Sushie and her team were absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the very beginning, she was organized, responsive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. She answered every question I had over the months of planning and constantly thought of details I would have completely overlooked on my own. No matter how small the concern or question was, she was always there to help and made the entire process feel so much less stressful. One of the best things about working with Sushie was her amazing network of trusted vendors. Every vendor she recommended was professional, talented, reliable, and truly wonderful to work with. It made such a huge difference knowing we could fully trust the people she connected us with, and everything came together beautifully because of it. On the wedding day itself, everything went so smoothly and seamlessly thanks to her and her team. Every transition, every detail, and every timeline cue was handled so effortlessly behind the scenes that we were actually able to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day. We never had to worry about what was happening next because Sushie had everything completely under control. So many of our guests complimented how smooth, organized, and well-run the entire event was, and multiple people told us it was one of the most seamless weddings they had attended. Sushie genuinely cares about her clients and puts so much heart into what she does. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make everything flow perfectly made our wedding day better than we could have imagined. We are so grateful for all of her hard work and truly could not have done it without her and her amazing team.

Hiring Sushie was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was incredibly efficient, quick to respond, and genuinely funny, which made the entire process feel lighter and way less stressful. She helped us save money without sacrificing quality, always offering smart, reasonable solutions and alternatives. When we decided to pivot from a 100-guest wedding to an intimate 8-guest ceremony, she handled the transition seamlessly and never made it feel overwhelming or like a "downgrade." In fact, she helped make it feel intentional and special. I struggled with serious decision paralysis, and she guided me through every choice with patience and clarity, especially when it came to florals and design. She helped select florals that fit our vision and budget perfectly, designed our invitations, and ensured every detail was cohesive. On the day of the wedding, everything was completely ready to go. I didn't have to think about a single logistical detail. She even came to the ceremony to support us, even though she didn't have to, which meant more than she probably knows. Professional, creative, calm under pressure, and truly invested. I cannot recommend her enough.

Our experience with Sushie and the Menage a Trois team was exemplary! Their support with the planning of events, run of show, inventory lists, vendors, as well as decor was extremely helpful for our special day. She had running lists of to dos for us to knock out ad the day got closer which was great for us to manage. Additionally she accompanied us on our venue walk through and answered all our questions. For our tea ceremony, she even let us borrow her decor! She had a great list of vendors for chair rentals and DJs which we utilized. We especially liked how easy it was to communicate with her through texting (she replies so fast), and how she was extremely generous with her time and resources without upcharging us for things. On the day of, Sushie coordinated the ceremony, dinner, and dances with immense enthusiasm. Her assistant even helped with bustling the dress (which was very finicky)!She truly was the first one there and last one out, taking care of everything and making sure we had nothing to worry about. She and her team truly made our wedding day very very special! We cannot recommend Sushie and her team enough!

I was pretty sure that I needed a coordinator and I was right! Sushie has exceeded our expectations and we are truly grateful for her and her team in making our wedding day beautiful and seamless. Sushie's cheerful attitude through the whole process and dedication to keeping us in our budget was what made this all a pleasant experience. Sushie catered to our schedule and kept us on time and checked in with our action items. We ended up wanting to do a lot of DIY and felt with Sushie guidance and back up plans, everything fell into place. The things that mattered to us most we could spend the most time and Sushie took care of the rest. It felt nice bouncing ideas off of her and getting that second opinion. Her vendor recommendations were all AMAZING so definitely consider them! She gives her honest opinions and makes sure that the things that matter to you happens. Ménage a Trois also did our flowers and I was so happy with the end result. Sushie took our vision board and created something budget-friendly and beautiful! My biggest advice for all future brides is trust yourself, your fiancé, and your coordinator. It's been a year since we got married, and re-watching our wedding video brought back all the amazing memories. None of it would've been possible without Sushie and her team. From start to finish, she made us feel like absolute celebrities and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. She even helped us with our fine details of our traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony. I still remember her telling us, "The day's gonna fly by, so soak it all in", and she was right! But thanks to her, we really got to enjoy every moment. Any hiccups that happened throughout the day, Sushie and her team was there to fix it making the day go by smoothly without us even realizing. 110% Recommend Menage A Trois SJ! We are beyond thankful to the Menage A Trois SJ team for making our wedding day so smooth and unforgettable. They truly went above and beyond--even accommodating our last-minute customization requests with care and professionalism. One big plus is that the team speaks both Vietnamese and English, which made communication so much easier for us and for my family members who came from Vietnam just for this event. The DJ, bartender, and dessert vendors they recommended were all fantastic--every detail was spot on! Their coordination with all our vendors was seamless-- and that's thanks to their top-notch management. It wasn't just us who noticed their amazing work--our guests even shared stories of how the team helped them throughout the evening, which warmed our hearts. If you're looking for a thoughtful, reliable, bilingual, and experienced wedding coordinator, Menage A Trois SJ is the one. We couldn't have done it without them!

