The program has helped him build a strong foundation in both public speaking and debate. Over the years, he's gained not only valuable speech and argumentation skills, but also confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively. When he started middle school, he transitioned into Lincoln-Douglas (LD) debate, and thanks to the outstanding coaching and supportive environment at Athens Debate, he quickly developed a real passion for it. He genuinely loves debating and always looks forward to practices and tournaments. The coaches are knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly care about each student's growth. They challenge students to think deeply while providing encouragement every step of the way. We're incredibly grateful for everything Athens Debate has done for our son and highly recommend Athens Debate to any family looking for an exceptional speech and debate program.

I couldn't praise enough for Athens staffs, encouraging, friendly, and knowledgeable! They are not only debate coaches, they are role models for the children in how to interact with others with respect, consideration and compassion. The tournaments are super fun too! My boys love their in person tournaments where they can meet same age friends who also loves debate. A LOT of snacks in their in-person tournaments by the way. The trophies are big and nice. They really work very hard to leave the children life time memories. As a mother, I want to thank Athens for opportunity they provide and the dedication they show for children's growth!

I have never more happy about a decision I've made. Not only has she drastically improved in just two years, getting a title, scholarships and awards to boot. But, more importantly we've found a new incredible family. These kids and parents all truly care about each other and it's so beautiful. No drama just unbelievable support and great vibes. The teachers are the most amazing humans who truly care about your kid and have a great balance of cheering them on and guiding them to their best potential. I adore every single one of them. They have given my daughter (and I) so much love and support that I'm forever grateful for. I also take their adult classes which has been the most amazing experience for me as well. Yes, it's great fitness and fun. But it has also honestly been such a light in my life on my darkest days and been so great for my mental health. You get the same incredible teachers and amazing supportive community. Who knew one trial class could change our lives so much for the better? Forever grateful for our new family!

So, I deleted that review and re-posting here under the right business.) *********************************** Love, love, love this camp! My daughter's first experience with camp. We signed her up for the youngest class (age 5) which are the "Nebulas". Originally, we signed up for two weeks, but because my daughter loved it so much, we added on one more week. We decided on Camp Galileo because of the balance between art, science, and outdoors. I loved the various themes and the philosophy of the camp. I heard good things from another parent who asked around about the camp. Word of mouth recommendations - great. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after the first day, all of my (not my daughter's!) anxieties about sending my daughter for 6 hours of camp went away. - Well organized staff. There are registration tables organized by last name. My daughter got a welcome from her team leader. We arrived early so my daughter joined in a story time. All campers wear a name tag showing name, class, and team color. By going more than one week, a few of the staff knew my daughter my name which was nice as they welcomed her each morning. - We signed up with a friend which made the camp experience not so daunting. Camp Galileo guarantees at least one friend to be in the same group if you put down that friend's name at sign up. Also, my daughter found it easy to meet kids. She started mentioning different names to me. - Potty breaks. I found out that the Nebulas get asked and taken for bathroom breaks between each rotation (art, science, outdoors). - Same team leader if attending for more than one week. I was appreciative that my daughter had the same team leader and team color every week that she attended. This added some familiarity for my daughter, and she didn't have to get to know a new team leader each week. - Themes and spirit. There is so much team spirit at this camp. From the team leaders to the director to the interns. Each Friday is a closing ceremony for parents to attend (1/2 hour before camp ends). We get to hear the camp songs and learn what was done that week. My daughter was so proud of us attending her camp and seeing what she did! - Ratio. My daughter's team had about 12 kids in it. There is a dedicated Nebula science instructor, art instructor, and outdoors instructor. So, in each rotation, there would be a 1:6 ratio of teacher to camper. That's a good number. - Level of staff. I liked that all of the instructors and the director are college graduates. The team leaders, I believe, are also college graduates or currently in college. The two staff members that I talked with were either teachers or pursuing a master's in education. - Helpful main office. I've called and emailed the main Galileo office a few times with questions. Very prompt responses and helpfulness. - Choicelunch. We signed up for the lunch program. I loved being able to sit with my daughter and go through all the lunches that she was able to choose from. Easy process and many choices! The lunch includes a snack, but no drink. My daughter brought a water bottle and backpack every day. - My daughter mentioned to me that someone in one of the three Nebula groups was pushing other kids and was sent to the office. I appreciated that the camp takes a no tolerance approach to anything physical between campers which is what a regular elementary school would do. My daughter is there to have fun, and the team leaders should not have to spend their time dealing with this situation. (Not to mention that if it were my child being pushed, I'd be glad of this policy.) Overall, a great first camp experience. My daughter has already asked for us to sign her up for the full weeks (I think 7) for next summer. She is still singing and putting on shows with all of the camp songs that she's learned. I have to say that the songs are catchy, and my husband and I find ourselves singing along with her!

