I called to get a quote and rather than providing me a written quote the customer service representative told me the price of each and every item which I then had to write down and calculate the costs myself. Great rental! We rented a 4-in 1 combo. It fit a lot of kids and it was a hit at the party for a 6 year old. The guys were right on time, set it up inside a gym we rented within like 15 minutes. They came back about 12 min later than they originally said but no big deal. They took down everything quickly and was on their way. Would definitely recommend. The bounce house was in great shape and clean. One thing to note: they give a 1 hour window for set up, but given we had strict time requirements for the venue I paid $100 for a 'guaranteed set up arrival time' on the dot. First time renting from here and I'll be a returning customer. Their website is easy to navigate and you can make reservations online. I put in my order and received a phone call to confirm the same day within a couple of hours. The site doesn't take card but they do that over the phone during the confirmation process. Alicia was helpful and even sent me an updated invoice the moment our phone call was over. I was also given a follow up phone call before the reservation and drop off time, I couldnt answer so they left a voicemail and then charged my card and notified me via email. This process was by far the smoothest transaction I've had with any rental place. I wasn't present during the drop off delivery process but from what I was told: it was easy and simple. They arrived within the time frame that they said they would. Delivery guys set up the tents and even offered to set the tables (which we didn't need). Pick up was easy too and I was present. Received a text with an estimated arrival time so I had everything set to go. Two of them arrived and took everything within a couple of minutes, fast and efficient! They even took care to make sure they didn't knock into the side of the house or fence. Overall, the quality of everything was beyond what I expected. They never came back to pick up the rental items! My husband waited 2 extra hours past the end of the pickup window. He waited out on the street in front of the venue with all the items (tables and chairs) since the venue was closed. Finally he went to the main office and told them what happened. They told us we could just leave, and as far as we know the driver never showed up! My husband had to miss the rest of our daughter's birthday because he was waiting for the AWOL driver. They were also late dropping the items off (15 min past the delivery window). Also my original quote online was for a specified amount that included free delivery. But when they called to charge my credit card the amount was $50 higher. They told me their website was out of date and the delivery was not free as advertised. UPDATED ON OCTOBER 9, 2019 I received a phone call from my mother trying to rent chafing dishes from them. However, she was told by the company that they would not rent it out to her because of the bad yelp review I wrote (yelp review from previous experience is below). I called to ask why she couldn't be accommodated and I was told by the owner that in his exact words "why would we want to rent anything out to your family when you gave us a bad yelp review." I then told him that my bad yelp review has nothing to do with any of my family that tries to rent from his company. He then told me in his exact words "how about it you delete your review I will help any of your family members". I told him that I didn't hear from him after I had my complaint over a year ago. He has been nothing more than rude and unprofessional. As you can see from other reviews on here, this company hasn't been professional. I don't understand why I would have to keep trying to call and be compensated when it wasn't my fault from the very beginning. I still don't recommend this party rental place. It's been over a year later and the last email I was sent never received an email back, and the email was written last year. I was also charged for chairs but never received a new invoice. By law if you're not sent an invoice for something and it is charged to your card without a new invoice it's illegal. It means they charged my card illegally. I stayed in an email that it was illegal to charge me anything without sending me legal documentation that I was going to be charged in a new invoice. I was also told that I was not charged a $30 delivery fee, but as I looked on my bank statement I never received it back to my card. The owners name is Chano Zavala. All this company cares about is getting your money. I would stay away from this place. I hired peninsula party rentals for my daughter's first birthday event that took place at the Santa Teresa Golf Course. I rented a cotton candy machine and I would definitely recommend the option that includes the cart, supplies, and bubble wrap. Please note that the delivery and pick up fee is an additional $45. The cotton candy machine was a hit!! They were easy to use and fast. The delivery was smooth and the deliverer was really nice. He even picked up our cotton candy machine from the U-Haul truck we rented when we accidentally put it in at the time of cleanup. They were on time with the delivery and pick up service which made everything go smoothly. The only reasoning for the drop in one star would be because of the staff I was working with at the front desk. I tried calling them for three days leading up to the event with no answer and one of the receptionist was very short when I called them back in May. The only scratches were on the chairs, which is expected since they get stacked and transported and what not. They delivered on time and picked up on time. I got several quotes, and theirs was the cheapest. We weren't home when they picked up, but they had no issues finding everything and taking it. We rented a large canopy and the sales rep, Alicia, told us we needed to use 8 concrete ballasts to secure the canopy. When Leo, the driver, arrived, he suggested that we can just use 4 concrete ballasts since it wasn't windy that day and it would be easier and less work for them to bring out the 4 additional ones and we had agreed. The following day on a Sunday, I emailed the company to request a refund since I was charged for the full 8 concrete ballasts. I hadn't heard back from them in a few days, so I called on Wednesday to follow up on the email. At first, Alicia was hesitant about giving me a refund and scolded me saying, "You should have contacted us right away about this." I then told her that I emailed her the following day and she said she would confirm with Leo about how many concrete ballasts were used. She calls me back and says that the company will refund me but I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. I personally thought that it was unfair to be charged a restocking fee since it was suggested to us by Leo that we didn't need the 4 additional ballasts. I contacted Leo myself and he said he would let the company know not to charge me the restocking fee and he apologized for the inconvenience. We rented their equipment on 8/19/23. To this day, I still haven't received a refund. I'm giving 2 stars because the equipment arrived on time and Leo did a great job setting everything up. read more

We rented their cotton candy machine for a recent event. The person dropped it off and simply left without teaching us how to use it! I ended up calling them whereupon the lady verbally walked me through its use. After that, it was simple to operate and the flavors we had (Blue Raspberry and Strawberry) were a hit with our guests. Tip: The $135 package includes 2 cartons of sugar floss and 100 cones. After using it, I truly believe the cartons will make more than 200 cotton candy cones!
