Came by on a Tuesday late afternoon with some friends. Parking is easy to find, and we were quickly seated. Service throughout the visit was warm and quick as well. They also had the world cup games on which was really enjoyable to watch! Boneless tenders ($18, 6/10) - literally huge, as a offer 1 pound of tenders. You were literally leaving minimum 1 pound heavier if you finish the plate. - the chicken itself is relatively tender, but it tasted heavily breaded, and after soaking in the sauce, was less crispy than I would have hoped for. I was just really glad that the chicken itself was not overly dry. - I split with a friend, and they were very kind and willing to split the tenders 2 and 2. Also were able to split the tater tots as well, and give us both a side of ranch. Overall, a cool spot to watch some sports or play some trivia. Portion sizes are literally humongous, easily split between a few people and really enjoyable to eat. Basically waited to get seated and not eat . This location used to be good but idk what happened. Ordered fried pickles took about 20 minutes for them to just come out cold and with ranch that had to been days old , it was like harden jello even flipped upside down it wouldn't come out , even ordered a beer and that glass mug it came out in had an odor to it like if it was wiped down with an old wet rag. Now the entree , ordered the chicken club sandwich and the forgot to toss the chicken in the sauce so they remade it and still got it wrong they ended up bringing out a whole different entree the buffalo chicken sandwich they did offer to remake it but at this point already about an hour in and over it got paid my bill and left. Finally made it back to Pluckers for the first time in YEARS and let me tell you! This place is like a time capsule of flavor. My usual from back in the day, spicy ranch wings with a side of fire in the hole, tasted just as good as I remembered. Consistency is their superpower. The wings were as good as I remembered them to be. Waffle fries were cooked perfectly and not limpy. The wings were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and love that the spicy ranch is a dry seasoning. No mess going on here! I love that they include a bag for kids with crayons, kid's menu and even a little cute toy! Good idea to put it in a bag to keep it organized. Our server was on top of it and very friendly. There is a changing table in the ladies restroom across from the sink. Warning: you have to hold the faucet down for water to come out. That made it fun trying to hold my little one and wash my hands. All in all, I left full, happy, and a little teary-eyed (from the spice, not nostalgia... I think). This place hasn't missed a beat since 2018. I'm ready for more wings! read more

All Pluckers Wing Bars are the same, right? No, not really. We came here for a late dinner on a Thursday and it was packed. Not a big deal though. They have their all you can eat boneless wings on Thursdays and there's Thursday night football. Our server came and took our drink order. We only wanted water but we had to wait what seemed like 10 minutes to be given water. Then the server came back and we then ordered two boneless wings basket and a 5-wing combo. Okay, here's when things really started getting a bit ridiculous. We weren't given an estimate on how long it would take for our food to come out. We could see they were slammed, so we waited, waited, and waited... Our server never came around to check on us. One of the food runners came by with our side of celery sticks, but our server sent him back saying that it's supposed to come out with the rest of our order, lol. They're just celery sticks, let us have them when they're ready! Our server was noticeably tired and didn't smile at all while we were there. The store manager came around later to apologize for the wait and asked if there was anything she could do for us. We said we were just waiting for our food. Then she came back a few minutes later to let us know she had comped our appetizer. That was nice and proactive of her to get ahead of customer complaints. Our food finally came out 30 minutes later, warm. The food wasn't hot, just warm. The chicken bites and wings were still good, and we finally got a hold of that side of celery sticks! All in all, we probably wouldn't return to this location. We've never had to wait this long for our food at any other Pluckers location. I'm so sad to say that pluckers food is mid now, it used to be my favorite place of all time to the point where I would go twice a week every week but their food and service has gone down, my food always takes up to 35 minutes even when it's not busy and when it gets to my table it's cold and my drinks are always really watered down, the waitresses are always asking us if we're ready for the check 15 minutes after we get our food and constantly ask if we're done eating kind of giving us the hit that we need to go and empty their table, and so yea I'm so sad that I even canceled my membership with them and will probably not be going back for a while. read more

I feel like this location is the worst in Austin. We have been club members for more than 10 years and eat pluckers at least weekly. This was our favorite until maybe 2-3 years ago when the food quality and service started going downhill. We now frequent S Lamar, Burnet, and Round Rock. All of them are fantastic locations. This week, we had to take a late lunch and I didn't want to drive all the way to S Lamar since Linc is so close to work. Overall a horrible experience. We're rapidly seated but then ignored by our server, Gabriel, for 10 minutes as he cleaned the surrounding booths. This wouldn't have been so bad if there was a line of people waiting to be seated but no one came in for ten minutes after us. After ignoring us, he took our drink orders he tried leaving without taking our orders. We were on our lunch break and let him know we wanted to order all at once. His overall attitude and eye rolls were not freaking appreciated. After the initial order, he was inattentive and most of our service was provided by other servers. Gabriel was then worst part of the visit but not the only problem. At check-in, it felt like our presence was an inconvenience. Other servers walked by and appeared to be avoiding acknowledging us in the even we needed assistance like a refill. The restaurant was hot. We were in a few months ago when the AC was crapped out and there was a roll-in A/C and impromptu duct work. How is this still a problem. My work group loves pluckers but decided that from now on, we'll be going to Donkey Mo's if we're staying central. If we have time, we'll try to get to Lamar or Burnet, but probably won't hit Linc again. read more
