BUT THIS IS INSANE. $95 for this!!! It was originally $100 but i got a discount for some reason. I didn't tip because i'm not paying a dime more for what i got. The lines are not even straight. The colors are overlapping each other, everything is different sizes. I never wanted my money back more than I ever have my whole life. Down in Tempe on a Friday afternoon & decided to scout out some place to get a much-needed…read morepedicure. Where to turn? Yelp of course! It led me to Golden Nails Spa & I had an excellent experience here. You know what I really appreciated? The hospitality. Everyone smiled & was welcoming, from the one gentleman up front to the woman who gave me the pedicure & then the lady who answered the phone. This seems like something super simple, but I've been to nail salons where they are just not NICE. They are there to do the job but do not incorporate kindness & customer service...at a service-oriented business. Many nail techs seem like they REALLY dislike their jobs. And if you question how they're doing something to your hands or feet, or even ask?! They often act insulted. It's a fine line to tread. When it shouldn't be. I chose the VIP pedicure - see the menu! Treatment on my legs: * sugar scrub * hot stone massage * peppermint mask + hot towels * there was no paraffin wax for my feet but these other treatments made up for that Then "regular" stuff for feet: * soaking * cheese grating! * nail trimming & shaping - I asked for filing instead of cutting Thank you to Golden Nails Spa & "Ann" for a relaxing pedicure.

It's always such a calm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant environment. I never feel rushed, and the staff is so kind and professional, which makes every visit feel like a little self-care escape. I was reading my book and almost fell asleep! Thank you for the beautiful pedicure and the best massage I've gotten at a nail salon. Leah did a stunning job at my french tips. I asked for gelX and shorter nails while still having the pointy, skinnier french mani I desire and she didn't hesitate to give me what I wanted. However, I'm used to working with a private tech who takes good care of my nails and does a soak off instead of getting my previous nails buffed/drilled off with an e-file. I do prefer to get my nails done the healthiest way, and this might not be the place for that kind of care. I added pictures of 1 week after getting my nails done, and my nails are already lifting at the base. It might be because my job requires constant hand hygiene for long hours. Overall, I think pricing is reasonable and you are given great service. :) I'm just biased and prefer private techs instead of nail salons.

I used to frequent this place, but after a few back-to-back mediocre visits, I stopped coming…read more Nails aren't cheap anymore, and a "just okay" experience doesn't really justify the price point. I decided to give it another shot while I was in the area... and it immediately reminded me why I stopped. The whole appointment felt rushed from start to finish. There was a subtle sense of judgment when I tried to communicate what I wanted, and overall the service just wasn't warm or welcoming. Maybe I'm particular, but consistency matters. Especially when you're getting the same service repeatedly. Basic finishing steps were skipped, like properly filing the sides after curing to clean up excess gel and prevent lifting. Small details, but they make a big difference and signal the level of care being put in. The salon itself is cute and well-kept, but the experience just doesn't match the aesthetic. Overall, it lands firmly in the "mediocre" category and at this price point, that's a tough sell.

I was at the mall & stopped into 7 Days Spa & Nails at Tempe Marketplace after my usual spot…read moreghosted me--again. Two months, multiple calls, straight to voicemail. So, with a trip coming up and no time to search, I gave this place another shot for convenience. Everyone was friendly, and I was seated right away. I chose the $65 "7 Day Spa" pedicure--the second most expensive option, mostly for the 15-minute massage. The cheese grater (you know the one) went a little too hard and left me with a tiny cut--nothing dramatic, but not ideal. Then came the massage, and here's where things got... lopsided. My right foot got the full spa experience: deep massage, attention to detail, 10/10. But my left foot? A light calf rub, a toe wiggle, and then back to pampering the right one. I sat there confused, waiting for balance to be restored... but nope. That was it. The tech was kind, and if he'd shown both feet equal love (and maybe eased up on the grater), I might've become a regular. But for $65, I left with one happy foot, one sad foot, and a tiny scratch to remember it by. Still looking for my pedicure forever home.
