldn't find a good way to put in the drain snake, so he suggested pulling out the basement toilet, which I didn't think was a good idea, but complied since he is a professional. After 10 minutes of trying to snake through the toilet, he discovered that my pipe is broken 6-10 inches in and the drain snake can't go past the broken pipe. Therefore, he was unable to fix the clog and left me with a broken pipe, which I am certain was not broken before he worked on it, since I had a professional plumber come and inspect the pipe. He still bills me the full amount with the additional toilet pull fee, which was $225. I found someone else to unclog my main line going through the basement drain, and it didn't take long at all. Now I have to find someone else to fix my broken pipe, which would run a few thousand dollars. What a terrible experience. read more

Gave 2 hr window. Called when 30 minutes out. Was quick and thorough. Let me know what the issue was. Cleaned up. Thank you, Rudy!

Prompt and affordable. I would definitely use them again. Scheduler was attentive and flexible. Technician was professional and courteous.

Shoutout to Marty at Jake the Snake Drain Cleaning for a thorough and professional job of clearing out my main sewer line after my grandson, unbeknownst to me, flushed a pair of boxer shorts down the toilet. Marty was friendly and courteous and did a very thorough job, including snaking the line several times, telling me about drain alarms, marking my existing cleanouts so that the next plumber will know the distances, and cleaning up the entire affected area. I am happy to recommend. read more

Marty showed up on time and quickly cleaned my sewer. Many thanks! Marty was very cordial and covered his shoes and the stairs.

I just moved here, and now turning on the disposal caused the adjacent sink to back up. There was also some water in the basement, behind the washing machine. I started with low expectations... I emailed Friday evening and Monday at 10am... crickets. But it WAS Friday night. I called and they found the email and Doug was here at 2. He quickly figured out where the clog was, solved the problem, made minimal mess (and cleaned it all up), tested everything, and explained how I can keep him from coming back. Inexpensive, a nice, knowledgeable guy, and quick response (after the glitch). I will say, to date, I have NEVER given a five star review! read more

I've used this company a few times over the last several years. I had Marty today, he's great. Always quick turn around time, professional, friendly and informative. I highly recommend. read more

The home inspector warned us that the main drain was so clogged, he couldn't scope it. Kevin from Jake and Snake arrive the same day I called. He worked until he was able to clear the drain all the way to the street. A true professional. A joy to work with. read more

Great service. Responded fast. Gary was very informative on the phone. Tech arrived on time. Provided great service. Very clean and protected my floors and sink. Everything done was explained in great detail. Price for service was affordable. Couldn't be happier with service. Thank you. read more

I needed a quick response to a sewer drain problem and Jake the Snake was recommended by my neighbor and they were great! Gary sent out Marty quickly and Marty worked quickly and professionally to clear and clean the lines as well as a video of the completed work! Can't recommend them enough!! And also at a very fair price!! read more

We had a clogged kitchen sink. This company got us on their schedule quickly, were on time, gave a reasonable estimate over the phone (that was accurate), and they were able to resolve the issue properly. Their technician Kevin was courteous, professional, and fixed a clog that was quite a distance downstream. It's nice to deal with an honest and fair company. Just a note: We initially called a couple other companies like Rotorooter and Applewood heating and plumbing. Both were overpriced and wouldn't even give a quote until they were onsite. Then the cost was $500+ (I guess they must think they're doctors because $500 for an hours work is just stupid). Basically, I told them to pound sand after getting over the sticker shock. Both companies have what I would consider questionable ethics and seem to count on people who are desperate for a repair and will pay because they're in a pinch. read more

Kevin did an excellent job. Did not give up and used several methods to help with our problem. Would use him again in a second. Great value! read more

My husband noticed an issue with a pipe in the basement and was concerned about our mainline. I sent a text on a Friday afternoon and received a text back about 10 minutes later. We had a technician out the next morning. He texted before coming over, was on time, and super friendly. Would definitely use them again! read more

I would recommend Jake The Snake to all. Ed showed up on time and did a fantastic job of unclogging my drain, in a matter of 15 minutes or less..checked all of my pipes under the sink for any leaks. Left everything as clean as it was..done in about 30 minutes and the cost was very fair. Very professional and friendly. I will always use this business when needed. Thanks Ed. read more

I had a clogged sink drain. I called my go to plumber and he wasn't able to clear it with a 25 foot snake. So I started calling around other plumbers. Jake the Snake was the most reasonable price and they were able to come same-day so I went with them.  Charlie was great. He was very nice and knowledgeable and did a quality job. He needed to use as special drop head leader as I have old plumbing with lots of drops and turns.  He provided me with lots of tips as to how to keep the drains clear. I would definitely use these guys again. read more

Jake the Snake provided excellent service at our home recently when our kitchen and laundry room drain was clogged. They were easy to reach, and we were able to schedule a repairman promptly. He was very courteous and professional. We would definitely call them again should a similar problem arise. read more

Had a bad clog in my main line, toilets kept backing up and wasn't able to run my dishwasher or washing machine. Another plumber came out three times and was not successful in getting the clog out while charging me almost $1000 to attempt to remove the blockage and run a camera to identify a solution (solution would have been to replace the line and dig up my sewer btw). Still had a clogged line. The guys at Jake's came out next day and were able to successfully remove the clog and run the camera so we know the line is clear. I cannot thank these guys enough for fixing this for me to avoid digging up my entire line. Their prices were super reasonable in comparison to the other plumber as well. 12/10 recommend and will always call them first if any additional issues arise. read more

