    Duckstrami slider $10

Pluck is a truck specializing in duck. No line to get stuck at lunchtime, what luck! Mmm Pastrami Duck tasted 4 stars, no buck. But size of a hockey puck srsly what the ----!

Duck Ramen - Tasty but a little overpriced for the size ($14)

Tried Pluck today for lunch, while they were at the G lounge in SOMA. There was no wait, service was good, and the food was ready pretty quickly. I ordered the smoked duck ramen, which overall was pretty good as far as food truck ramen goes. The broth was really flavorful, duck nice and tender, and the mushrooms were great (not sure what kind they are but LOVED whatever they marinated it in). The taste and texture of the noodles were a bit off and the poached egg didn't quite break in the right way. However apart from that I'd say pretty decent ramen. They also offer it with foie gras on some days, which I imagine would be pretty tasty as well! My friend also ordered the duck fat poutine, which was basic but good. Loved the gravy and addition of the green onions, but not sure if I'd order it again. Overall a pretty decent experience. I recommend going if you're as much of a duck lover as I am!

I have to say Im a bit disappointed in the ramen. The Duck itself was excellent. The pickled mushrooms interesting. But the noodles and broth were just ok. For $8 it's a pretty small portion. I had to go get some more food after. Can I just get $8 of pure duck next time?

Pastrami sandwich and duck fat fries $10

I ordered the pastrami sandwich with duck fat fries. It was great and I'm glad I gave this truck a try. My fries were overly salty. I'm not sure if it's the nature of it, but the sandwich was so good, the fries didn't even matter. $10 total

Really nice presentation.... I was super excited to have a duck confit taco, unfortunately there just wasn't any explosion of flavors. Nothing stood out. All four of us were quite disappointed.

I associate intense, rich, fatty flavor with duck. I immediately jumped in line to try Duck Ramen at Off the Grid Picnic. They're incredibly friendly but the ramen was rather disappointing. The duck itself was good and i enjoyed the poached egg. Ramen is all about the broth though! My ramen expectations are pretty high from living in the bay area and southern california. The broth lacked flavor and the duck couldn't hold up again it. I think a duck truck is great though and I'll have to come back and try their sandwiches.

I've ordered the duck confit tacos twice at OtG's Picnic at the Presidio. Both times the food was delicious, served quickly, and priced reasonably ($6 for 2 tacos). Service is also very friendly here. I look forward to returning and trying some of their other duck specialties!

This is a gem of a Food Truck when you see it at an event as I did tonight at the Foster City Wednesday event. Presentation was awesome and the meal was delicious and tender. Gotta try it.

Duck Pastrami - This slider makes me want to betray my brisket BBQ loving ways and move into this food truck so I can eat this forever.

Awesome worker (the one making and calling out the orders) recommended the kamikaze dog, probably cuz he was a pro at making them. I got it without the sriracha, and it was perfect! A sweet and savory combination of flavors, especially with the semisweet grilled bun and thick and juicy beef frank, not your ordinary hot dog, it will have you craving more after your last bite. And the fries remind me of amusement park fries I haven't had since I was younger, not too oily and the taste was quite good, I couldn't resist even though I normally prefer less carbs. Altogether, it made for a satisfying meal. I know the food truck does plenty of private events and catering, but it would be nice if there was a way to more easily find their upcoming locations open to the public, since they don't seem to have an official website or updated social media page. I only knew they were at SubZERO this past weekend cuz of word of mouth. Anyway, if looking for unique gourmet hot dogs and burgers, I recommend Road Dogs.

If you do choose to eat there instead of take-out, there are places to sit at least which kind of borders the Warm Springs Gas Station wall. [[ Food ]] The food is decent! It's not going to be the best Mexican food you ever ate but it's tasty enough. I chose to get their #2 Combo Plate with Asada (Steak) and Chorizo (Pork Sausage) tacos. I would say I enjoyed it but I felt the meat was a bit dry. Other than that, I think it's not a bad place to go for a quick bite. It will satisfy.

Eat On Monday started doing pop up dinner options. This past wknd, we saw that they were doing Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian style and a Curry Tonkatsu plate as well as offering up roscoes ice cream tacos. We got 4 Garlic Shrimp orders and 1 Curry Tonkatsu and 4 ice cream tacos to try. The Curry Tonkatsu was bomb. The Japanese influence Curry was good with the rice and a perfect pairing to the crispy tonkatsu cutlet. I wished I had ordered more servings of this over the Garlic shrimp. The Garlic Shrimp was good but a tad too dry. We needed a garlic sauce to compliment the garlic rice. There was a bit too much raw chopped garlic mixed vs sautéed chopped garlic. Hopefully they make the adjustment. Kids loved the roscoes ice cream tacos for $5 each. We wanted more of the Youngsters (cookies and cream) but it only allowed us to order 1 as it was probably the last one in stock. If you aren't sure what to have for dinner, this was an option for Fri/Sat for us. I think they offer it up via doordash etc as well. They also debated a Thursday night addition when I was picking up our food. Try them out. Good portions.

The food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--so much so that we didn't even stop to take pictures and just jumped straight into enjoying it! The parathas were perfectly cooked--soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and generously stuffed. The Afghani soya chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--definitely a standout dish. What really stood out was how comforting and homely the food felt. Are we really at a point where people are just so accustomed to average food such that mediocre eateries are terrific to them? I came across this food truck at an Off the Grid event. I actually was excited to try this food truck as the photos on their Yelp page looked good... first mistake. The photos are incredibly outdated as this truck no longer serve mac and cheese nor collard greens, which are two dishes that I enjoy. Even their main fried chicken and waffle menu has gone from about ten items down to five. Nevertheless, I decided to get a fried chicken and waffle sandwich and ordered the Spicy and I Know It. It was honestly the saddest sandwich I have ever seen. The waffle was barely the same quality as what you would get at the continental breakfast served at your local inn. The cheese was sliced processed cheese that you get at Safeway and the fried chicken was worse than what you get at KFC. The cherry on top was that the maple syrup that they gave you with the waffles was a packaged condiment like what you would get at a fast food joint. I am truly shocked at the almost perfect score of this truck. Whether I give a place a perfect or a mediocre rating, I still somewhat understand the overall rating but in the case, I am truly lost.
