With more attentive parenting and a friendlier, more engaged staff, this could easily be a much better experience.

My sister-in-law was already inside caring for her 5-month-old and 3-year-old, yet she was asked to come to the front gate twice to confirm that I was with them. The facility itself is very nice, clean, and welcoming, and the baristas were incredibly sweet. My only concern was the front desk communication. I think the front desk staff should explain the process and policies clearly, especially to first-time visitors such as aunts, uncles, or grandparents who are there with family. A little more patience and professionalism would have made the experience much better. I'm giving 3 stars mainly because the baristas were so kind and welcoming. Otherwise, based on my experience at the front desk, I would have given 1 star.

It's like if someone crossed a SkyZone Trampoline Park with a McDonald's Playpen and slapped it with a coat of pastel paint and candy stickers. Sorry, CANDEE stickers. I will say that the prices are very reasonable. $25 buys you two hours of playtime. Grip socks are extra, food is extra, some of the games are extra. And the area itself is impressively clean, especially considering the number of young children traipsing about. On the negative side of things, however, the list is a bit longer. First, there's not a ton to do. Candeeland has limited space to work with and much of it is taken up by sitting areas for parents. The empty space could easily house 2-3 more small activities without sacrificing any existing areas. Still, what activities they do have are pretty intricate, with the multilevel play area having a nice array of padded areas for children to crawl through and a toddler area with nice pneumatic tube setup to delight the young. Next, even though the place is less than a year old, there's already some breakage of some of the area. There's a floor made up of touch screens that displays numerous games for kids to step on a play with. However, it's apparent that some larger kids have smacked a number of screens, causing them to go out or flicker. Which leads to my biggest issue. There are not that many people working here. This means that there are usually people minding the gate and checking if your kid is leaving with the right person. But, there aren't enough people on the floor to ensure safety or police older kids from doing things they shouldn't be doing. Candeeland really is a place that caters to those between 3-8 years of age. Older kids either don't fit on some of the slides or play a bit too rough with the environment. More than once, a screaming 12 year old almost barreled over my kid, knocked her off a slide, or hit her with one of the nerf axes. Sure, they balk when you glare at them. But, they just go back to screaming and thrashing about while their parents sleep oblivious in the corner. So, does my seven year old like Candeeland? Yes, she loved it and wants to come back. Did I like Candeeland? M'eh, not particularly. Still, I'm sure I'll be back eventually...

The middle big area for our 6 years old and the small one right next to it was for our 1 years old. Adults were able to enjoy the food while also watching their kids play which was awesome and easy. Staff was great helping us with whatever we needed, they showed us the hooks for our main decor, provided tape and they helped clean up. Party was for 2 and a half hours and it went smoothly which that's all we wanted. I know my kids had the best birthday because the birthday boy said "this was the best day ever". I can definitely recommend this place to our friends if they need a place to have a party for little ones.

My daughter was quite let down, as the provided cupcakes didn't feel quite right for a milestone 10th birthday. We were also informed that if we wanted to bring any extra food or treats, they had to be individually wrapped, which is very limiting. Additionally, our host was not very engaging. The front desk staff was extremely rude to multiple guests while checking waivers (who gave us feedback afterwards). Instead of welcoming families, they acted irritated and dismissive. From that moment on, it felt like they were more focused on catching us break rules than providing even basic customer service. We paid $17 per child for 20 kids for the baking activity, and it was terrible. Several parents shared that the staff told children to "stand still or you won't get your cake pop" . Only two parents were allowed inside to supervise 20 kids. All kids were crammed around one table despite several empty tables sitting unused in kitchen. Kids were shoulder-to-shoulder while staff watched sternly. My daughter even said it was the "worst birthday ever," which was heartbreaking. On top of the $500+ facility fee and $340 baking charges, we agreed on $150 cleaning fee because we decided to bring outside food. We were provided only (1) table for food, and when we asked for additional tables for food and kids art, we were told they "didn't have any." They suggested placing the kids' artwork right next to the food. The nickel-and-diming continued nonstop... In addition, we paid: $20 each for two toddlers who stayed in the playground $50 extra for five adults (we exceeded the capacity of 40 guests) We had to push our guests out (it was embarassing!!) since we were told we would be charged $50 per 10 minutes if we went over the extremely tight 10-minute cleanup window. They do not allow decor on wall or even outside balloons, which is absurd for a kids' party venue. They sell the decorations in house though. By the end, I felt like we spent the entire party being watched, policed, and corrected rather than supported. Staff members hovered pointing out "rules" instead of helping create a good experience for the kids. BOTTOM LINE: The playground may look fun, but the staff, policies, and overall experience are terrible. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and unnecessary fees. Book your party somewhere else!!
