Please do NOT use this location for an oil change!! They cracked the oil housing unit in my vehicle and tried to gaslight me as to the cause. I had NO oil leak when I brought my vehicle in, and after I got home, there was oil all over my garage. An actual mechanic shop told me what caused it... I contacted them repeatedly about the issue, and they completely ignored me after an initial contact from District Manager Gary. Unless you have an extra $1100 to gamble, I'd take your vehicle to actual mechanics with a code of ethics. This location is filled with arrogance and below acceptable customer service. read more

My 18-year-old son recently took his car to Plaza Tires on East Sunshine for a flat tire repair. Unfortunately, he didn't ask for my advice first, because this shop and its management take no responsibility for their work. A few years ago, they put the wrong oil in my truck, and the engine blew up two weeks later. A trusted third party confirmed it was the wrong oil, but Plaza refused to take responsibility, costing me $20,000 out of pocket. This time, after fixing my son's flat, they told him the car needed new belts. They replaced them, and within three miles they broke. They charged him nearly $700 and left his car in worse shape than before. Once again, Plaza won't take responsibility. The manager, Dusty, admits he's constantly "putting out fires"--probably because the staff are dishonest and unethical. Avoid this shop at all costs! read more

I visited this store this morning for a state inspection. I arrived at 10:40, and my truck was taken in at 10:45. By 11:05, I returned to the counter to ask about the timing of the inspection. The attendant said he would check once he finished what he was working on, but I was surprised that I hadn't been given an estimate up front. After waiting another 15 minutes, I asked again and was told only that "they would get to it." When I asked for a more specific timeframe, the attendant seemed put off and repeated that I was "next in line," but still would not provide an estimate. At that point, I requested my keys and explained that I would have appreciated being told the expected wait time when I checked in. His response was that I should have asked. To me, that is poor customer service. A courteous approach would be to set clear expectations up front so customers can make an informed decision about their time. I am new to Springfield, and I hope this type of experience isn't a reflection of service standards in the area. --Doug Rush read more

One of my tires had a slow leak, so I came in for a patch. I called before hand and they answered right away and were really nice over the phone as well as in person. It was a little bit of a wait since they were busy. I was there for about an hour but it was free under my warranty so it was totally worth the wait! Even though tire patches are not very expensive anyway, I think it would have costed $25 without a warranty. Overall super helpful and didn't push me to buy other things, which has always been a concern for me when going to auto places because I am a young girl that doesn't really know much about cars so its very easy for places to push me over. But this place didn't and I was very surprised and thankful for that. read more

My husband went in to get an oil change, fuel filter, and new tires. Well, they forgot to screw in the oil filter. We didn't know until we saw a huge oil stain on our driveway since the work was done in the evening we ended up having to wait until morning and then ended up with an even bigger oil stain. Called them in the morning they offered to redo the oil change. We had to buy oil to refill the engine to even get to the station because there was no oil in the engine left. We asked them to repair the damage to the driveway. They refused to taking responsibility. Had to buy our own degreaser oil remover and get a pressure washer to remove the stain. One was not enough we have to redo. Such a pain and so much additional expenses, for someone who does oil changes all day, long, not doing their job very disappointed that they would not provide a solution or even the chemicals to clean up the mess that they caused everything is out of our pocket. read more

Great service, super friendly staff. They were a little more expensive than other shops but I had a 10 dollar off coupon which made it a bit more comparable. They did a great job and were very reliable. They got my car in that day when no other shop could. I felt like my car was in good hands. We dropped off the flat tire, did some shopping, and returned about 2 hours later and picked up the repaired tire. It only cost $20 and has held air for 2 weeks already -no problem. Called on a Friday morning to make an oil change reservation. They said the earliest they could do was 10:30 AM on Saturday. Took that reservation, dropped off my vehicle prior to my reservation time, confirmed my cell phone number and asked for any updates on the car, leaving to run errands so as not to rush them. I had a reservation, it'll be started soon...(Big mistake) Five hours later, I called them because I received no updates, they told me they close in one hour and they will get it done before closing. I arrive 30 minutes after my phone call, my car is in the same spot I left it 5 1/2 hours earlier, not touched, only explanation is "we are shorthanded sorry." Could have explained that upfront and set an expectation time of five hours, could have given me a call after one hour, or after two hours, or told me that when I called them at the five hour mark. Extremely horrible customer service, the reservations don't mean anything, find somewhere else for a minor simple oil change. read more

Went in on a Saturday without an appointment.My daughter had damaged a rim and I wanted it checked out before she was back in town. The gentleman who helped said he understood and then proved it. It took about an hour to work me in which as busy as they were I was totally fine with. Then they not only straightened the rim, but the charged me a very minimal amount to do it. Went for a routine oil change and a tire alignment (which I made an appointment for ahead of time). I waited an hour only for them to forget to do the oil change. I had to then wait another 30 minutes for them to take my car back into the shop and do the oil change. On top of that I was tricked into receiving a synthetic oil change (which I didn't need) and into changing out my filter that wasn't as bad as they had told me it was. This happened because I am dumb and know nothing about cars, but also because they saw a young (dumb) college student that was easy to dupe. read more

Wow! So frustrated with this company. I got tires at the e sunshine store in 2018 this year I got a flat while my dad was changing it, he realized my car had two different size tires on! I took it to the Campbell location and explained what happen, they were understanding and got me two new tires of the same size, that wasn't the problem, then they told me my alignment was way off so I said okay you can fix that, 80 dollars after they said it was very off so it took over an hour to do, I was totally understanding and then they came out and told me, under my understanding that my tie-rods were bad because whoever did my last alignment, I don't know much about cars so I was a little confused when they said the melted them together then I was under the impression I had to still get them replaced because they gave me an estimate of 200 hundreds and something. I guess it was a month later when I made it into the e sunshine store again and explain what had happened, they said they needed to look but they weren't very friendly. They look and came back and said that's from ware and tear and I explained what the other store said, he looked at me and said well they were untruthful, at this point I'm extremely upset because I'm hearing two different things they said it would cost 240 dollars to be done, I was unbelievably confused and said I'll just go somewhere else because at this point I didn't know what was wrong. After I left that store on may the 20th, 2020. I spoke to the general Manager he explained that they do get wear and tear and I was understanding and said well I kept hearing two different things, he let me go and called the Campbell store back, to find out what I needed, after that he called back and said he talked mechanic who apparently remember me because of the two different sized tires and explained that apparently nothing was wrong with the tie-rods or anything that everything was good and all I was needing was new back breaks. Well after I heard that news I was still very confused considering both stores including the East sunshine, the exact day I talked to the general manager gave me an estimate of 200 for whatever needed done. Also my car just wasn't driving right so I decided to get a third opinion and take it to a third party in town and they told me my ball joint and control rod were very bad and that's why it wasn't driving right, it was in for 10 mins and I new what was wrong.
