If there were 10 stars, I'd be rating it that high!…read more I began taking classes here a few months after I started chemotherapy. I really wanted something to help me keep my mind and body busy, that wouldn't use too much energy, but gave me a calm and creative outlet. Deepti was SO helpful and kind right from the start. She gave me the flexibility I needed when I was feeling ill, and the encouragement and guidance that I needed to get started on something I had never done before- I had no prior experience. I have now been going to classes for the past year and a half, and I hope never to stop. There's always more to learn and try. Deepti is the perfect teacher in that she knows when to provide instruction and guidance, and when to let you just go at it on your own. She encourages you to fulfill your passion for what you like to paint and gives you the skills you need to do 3/4 or more of the work on your own without more instruction until you want it/ask for it. She gives tips, suggestions, advice, and helps out just at the right times when you need it or get frustrated. She's SO creative and patient! This class has meant so much to me. I can't explain just how caring of a person Deepti is. She's invested in you as a person, not just you as a student. This class really became my mental therapy and helped me get through chemo, and all the repercussions after it. It has brought me great joy and stimulated so many brain cells that I wasn't sure I still had after my chemo and while I'm still taking a chemo oral medication. Deepti has helped me find a way to be proud of what I can create and also encouraged me to try new things, learn and deepen my learning. It's the first thing I've done in a long time that really has allowed me to be creative. And I've found such a sense of pride in my work, that I've even made paintings for family and friends who've asked. I did NOT have any skill in painting prior. I've come a long way and still have much to learn and improve, but Deepti is helping me get there. If you want a place for you or your child to learn and feel like they are learning with a perfect balance of guidance, support and encouragement, then the Artcircle Studio is just the place to go!

I was hesitant at first since I'd seen how disinterested my daughter was during her daily zoom meetings with her TK class for the last few months of the school year. I was surprised to see how engaged and excited she was during her first week at camp. She was able to do the camp without me being by her side, which is something I worried from my past experience on her zoom meetings. She occasionally asked for help finding her materials which took a couple mins out of my time. She enjoyed it so much we decided to sign her up for the second week, Explore Hawaii. For this camp she did need help yesterday, building her volcano, and today, making the volcano explode. The teacher emailed us before hand to let us know they would need our help for about 15-20 mins with the time. It was fun to see her reaction during the explosion of the volcano. We all enjoyed it. I highly recommend Camp Captivate. The teachers are super engaging, lots of arts and crafts to keep them busy and the content is age appropriate. I am amazed that my 5 year old is able to do this virtual camp without me being at her side.

Sula and her staff facilitated all of my son's homework and made sure they checked his work. They encouraged him to draw and build - to use his imagination. He really enjoyed his time with the students after school - a really diverse set of kids of all ages. Sula is lovely to work with and was accommodating when we needed a camp for our other child during summer break. I'd recommend this program.

Ms. Joanna who manages this place and is the program director is simply stellar. Their curriculum is very solid. Ms. Mila is a great teacher along with Ms. Joanna. I had enrolled my son just for kicks, but it turned out to be the best thing for him. I never thought he'd do this well under their guidance and supervision. Don't wait, give Genius Kids a shot if you truly want your kids to excel too, and become a genius!

It's calm and easy for kids to settle in. Looking back, we feel genuinely fortunate and grateful for the principal, the Director of Preschool & Kindergarten (Ms. Sandeepa), and the teachers, who truly make this campus stand out. You can feel the heart and intention Ms. Sandeepa brings, and how thoughtfully she uses parent feedback to make the learning journey even more special. I've been impressed many times by the activities she intentionally designs to support children's social-emotional growth, something that matters so much to young kids and might not be emphasized in every Stratford setting. Our daughter enjoys her learning through art, singing, games, and hands-on experiences like exploring the garden and different materials. We also LOVE the Mandarin afterschool program and the teachers. A good leadership team matters so much for a campus. We are happy with our choice and would highly recommend Stratford Washington Park to parents who seek an inclusive learning environment with natural greenery and professional while caring faculties to be with your children 80% of their awake time during weekdays.

Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had The place is completely disorganized, run by teenagers who spend more time on their phones and very little getting to know the kids. When our kids leave Galileo multiple teen workers would wave and call our kids by name goodbye. Here no one knows anyone, and kids all over the place, without any organized activities. Other camps we have been, either language or otherwise, there's an effort for the workers to spend time with the kids in communal activities which build strong bonds. Our kids would come home and specifically mention certain workers whom they liked. Not so here, b/c no one is interested. Worst is check out. Expect to wait 10-30 minutes to check out. Couple of times no one knew where our kid was, and all they did was use their walkie talkies but no one was actually looking for them. And of course they won't allow us to do so either. At other camps we can find our own kids and then bring them up to the checkout desk
