I was at the mall & stopped into 7 Days Spa & Nails at Tempe Marketplace after my usual spot ghosted me--again. Two months, multiple calls, straight to voicemail. So, with a trip coming up and no time to search, I gave this place another shot for convenience. Everyone was friendly, and I was seated right away. I chose the $65 "7 Day Spa" pedicure--the second most expensive option, mostly for the 15-minute massage. The cheese grater (you know the one) went a little too hard and left me with a tiny cut--nothing dramatic, but not ideal. Then came the massage, and here's where things got... lopsided. My right foot got the full spa experience: deep massage, attention to detail, 10/10. But my left foot? A light calf rub, a toe wiggle, and then back to pampering the right one. I sat there confused, waiting for balance to be restored... but nope. That was it. The tech was kind, and if he'd shown both feet equal love (and maybe eased up on the grater), I might've become a regular. But for $65, I left with one happy foot, one sad foot, and a tiny scratch to remember it by. Still looking for my pedicure forever home. read more

I've been going here for years and I love the employees but after this experience I either have to find a new place or refuse service from the older lady with the glasses. I came in a little after they opened on 6/18 and the lady doing my pedicure cut the side of my big toe so much that she caused an infection, left a small bruise on my leg from the massage and even made me bleed by pulling out skin from my pinky toe, she felt me react, ignored me anjust kept cutting off the cuticles AND THE CUTICLE NIPPER WASNT NEW. I've been coming to 7 Day Nail Salon for over 10 years and have always appreciated the kind, hardworking women who work there. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, one male technician was rude and argumentative. When I politely asked for my nails to be made thinner, he snapped that I should've said so earlier and continued to argue. Thankfully, a younger tech stepped in and fixed the issue. I like this place a lot, for their generally solid work and their great prices. You will not find a better manicure for less in the valley. They do regular manis, gel, dip, and acrylic sets/fills. When I had a broken toenail and wanted a pedicure, the tech was able to fix it and make my toes appear even with a little acrylic magic. The thing that keeps them from being five stars is that not all of the nail technicians are great. The location is connected to the shopping area which is nice. It has a lot of chairs for pedicures, this seems to be the main reason people come to my this place. The overall service was good, however the chairs are old and have no padding on the seats. The back massager in my chair didn't work, it turned on and off randomly. When it was time to pay, they ran my card for the service, with a fee to run your card. Which is fine, but they don't allow you to tip on your card but they do have an atm with a service fee (of course) for you to get cash to tip if you don't have cash. I didn't like being forced to pay two service fees to pay for my service and then to get cash to tip. It's 2024, who carries cash anymore?? read more

As I sat down for my spa pedicure, a lady came over and started drilling my polish off my nails. When she realized it was regular polish, she used acetone. After she was already doing my nails, she asked what color gel I wanted? And I said, "no gel, I don't do gels!" She said, "we don't do regular polish, $39 for fill." I said, you price list shows $29. She grabbed the list and indeed it was $29. She said, "old list, old price, we no do regular, only gel! Gel better anyway!" And I said no! After her speaking to her boss in Vietnamese, he came over and started to do my nails, I said, no polish, no gels, just a fill!! He was rough, he cut me several times. It was a half ass job and he still charged me $39!! The pedicure was fine, still cost me $39 and after paying $78, I'd never, ever go back in there! When I asked them to use a clean towel she told me I still had a long way to go so she was going to keep using it. Usually when I go to a salon they leave my hands/toes dry and peeling. But when I left my toes were moisturized and my hands were neat with no peeling residue.