Sushie and her team are fantastic and we highly recommend them. Here are some examples of Sushie being awesome: - A month after we began planning our decor, I had an epiphany and did a 180 on what the space should look like. Sushie quickly pivoted and helped us redesign the entire vibe and we loved how it all came together - The week of the wedding, I suddenly decided that we needed cutouts of our faces (and our cat) for the wedding booth. Sushie was able to make this happen last minute and it was such a hit! - When we ran the crazy idea of flying a DJ from out of state by Sushie, she assured us that it was doable and then coordinate equipment rentals between our DJ and the equipment DJ to make sure everything would go smoothly - After floating a "photo wall" idea by Sushie, I got too overwhelmed by work and told her to forget it because I didn't have time to find photos. Sushie coordinated with my husband to surprise me on the day of and it was so sweet For more info, I started a new job around the time we started seriously wedding planning so Sushie was absolutely essential. We interviewed multiple planners, but decided to go with Sushie because she was opinionated and we got the vibe that she would helped us make good decisions. To be honest, there were were a few times when we were unsure about Sushie's recommendations, but now looking back, the small regrets we have about the wedding day were things where we didn't listen to Sushie. In conclusion: work with Sushie for your wedding and you will not regret it!

Sushie is absolutely amazing. Our wedding was prettier than any Pinterest picture. She understood our vision and ran with it. She made our wedding absolutely magical. I joked that I wish I had a Sushie for every day life because she anticipates what you need help with and just does it. And? She does it to the quality that I would or sometimes even better. When we first met with Sushie, we said we wanted to feel like guests at our wedding. We did! We both thoroughly enjoyed the day and night. Aime (her assistant) is equally amazing. They made us feel taken care of and just allowed us to enjoy our guests and party. Also, ALL of the vendors LOVE Sushie and love working with her. They throw in extras and go above and beyond for her. We already miss working with Sushie so much that we're thinking of parties we could throw to use her services again (I'm not making that up!).