We had a main line back up. Had another company come out and told us our line was blocked and they could not clear and they were going to charge us over $6000 to unblock by digging up our yard, etc. We wanted a second opinion and we are so glad we were referred to Jake the Snake sewer. They came out the morning we called and cleared the line. We asked them to do the camera as well and they said the pipe was fine and just needed annual maintenance. The technicians were polite, on time and knew their stuff. They were great and we plan to use them every year now. read more

I have known Ken since way before he did drains and I did real estate. (I'm an Associate Broker with Modern Real Estate in Arvada) He has always been a great guy. Honest, punctual, contentious, and just someone you would be proud to call a friend. I have used his company in my own home and at several transaction properties. He is my go to guy. I don't have another sewer drain line company in my contacts. Ken and Jake the Snake is the only one, and the only one I have ever needed. read more

My main cleanout line was clogged. So i called these guys and they offered to come out the same day, but i opted for next day. They text 30 minutes prior to arrival and were dead smack in the middle of the service window that they set my appointment for. Anyways, very nice guy who got to work right away. I had a severe block from tree roots that took quite a while but he managed to fix it just the same. That being said it was very expensive. A lot of companies around town charge $99 any drain, with an extra $100 an hour. I paid $420 for 2 hours. Pretty astronomical. Has to be the highest around town. $210/hour to snake a drain with an auger. Though he did use a camera. Quick easy company to deal with. But very expensive to the point that i won't be using them again and can't help but feel a bit had. read more

I wish I could give a better rating. While my problem was ultimately fixed (after they tried to reschedule me), the gentleman that came made an absolute mess of my home. Black stuff from the drain was all over my bathroom, my rugs, my towels, my walls, and my shower when he was done. He made no attempt to clean it. He moved my washer and dryer around, and did not replace them in their spot when he left. I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning and reorganizing. (see pictures below. Unfortunately I had already started cleaning before it hit me that I should be documenting the mess) **(Ken, the owner/manager apologized and did offer to get the carpet cleaned. We ultimately just decided on a discount). read more

My next door neighbor and I recently had Ken from Jake the Snake come out for routine drain cleanings. Ken scoped our neighbors line and only saw some minor root growth in the line and recommended having the drain cleaned next year. This saved my neighbor the fee on the drain cleaning. Ken scoped our drain and showed me the root growth in our line and recommended having the drain cleaned. He cleaned out our drain and replaced the toilet. I really appreciated Ken's honesty, how prompt we were able to schedule the service, and the reasonable fees charged for the two home up in the mountains. I'll be using Jake the Snake for future services. read more

My only toilet was clogged and the plunger was not doing the trick. I called on a Sunday morning and he cheerfully answered the phone saying he could be there in 5 hours. Amazing! I was not charged any sort of premium weekend price, and he was really quick, and so kind in a very relaxed and genuine way. Pleasantly painless process. read more

Tony with Jake the Snake drain cleaning cleared my drain line under my house 6/28/2019 which was draining slow. The rate quoted me was what I was charged when the job was finished. Tony was pleasant and very skilled and worked diligently in my cellar and at my clean outs in my yard all while it was 96 degrees outside. He also gave me some good insight on how to keep my drain line clearer in the future. No bologna with Tony doing the job ! Kim G. Wheat Ridge, CO read more

This is the second time I've used the services of Jake the Snake in the past seven years. The owner came out to snake my main drain line and scope it with a camera. He is competent, professional and also a person of integrity. He accidentally tore my screen door as he brought in some equipment but was not hesitant at all to make things right. He paid for a new screen as well as for the labor of my handyman to make the replacement. I will continue to use this company. They are good people. read more

Tony came right on time (2 hours after I called), was super friendly, explained everything to me and gave me tips on how to keep my pipes in good shape. Can't thank you enough! read more

This is the ONLY company I will use! Jake the Snake is a local guy and he is honest!! He charges more than the $99 guys, but he does way more! The $99 guys come out and try to jack up the price and rip you off! When I had a back up this is the only company who would even give me a dollar quote on the phone that went over the $99. All other companies said they would have to send a tech out to give an estimate and the window for an estimate was 2-4 hours!! Jake the Snake won't waste your time or rip you off. I totally recommend this company! read more

Honest, genuine, personable and true professionals. Jake the Snake was recommended to us after two other services attempted a repair but were unsuccessful. Ken and Tony were very polite and extremely knowledgeable. Their equipment is well cared for and they know how to use it. They have a camera scope which helped them identify the issues and explain our situation. The previous companies I used did not have this but after seeing the way Jake the Snake worked I couldn't believe we ever hired anyone else. They truly cared about making sure our situation was resolved and they were here to do it right. I HIGHLY recommend Jake the Snake. read more

After having a handyman and 2 plumbing companies try to diagnose and fix a sewer line problem without success, Ken and his colleague were able to diagnose the problem, fix it and camera the line to make sure there were no other problems. One of the plumbing companies was throwing around estimates of $3-$4000. Ken was able to get everything done and charge me a little over $400. I will definitely be calling on them again. I have had Jake The Snake plumbing service come out to my house two times to do a routine snaking of my main sewer line. Ken, the owner, came out the first time and was extremely friendly. I was very pleased with my experience with him. About a year and half later, Charlie, Ken's nephew, came out to snake the line again. I had a bad sewer backup a couple of years back so I make sure to routinely snake my main line from time to time to avoid that happening again. I was extremely pleased with Charlie. He was honest, friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave me some tips on how to avoid costly plumbing repairs. And even went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I have dealt with numerous plumbers who try to rip you off and charge ridiculous prices. I highly recommend this family owned business because they are great guys and way more economical than most plumbing companies. read more

I trusted jake the snake for a few years but then things changed. He became belligerent to my wife and blamed problems on the property. Clean, professional and reasonable. Jake was recommended by a friend. Gave them a call and Tony showed up. He was very professional, covered every floor between the entrance and the work area.