Though there was a schedule that listed Matiz class 9:45 am to 10:45 am on Saturdays, there was no information regarding start and end date, so I was under the impression it was on a rolling admission, or that I would receive an email with directions. I did not receive an email with instructions, thus I emailed Art Hub Academy asking whether or not I should show up the next day (Saturday) for the class. Jose Luis emailed me back and let me know that all classes start at the beginning of the month, however he was super accommodating and allowed my son to come in the next day, all due to MY confusion! I apologized for the inconvenience and thanked him for his flexibility and for being so thoughtful. We showed up to the class the next morning, and Ms. Vivian was there. I am extremely impressed with how patient she is. She provided an all inclusive classroom environment that made my son feel comfortable. So much so, that he asked if I could leave because all of the other parents were not present. Usually he does not like to be alone in new environments until he warms up, but he wanted to be alone within 10 minutes of the class! The children were already working on a clay project from the week prior, and Ms. Vivian accommodated all of the children. I watched her navigate the class professionally with an enthusiastic attitude and friendly demeanor. She was well organized and made sure to give every child attention, as well as one-on-one attention. She explained tasks well to the children, and encouraged the children to socialize. She was gentle yet firm in her teaching approach. I got the vibe that Ms. Vivian loves what she does and it truly shows through her actions. When the class was over, I walked back in to pick my child up. I asked her how my child did. It went well, he enjoyed it all while having fun and learning art concepts. I was surprised at how attentive she proved to be. In addition to telling me how the class went, she picked up on things that I was already aware of, but did not expect others to pick up on during a one hour class. For example, she picked up on the fact that my son needs a lot of hands-on instruction and repetition. She even went as far as to ask how she could better help my son. Words can not explain how good Ms. Vivian's attention to detail made me feel as a parent. I am truly appreciative of the professional and patient demeanor exhibited by this facility. I am really happy with the choice I made to bring my child here. My son would not stop talking about how fun the class was, and walking me through the process of "wiring" for his clay model. It has only been one class and I can see the impact that this establishment has made on my child's self-confidence. The developmental gains that my son (and I'm sure other children) are making from this establishment are substantial. Thank you for the love and confidence that you pour into our children, Art Hub Academy!

At first, my kids were really excited and came home talked about what they learned and created. It seemed like they had fun. Then problem started as my child told me that her file was deleted couple times and she couldn't find it. I told her to ask the instructor since they supposedly are good at computer. She told me that she couldn't log on because she forgot her password. Apparently this issue has been going on during the week long summer camp. I was not aware until Thursday evening from my child. Then I asked her what was she doing if she couldn't log on and no one could help her. She said she just sat there and listened. 1) we don't learn by sitting, we learn from doing and following step by step (so she wasted her learning time and my money) 2) no instructor aware that she was sitting there and not doing anything? Didn't raise their attention? 3) she claimed she forgot her password and instructor couldn't help her. Coder instructor should be able to trace back her password or reset password for her, correct??? 4) I emailed my concerns and I got back the response from manager that my child was joking with instructor. Yes, if she wasn't engaged and couldn't log on, I know my child would be bored and fooling around. Any child would. All the kids were laughing and having fun in class. I don't see any problem with my child enjoying the class and laughing. 5) couple kids said they had WiFi issues during class. Why would it be WiFi issues when this is a coding school. 6) when I emailed to the manager, his response was trying to point finger at my child that she was joking with the instructor instead of solving the issue and take responsibility about his instructors in class. No customer service. For sure, I won't recommend anyone to this place. Very disorganized and no customer service.