Believe me, you will want a wedding planner. Sushie and her team stand far above the rest in every measurable way. You'll be so thankful you booked the legendary Menage A Trois San Jose. --- Communication Sushie and her team are phenomenal communicators. Most planners get back to you within a day or two -- Sushie replies within hours, often minutes, sometimes even seconds! When my wife or I messaged her, we'd see the typing bubbles instantly. On multiple occasions, she not only responded fast but already had the answers we needed. The longest she's ever taken to reply was just a few hours -- and that was when she was on vacation! --- Resources Like many planners, Sushie has amazing vendor and venue connections, but what truly sets her apart is how beloved she is by them. More than once, vendors told us she's their #1 choice to work with. That speaks volumes about her professionalism, integrity, and ability to make every collaboration seamless. True story: a venue we were considering already had Sushie as their preferred planner. Once they knew we were booking through her, they became far more accommodating. I even got my favorite beer -- which wasn't on their menu -- added to the list thanks to some Sushie magic! --- Vision Sushie has an incredible eye for beauty and detail. There were times my wife and I couldn't visualize what she was describing, but when the day came, we were absolutely blown away. The décor was stunning -- photos don't do it justice! Sushie knows what she's doing. Don't question her vision -- trust her process. She's planned a surprise prom-themed birthday, a proposal, an engagement party, and our wedding. Every single one was executed beautifully. Her ability to transform a space into a work of art while keeping your vision intact is unmatched. --- Organization This might be the best part about working with Sushie. She handled all the heavy lifting. We just made payments on time and showed up to meetings. Vendor questions? Directed to her. Stress? None. She kept us on track, on budget, and always knew what came next. When a last-minute issue came up (our welcome sign had to be reprinted four times!), we didn't even know until after the wedding -- because she handled it all behind the scenes. My wife and I kept asking, "Why aren't we stressed?" Everyone warned us wedding planning would be chaotic, but with Sushie it was calm, organized, and enjoyable. Our only stress was seating arrangements! Everything else was smooth and handled. Even when we changed our minds last minute, she adapted quickly and made it happen. We actually enjoyed wedding planning -- something few couples can say. --- Execution The wedding day was flawless. If anything went wrong, we never knew. Ty Sushie for helping my seating chart vision come to life!

Where do I start with how amazing of a team Menage is? I learned about Team Menage from my bestfriend's wedding. I loved witnessing how easy it was to work with them as well as how smooth everything flowed throughout my bestfriend's wedding day. Fast forward to a year later, I reached out to Sushie, the big brains of Menage, to help my now husband and I plan our big day. Any idea, question, comment, or concern I voiced to Sushie was always responded to in a very quick manner. I never felt like I was waiting on Sushie, I think I kept her waiting with my indecisiveness which she was extremely patient with. I felt like I built a bond with Sushie over the course of our wedding planning that it made it feel easy to reach out to her. She always kept in mind our budget, details we wanted, and a lot of back-end paperwork that I never wanted to worry about. On top of that, she's pretty funny. I want to give a big shout out to Jessica, the day-of coordinator for our wedding. Jessica is a part of team Menage and was assigned to our wedding day. Jessica was very kind, patient, sweet, and punctual. I 100000% think that our wedding day went so smoothly because the back end planning with Sushie as well as Jessica graciously handling our timeline. If there were any stressors I was feeling nearing the time of event, Jessica was on it to ensure that things were going to run smoothly. Although we had a coordinator (not apart of Menage) included in our venue package, I trusted Jessica more than anyone on the day of our wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. She worked so hard for us that our wedding party even noticed and acknowledged how great she was, thank you so much Jessica!!! Special shout out to Aime and Vanessa. These two are also an integral part of Team Menage. Aime paid attention to details such as fluffing my veil and dress before walking down the aisle and at the altar, ensuring the kids in our wedding party were good, and ensuring all details were in place throughout the wedding day in such a quick manner. We discussed a very detailed timeline with Sushie ahead of time and it's so easy to get pulled in different directions throughout your wedding day. We want to send our biggest thanks to Vanessa for keeping Michael and I on schedule, we appreciate you!! Bonus points because I get to say my wedding was ran by a team of bad ass women. If you want a bomb wedding, hire team Menage. You won't regret it

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! If you're getting married or trying to plan a party, Sushie is THE person to help you. She and the Menage a Trois team really went above and beyond and gave me the wedding of my dreams. From the moment my husband and I got engaged, we were extremely anxious about having to plan our wedding because we were so clueless about vendors and where to even begin. We hadn't met with any other wedding planner before, but after talking with Sushie a few times, we were locked in and so excited to actually begin wedding planning since we had Sushie to help us. Sushie's enthusiasm and happy attitude really made planning our wedding more fun and less stressful. She is extremely knowledgeable in everything wedding-related and has so many different ideas to incorporate into weddings. She gave us so many different vendor options and almost all of our vendors we used were actually referred by Sushie and we couldn't have been happier. Sushie was very determined to help us stay within our budget while keeping our vision for our wedding. She was very flexible with her schedule and always made time to discuss our wedding, no matter how late or early it was. She also always gave us her honest opinions while making sure we could still have the wedding we wanted. She really took my vision board google slide set and created a budget-friendly, beautiful wedding that I will remember forever. Overall, we really can't recommend Sushie and the Menage a Trois team enough and are forever grateful to have had Sushie as our wedding planner.

