Plenty of start-ups in one building and I can see why. Plenty of conference rooms to use for meetings and lots of snacks at the front reception =) The team meetings are productive here. I went to the cafeteria once and I went cereal crazy there.....just kept eating cereal =)

    Burritos, of course.

Today is the Tech Plug and Play Expo, where the 128+ companies in our building get to show off to potential investors. As a part of the expo, Arlis & Erin threw a very nice lunch today with good prime rib, chicken, fresh veggies, salad, and the works. Our team popped down for lunch and really enjoyed the setting. It is also refreshing to see potential investors instead of just hearing the news say the sky is falling. . .

This review is for the Plug & Play Cafe on the 2nd floor. Chorizo burger was yum, but a bit too messy to eat and talk without making a mess. Cafe is open 11:30am-2pm, cafe counter in the eating area is open 8am-5pm. The PnP Cafe WiFi requires a password so no free WiFi for work or last minute demos. Feels like a cross between a corporate silicon valley cafeteria and a university cafeteria. Nice large outdoor deck for events or for those wanting fresh air.

I came here for a Japanese event and I thought it was a great place except there is no vending machines and the food area close early.

Birthday girl had a great time exploring, playing and eating. The team were so easy to work with from the email correspondence on my Cinnamoroll themed table vision to day of set up. The staff were super quick & accommodating when they were assisting me with the set up. They helped me string up and put a HBD banner and set up my little one's high chair and way more like help bring stuff in, stock the drink fridge, set out the pastries, etc. They just knew what to do & did it straight away. I was amazed by the speed and professionalism! If only I had this level of set up at every birthday party. Barely any dictation or answering questions was needed. What a hugeeee lift off the mental load! There's a dedicated drink fridge in front of the register that kept our drinks chilled and easy for guests to grab. The food table is nice and long so it held a lot of food & we had A LOTT of food. We opted for the photo package too which was nice because usually being the host means you're too busy to take photos and get photos taken of your family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your little one's special event! I only wish that this place was bigger so that we could invite more friends to our event. However, being smaller means more intimate events and those who are invited should feel super blessed and lucky to have made the cut!

I calmly told her that "If you criticize my clean up, you have to clean it for me." My polite way to ask her to mind her own business. She went berserk and told me off to the studio guy E, accusing me of being rude while she was the one who crossed my boundary. Being a poor mediator, the guy sided with her without investigating. That was because he spied on my clean up in the past too, which was uncool! It made me uneased. I felt picked on. His behavior of one-sidedly consoling the bully, instead of remaining neutral was off putting. There's a constitutional right of "freedom of movement " that no one shall obstruct your free choice. I was glad I stood up for myself. Clay, no matter how careful you are with, will be inevitably left a few traces in the sink, and it is not a big deal. Everyone does it and everyone has his/her way of cleaning. No need to nitpick and be pathetic. To be bullied and snitched by someone who thinks she has the right to tell others what to do is disheartening. Pottery making shall be a peaceful time to create without being disturbed. To instruct people what to do as if acting as a social warrior puts a damper on freedom and creativity. They should put a sign next to the sink, that reads, "Please mind your own business when cleaning, as people like to be left alone." The entire community center is funded by tax payers' dollars, government-operated meaning it's run differently than privately-owned ones, and is more authoritarian in my opinion. As a paying customer, I'd like to access to my creative outlet without being disturbed yet my experience was tarnished by busybody commie control freak and a biased worker. I don't meddle with other's business and others should not meddle with mine. I also found some of their instructors controlling. They need to respect personal autonomy. Clean up is a very personal thing. If everyone does exactly the same thing, they can move to North Korea. It was a dissapointing experience. Move on to other options for my creative pursuit.

We came by on a Wednesday night and enjoyed some delicious cocktails along with amazing service. Not only did the bartenders help guests sitting at the bar, but they walked around checking on everyone in the lounge seating, and showed that they cared about the customer experience. They messed up on the first pair of drinks we ordered, but comped our second set of cocktails which they made ten times better. We really appreciated this. Adding to our lovely evening, the live music created just the right vibe. Mike Annuzzi, who plays here weekly, showcased some incredible talent on the guitar and vocals, performing great tunes including a jazzy rendition of Michael Jackson's Human Nature, Fly Me to the Moon, as well as some Richard Marx, Now and Forever. Sometimes we take good music for granted, but I don't want to forget the simple moments that create smiles. I would never thought this historical building being used for many memorable events. It's located all in the way in the back of the park, opposite of Triton Museum. My GPS app took me around the block 3 times and I finally decided to walk. She also rented a nearby building Santa Clara Players for additional restrooms. Only thoughtful event organizer would think ahead of people when they have to go. Just by walking around, Jamison Brown House has so many artistic elements for photography projects. Like posing a bride or graduate on the porch with the railing. Or, bride and groom holding hands walking down the wooden stairs. Oh, better yet, have kids looking through the beveled glass window with curious expression. She linked me to her favorite and vetted vendors on multiple occasions which saved me so much time and hassle. She's extremely generous with her time and services (even too much!
