My friend held her daughter's 1st bday party here. The party was beautifully decorated (my friend told me that they handle set up and breakdown), so you don't have to worry about anything other than attending! I will say the only downside of this venue is that it's not really optimized for parties (which makes sense bc their main gig is the play area for the kids - and they have plenty of room to run around). Seems like you can bring your own food/drinks in which is really nice! There isn't that much space available for the adults/bystanders. The staff were really friendly, and welcomed us right when we walked in. Fandory Factory is an amazing fun space with a little bit of everything. We attended the spring break camp and I accompanied the child I work for ( as his Aide) and they were extremely accommodating. The staff keeps the kids engaged in the activities while bringing a nice calm energy to Fandory Factory! The staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were being met. We attended Steam camp which was really fun as the kids built a light up circuit and cooking camp where the kids made a yummy fruit and chocolate desert! They have a very fun and educational indoor playground! I highly recommend fandory factory We will be back for summer camps! They also offer tutoring and an academic program in the summer! read more

We booked this venue for my daughter's 7th birthday, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disappointing and stressful experiences we've ever had. The only positive is the indoor playground. Everything else from customer service to the baking activity was a complete letdown. The front desk staff was extremely rude to multiple guests while checking waivers (who gave us feedback afterwards). Instead of welcoming families, they acted irritated and dismissive. From that moment on, it felt like they were more focused on catching us break rules than providing even basic customer service. We paid $17 per child for 20 kids for the baking activity, and it was terrible. Several parents shared that the staff told children to "stand still or you won't get your cake pop" . Only two parents were allowed inside to supervise 20 kids. All kids were crammed around one table despite several empty tables sitting unused in kitchen. Kids were shoulder-to-shoulder while staff watched sternly. My daughter even said it was the "worst birthday ever," which was heartbreaking. On top of the $500+ facility fee and $340 baking charges, we agreed on $150 cleaning fee because we decided to bring outside food. We were provided only (1) table for food, and when we asked for additional tables for food and kids art, we were told they "didn't have any." They suggested placing the kids' artwork right next to the food. The nickel-and-diming continued nonstop... In addition, we paid: $20 each for two toddlers who stayed in the playground $50 extra for five adults (we exceeded the capacity of 40 guests) We had to push our guests out (it was embarassing!!) since we were told we would be charged $50 per 10 minutes if we went over the extremely tight 10-minute cleanup window. They do not allow decor on wall or even outside balloons, which is absurd for a kids' party venue. They sell the decorations in house though. By the end, I felt like we spent the entire party being watched, policed, and corrected rather than supported. Staff members hovered pointing out "rules" instead of helping create a good experience for the kids. BOTTOM LINE: The playground may look fun, but the staff, policies, and overall experience are terrible. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and unnecessary fees. Book your party somewhere else!! read more

We held our daughter's 4th birthday party here and it was a huge hit with kids and parents alike. The indoor play area is large with enough variety that plenty of kids can enjoy and explore (we had about 20) and it appealed to kids of different ages from 2-9 in our group. The fact that the play space has a secure gate makes it comfortable for parents to relax not having to worry about their kids running off. The staff is a big help in setting up and cleaning up, very nice to be able to walk in and need to do minimal prep and after a fun party, walk out with minimal cleanup. We are so grateful for Fandory! Our child (Kid A) was enrolled in their afterschool program. Kid A loved going to Fandory. Each week was full of exciting play time, art, lessons, baking class, and friendship. Mirela and Aldisa provided excellent care for my child and I felt very safe having Kid A join their program. They picked my child up from school everyday and were vigilant in keeping them safe from the moment they saw kid A exit the gate to when they arrived at Fandory. Great space for kids and adults! I can't attest to the adult part really because I've never used any of the facility for work like the conference room and desks for laptops, etc. but I do like the concept that parents can get work done while the kiddos got plenty of space to run around. I brought my son here one time and he had sooo much fun. The play houses and structures were all well designed and unique. There was a slide, a pretend supermarket, a pretend house, and a bunch of other different toys scattered across the large space. My son was checking everything out nonstop for an hour. The place was clean too. There's a diaper changing station in a room with poop bags. The owner was a mom too and she's quite friendly. The whole area is fenced off so kiddos can't escape. Overall it's a nice concept and space. It's a great place to bring your kids here if you live close by. read more