Where do I even begin with talking about Sushie and her team?! From the moment we first chatted with Sushie, we immediately knew Menage a Trois was the perfect fit for us. Sushie has the most magnetic personality and the biggest heart - you can tell how much she truly cares for each of her clients. Sushie is also incredibly knowledgeable with all aspects of wedding planning which put us at ease that we were in good hands (because we literally came in with little to no knowledge of where to even begin). We came in with a particular vision that Sushie and team executed absolutely perfectly. We can't thank Menage a Trois enough for helping us create one of the best days of our lives!

My mother, who is a florist, worked alongside her to bring the vision to life, and their collaboration was seamless. Christina made sure my mom felt supported and respected as both a vendor and the Mother of the Bride, which meant the world to me and us a family and truly allowed me to relax and truly enjoy the moment. Having grown up in the wedding industry, I have seen many professionals at work, and I can say with certainty that she is the BEST of the best. I am endlessly grateful for her and her team's support and expertise I couldn't have asked for a better person to lead the way!

I knew she had it all taken care of, but in "Michelle's" world it was TRAGIC. NO JOKE. My venue cancelled a month before the wedding, I was seeing DISASTER. Christina was able to get us to get out that weekend and look at new venues, dealt with the fall out of the cancelled venue, made all new adjustments for the new place, for all they did, and basically calmed me down. She was able to make time for my busy schedule with meeting with my family, husband, in-laws and more. She let me make my choices and explained why they would, or would not work well and we tried lot of places and she never got tired of me asking for more options. Believe me I wanted a lot of options. Christina and Signature events were prepared for any and everything for this wedding, I'm not too picky..... OKAY I am... and I was and THIS GIRL DID IT. I wanted Light up strung balloons and she did it, I got a horse and carriage, I had my Ice Cream Bar (Love black cherry ice cream), I had my BBQ too, I had my Drone's, I had my Special cake! When people were in the way of the pictures Christina was right there to ask them to go back to their area's, When there was a mis hap, Christina and her people made sure I knew nothing about it. They were Wedding Coordinators and Security all in one! I loved them and still do. I can never thank you enough for all you have done and have brought to my family and life. You family now chica!

