we ordered through the app while in Whole Foods. They never called our name to say our order was ready or even ask us (two people waiting for more than 15 mins in front of the counter) what name the order was under. when we got our burgers, the boxes were very dented and soggy. the bottom of my burger's box was already seperating by the time i opened it. most of the cheese had melted into the box causing it to collapse i guess ? same thing happened with my boyfriend's sandwich, beat up box and soggy bottom. my burger fell into my lap a few times, this was definitely a messy venture. I'm assuming the food had just been sitting under the heat lamp a little too long. that being said, i have eaten here before and at other whole foods locations and will continue to because the food is delicious. eating the food i was looking forward to was kind of a frustrating experience. service could be better but honestly it's kinda bleak times rn so i can't say i blame them. tldr; delicious (and messy), remember to ask them if your order is ready rather than wait for them to notify you read more

I visited PLNT Burger after a happy hour at Franklin Hall. I was so happy to be able to turn to an all vegan business to enjoy a hearty meal after an afternoon of beers. I ordered my meal on the PLNT Burger app to make sure I got reward points. I then stood outside the kiosk to wait for my order. I did not see any labeled area for pickup orders. Additionally none of the 3 employees behind the counter greeted me or asked if I was picking up an order. I waited awhile for my order when finally someone asked if I was picking up. When I said yes they handed me my order with clearly had been sitting g there ready without me knowing. I do recommend this location refine their pickup order protocol to prevent this happening to other customers. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and fried green beans. The sides were enjoyable. The fried green beans are a creative way to have a less guilty and still crunchy side. I also love that PLNT Burger provides plenty of dipping sauce for their sides. The cheeseburger was very sloppy. PLNT Burger does offer a generous amount of burger toppings, however, most of them fell out of the bun. The burger was assembled a little side ways and their burger bun falls apart easily. The flavor was good and just prepare to use a lot of napkins for this meal. Overall I would go back if I was in the neighborhood. I love supporting vegan businesses and the prices are extremely reasonable for a fully vegan menu. I do think their pickup order practices could improve and I would recommend them looking into a more sturdy burger bun option. read more

Ok, I am a new fan. I tried the PLNT Burger in Silver Spring and really didn't like it. I didn't like the food or the eating area. I thought it was over hyped and not worth revisiting. Well, I wound up seeing this location listed on TooGoodToGo and thought I would give it a chance since it's so much closer to me and the surprise bag was only $3.99. I'm so glad I did! They made my food when I got there so it was totally fresh. They gave me a Mushroom Bacon BBQ Burger and Crispy Herb Fries and they were soooooo good. Oh man..this place was soo good! I spontaneously ordered from here while getting my nails done because they offered a BOGO deal on uber eats. I ordered their PLNT cheeseburger with PLNT sauce on the side, and crispy herb fries. Both were good and flavorful! The PLNT cheeseburger is beyond meat patty, caramelized onions, pickles, NewFields american cheese (plant based-vegan and lactose free), lettuce, Roma tomato on a potato bun. I also decided to try their PLNT chili, which had a tangy sweet bbq flavor to it, but still yummy. That also was beyond meat, NewFields cheddar shreds (plant based), sour cream, and chopped green onions. Everything was well packaged and very delicious. Not sure of the calorie count, because that food was way too tasty, especially for a meatless option. But I overall highly recommend trying them out!! read more

Finding spots that you can literally eat everything on a menu when you have allergies/intolerance to certain things is such an amazing feeling! They have beyond meat which is used for the burgers and the sausage. They have several burger options to choose from. From a simple cheeseburger to a bbq mushroom burger, something to please everyone. Oh they even have two sausage/hot dogs you have to choose from as well. I am unsure what the bacon is, but they stated it's all plant base. If you have a gluten intolerance they have special buns or you can get it spinach wrapped. Oh my goodness let's talk about their fries....man oh man if you choose the herb fries or the sweet potato ones you will not be disappointed! They are both so darn delicious. They offer bloomies (fried onion fries) but I didn't order those. After all the main choices would you believe they have dessert as well. You have a choice between two cookies, one is pineapple carrot and the other is chocolate chip. They are both vegan and delicious!!! I loved the pineapple carrot one so much! They also have lactose free milkshakes. Your choices are chocolate, strawberry or swirl. I choose swirl but it wasn't my favorite at all. It was a bit too chocolate tasting for me, but if you really enjoy chocolate you will love it. They offer soft serve as well but I didn't try that. Don't forget about your drink! They have several drinks to choose from but beware the cup options are small. The small is basically a sample cup and a large looks like a regular america small cup. My order was incorrect, the staff ignored my notes in the order, there was a thick black hair in my food, the wait was well over 15 minutes, and the staff weren't wearing their masks properly. I ordered a gluten free bun which was pretty standard but good compared to many gluten free buns I've tried previously. I will definitely come again as it was truly a unique sandwich and I already want another. I would have given 5 stars but I payed for added tomato and extra pickles which I think was over looked because there were only 4 pickles and no tomato at all. I'm so past the point of frustration that I needed to write this post. Today was the fourth time I received an incorrect order. I have called and notified PLNT Burger about the incorrect orders and finally gave them one more chance today to make it right. I am sick of wasting my money and having to throw away food that is wrong. Not happy at all. I will not be returning and I will be sure to let everyone know what terrible service there is here. If you are in the food business it is so important to make sure if someone asks for NO SAUCE 5 times you don't slather it all over the burger rendering it inedible. Awful. read more