We had a birthday party for our 5 year old, and invited about 25 kids (age 1 - 8). We rented out the entire space and thought that the fee was reasonable, as was their rules about outside food, decorations, etc. The kids had a really great time playing and the space made it easy to round up the children for lunch, cake, etc. The staff was also really helpful and we felt like everything was taken care of, letting us enjoy the day. Located on the second floor next to the bathrooms, this is a working parents dream - a place to work while the kids are pre occupied playing in a large area with different play buildings plus a castle and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. For parents they have seats! The owners are so thoughtful, I have two toddlers & an infant. I needed help going up the stairs. The owners husband helped with the infant carrier while I held the hands of both toddlers to the front of the business. The steps going up to the business have numbers and the alphabets to help encourage learning. While inside there are several private work rooms that surround the outside of the business. They have a gated play area. Outside the gated play area there is a cubbie to place shoes (they need sticky socks); plenty of seating & has a snack table. My 1st time there I couldn't find the receptionist, when she showed up she was unfriendly. Additionally there were instances where the receptionist family where also there and monopolizing the tea room play area. We rented Fandory Factory for our 3 year old's birthday and it was such a hit! We rented the space for 2 hours and the kids had so much fun playing on all of the play structures that they didn't want to take a break to eat cake! As a parent it was great to let the kids run around safely and since the play area was enclosed we could actually carry an adult conversation without worrying about the kids. The adults and kids had so much fun that we actually ended up paying for an extra half hour since no one wanted to leave. Mirela, the owner, is awesome and very responsive. I've been bringing my daughter (2 years old) to Fandory for a few months now and it's one of her favorite places to play. I love how clean and well thought out the play areas are. I love it's supportive of parents who work and need their child occupied safely. We just had my daughter's second birthday party there and it went perfectly! Mirela answered all my questions before the party and the day of she was amazing. Being 34 weeks pregnant I forgot important things like the birthday candles and she gladly gave me 2. The birthday package included decorations, I didn't really have to bring anything except table cloths. Recently we had the opportunity to try out the town themed indoor playground at the Fandory Factory in Rancho Bernardo. We made it a playdate. The kids and adults loved it! I was very happy that it was very clean. I highly recommend. Fandory Factory also has coworking space, and kids can play while the adult works. I look forward to trying out the coworking space. My kids had a very fun time playing here on a rainy day. It was $35 for both kids to play for 2 hours. The indoor area is a fun time for their ages (3 and 5). Kids too much older than 7 would probably be bored. There was a Kindermusic class the day we went. The staff at reception was friendly and helpful. I was able to work from one of the chairs inside the play area while the kids played. Minus one star because the bathrooms are outside of the business and down the hall. We had a birthday party for my 3 year old at Fandory recently - she turned 3 on 3/3 so it was her golden birthday and we had gold plates, balloons, tablecloths etc. It turned out beautiful! Mirela and her team were friendly, accommodating and very responsive leading up to the event as well. The kids loved the play area - they were busy playing the whole time and didn't want to leave! We had 40 people (kids and adults) RSVP but probably closer to 30 or so show up... the space was more than big enough, comfortable and it was so wonderful for the adults to let the kiddos run around In the gated play space while we could have drinks and talk. They transport her from school, always have fun creative crafts, a really great play area, and diverse extracurricular activities. My daughter attended one week of baking camp at Fandory Factory this summer. Each week has a different baking theme. My daughter attended the cake/ cupcake session. The group is mixed in ages. My daughter is 9 years old and wished she had more kids her age in the class but still enjoyed it that she looked forward to returning the next day. She made cake pops, tart and pizza. There is an option for half day or full day. We chose half day because we just wanted the baking class. I recommend this faculty.