We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged,…read moretechnically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True. A friend referred us to Vicky, and we didn't think twice. In hindsight, perhaps we should have done more research, but we are easygoing people. We communicated our vision, gave Vicky creative freedom, and trusted her as a professional. We weren't difficult. We asked for something simple, elegant, and meaningful. Instead, we experienced stress, embarrassment, and disappointment. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Vicky voiced concerns that our venue, Koi Palace, was too small. We reassured her we had attended several beautiful weddings there ourselves, space doesn't seem to be an issue. While she eventually said she'd make it work, her lingering doubt was noticeable. On the day of the wedding, I arrived at the venue at 5:20 PM and found our guests waiting outside due to the venue not being ready. Inside, I observed Vicky and her team still working and did not wrap up until 6:00 PM, the scheduled start time of our reception. Later, Vicky insisted she had finished by 5:30 PM and had time to mingle with our vendors, but that version didn't align with what I witnessed or what our vendors shared. The most heartbreaking part came when my wife and I stood before the photo backdrop to take pictures with our guests. Instead of our correct monogram, the backdrop displayed the letters "V & A," despite my wife's name starting with a "J". Our guests noticed and pointed it out. We were stunned. To us, this wasn't a minor mistake, it was a glaring and deeply embarrassing moment. We ended up removing the initials ourselves. Even then, we didn't lash out. We waited, hoping Vicky might follow up to ask how the day went. She didn't. Two days later, I reached out and met with Vicky in person. I calmly asked how she thought the event went. She indicated everything went great and didn't recall any issues. When I showed her a photo of the incorrect initials, she looked at it without immediately recognizing the mistake. Only after I pointed it out did she acknowledged it and offered to Photoshop the images as a solution. That moment was disheartening. It showed a lack of understanding of what her role meant to us. This wasn't about a photo, it was about how we felt in a moment that can't be edited. It was about getting the basics right on a day that only happens once. After expressing our disappointment, we asked Vicky for a 30 percent refund. Not out of spite or anger, but because we truly felt the value of the service fell short of what was promised. The emotional weight of her error left an unsavory impact throughout our evening. We didn't demand the refund on the spot. I encouraged her to sleep on it and consider our perspective, to put herself in our shoes. She appreciated how non-confrontational we were and ultimately verbally agreed to the refund via Zelle. Three days went by. Nothing. I followed up with a message. No response. Eventually, Vicky replied and asked to speak. During our conversation, she reversed course and said she no longer felt the refund was warranted. She maintained the decor had been finished well before 6:00 PM and sent us a video of guests taking their seats at 6:01 PM, which only confirmed she or her team were still at the venue at that time. Technically, she completed the decor by the start time, which falls within the contract, and while we shared our plans for pre-reception desserts and snacks, we cannot fault her for that aspect. As for the wrong initials, to her credit, Vicky was apologetic to some degree and acknowledged the error, but indicated a 30 percent refund was unrealistic. I explained again this wasn't about a backdrop, it was about my wife being displayed by the wrong name, in front of everyone, on her wedding day. It was about the emotional toll and the lapse in attention to detail, especially when Vicky had worked almost exclusively with my wife during planning. How that mistake happened is still beyond me. Candidly, Vicky admitted to mixing up my wife's name with another bride. In the end, Vicky refunded 7.5 percent, stating since we removed the initials, it didn't technically ruin the wedding. No, it didn't ruin the wedding. But it undoubtedly affected how we felt. It cast a shadow over the night. It made us feel discounted, dismissed, and ultimately shorted of a service we were counting on. I believe Vicky put effort into her work. I believe she cares to a point. But her unwillingness to follow through on her word or genuinely consider the emotional impact of her mistake left us deeply disappointed. Mistakes happen, but how you respond to them matters just as much as the service you provide.

While we were visiting all of our guests, she was not pushy and let us take our time with our guests. I have seen other wedding coordinators start hustling the bride and groom from table to table and never thought that was cool. Sophie let us do our thing (it is our wedding after all) and then told us how we had to adjust the schedule once we were done talking with all of our guests. Satvir did the mandap and florals for my wedding in San Francisco, CA…read more Satvir is an incredible decorator and has a great vision and eye for quality. As a designer myself, I had a good idea of what I wanted my wedding mandap to look like. I also knew I wanted a larger mandap, which is sometimes hard to come by. Satvir was open to feedback and had a large rustic 10x12 mandap her team had built. It had nice large wooden beams and worked perfectly with our venue. I wanted bright florals that felt full and satvir delivered. I was very happy with how the final product turned out. She also dealt with all the crazy SF rules including zip tying all the chairs together and getting the fire permit which was required by the city. This was such a stress relief for us since we didn't know how to handle all the rules and regulations. In addition, something I really value about Satvir's approach is how she reuses florals. It pains me to see how much flowers are wasted at weddings, and I wanted a more sustainable approach. The florals from our mandap were reused for our reception and satvir touched them up and made them look beautiful. None of our guests even noticed they were the same florals. I loved the fact that we didn't waste flowers and everything was gorgeous. She also managed to do this in a very tight timeline and killed it!! Highly recommend satvir, you will not regret it.

From the start, Satvir was great about offering creative options for maximizing what we could do with our budget, by reusing much of the ceremony florals in the reception. We found that having the ability to go in person to her studio and see samples of what would be used for our wedding very helpful and appreciated that Satvir even went so far as to buy new side tables for our reception stage to match our vision. We were incredibly impressed by the final products. Many of our guests and family members had highly complementary things to say about the decor for our event.
