The location have two parks, one is 4s community park and the other one is 4s ranch sports park. 1. 4s community park This park is kid friendly with play area and gazebo. We had our kids birthday party here once. You could reserve the gazebo for a fee and a $25 fee will be charged for bouncy houses or similar equipment. Use of a generator for this type of equipment is included in the fee. This facility includes lot of featured including Picnic area, Playgrounds lot of shade with new shade screen, Reservable gazebo also in the corner near the road they have Bocce courts 2. 4s ranch sports park One of the best sport facilities in Rancho Bernanrdo and best in 4s ranch. You will see kids playing all the time, lot of league games happens here. 4s soccer league, 4s little league, basket ball, soccer, etc 4S Ranch Sports Park had plenty to offer, like, five baseball/softball fields, six soccer/multipurpose fields, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, and a roller-hockey rink. Baseball has turf and dirt too Dog friendly, jog friendly, kids friendly, athlete friendly. Since this place is so popular, parking is so hard to find. That's the only down. Other than that, everything is bless about this place.

This park is huge! And there's shade, woohoo!!

I love this playground/park!!!! My mom lives in 4s Ranch so we are over there often. Yesterday, we wanted to take my daughter to the park to experience the swings for the first time. We drove down to what I thought was Pioneer Park but was actually Heritage Park (on Deer Ridge Rd) and sadly, there were no baby swings or any swings for that matter!!!! Weird! Even the toddler area, which is somewhat enclosed by black metal gates, didn't have swings. We ended up leaving to go find a park with swings.. We finally ended up at 4s Community Park on the 3rd park and immediately loved this park! It is located right before the entrance of the Boys and Girls Club. We parked right at the curb which I saw many other parents and caretakers do. I didn't see a lot next to this park but I'm sure most parents just park at the Boys and Girls club parking lot and walk over. Anyway, this playground is pretty big! It also has a fair amount of shade covering 80% of the playground which I love! It had 2 baby swings and I think 2 big kid swings. It had 6 slides at 3 levels, "small, medium, and large" if you want to put it. And a bunch of other play things including a fun hanging zip line type equipment. There were benches all around the playground for moms and dad's, and a gazebo area with tables which I saw has a reserved for the day sign, I presume for a birthday party later. My daughter is 10 months old and was not a fan of the swings whatsoever, and didn't seem to care for the slides. This playground is covered in play sand so I think on a warmer day, I'll take her back and let her play in the sand.

Roller hockey rink.

Pretty decent sports complex nestled among the homes of 4S and adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club. This park provides a couple baseball / softball fields along with a larger grass area that is used for soccer and football. There are basketball courts as well as a roller hockey rink on the grounds although I'm not certain whether or not that is a park option or a B&G Club option. Plenty of room as well as a playground for the little ones. The only downside is the fact that parking can be a little tight. Other than that, a nice place to enjoy an afternoon out in the sunshine.

I don't live remotely close to this park (million dollar homes) but we came here for a birthday party. It's a perfect spot. Small park tho so you definitely have to reserve the space. There were sports events going on at the complex and a good amount of people but we found parking easily at the school next door. The picnic area was nice and shaded with clean tables. And the playground is uh-mazing! Huge with so many different things, even a zip line! I know, right?! The best part is that the whole thing is shaded which is great for the kids! They definitely made good use of those HOA fees.

Yes, it's close to the Boys and Girls Club so there tends to be a good amount of traffic but it is still a safe place.

We paid for parking right in front of the Spanish Art Village and paid $10 for 4 hours. Spanish Art Village was beautiful. If you buy something, it goes directly to the artist whose studio you're in. The artists were sitting quietly and would talk to you about their art pieces and tell you a little about themselves. Everything in there was so cool. I was especially intrigued by the artist in Studio 21, he had these incredible three part paintings he does by hand and I've never felt so much emotion before by an art piece. I really wish I had the money for them because I really would've taken them home with me ;( The botanical building was stunning, it wasn't as big as I thought it would be but definitely beautiful! We also ended up visiting the Timken Art museum and the PostSecrets and Cannibalism exhibits within the last 15 minutes of them being open. Wish we got there earlier so we didn't have to speed through them, but staff was still really nice and everything was so interesting to look at! We went to Panama 66 for a quick drink and bite afterward. We didn't even get to explore the rest of it because the entire park is so expansive, but we will definitely be coming back to visit the rest. It's definitely a must for tourists, but I just know I'd be here every day lying in the grass and reading if I lived here!

Our driver was nice enough to give us a short tour on the way, which was a nice touch. We ended up seeing the Botanical Building and lily pond area, and both were lovely and picturesque. I honestly felt like I was in Europe with the architecture of the buildings. Next, we made our way to the Spanish Village Art Center, and it felt like I had stepped into a movie set, very surreal and colorful. I would highly recommend Balboa Park for any first-time visitors to San Diego!

It's super accessible with ample parking, and I love that there are multiple entry points and routes you can take depending on how long of a walk you're in the mood for. This park truly has something for everyone. There's a splash pad, basketball courts, a great playground for kids, and even a giant chess game, which is such a fun and unique touch. It's also an amazing place to walk your dog--I bring mine here all the time, and he absolutely loves all the open grass and the variety of paths we can explore. One of my favorite features is the set of stairs that lead up toward the residential areas and the dog park. If you take them all the way up, you're rewarded with really pretty views at the top, which makes the little climb totally worth it. Overall, Civita Park is clean, well-designed, and perfect whether you're looking to be active or just enjoy a relaxing afternoon outdoors. Definitely a Mission Valley gem!

Lately, with temperatures 10 to 19° above "normal average" - or maybe it's just the new normal - it's hard to recall the last time we got to experience a cool day. But here, the way the gazebos, tables, and benches are set up reflects a pretty severe case of denial that this is Southern California, and not quite within walking distance from the beach. It WILL get hot whenever it damn pleases, with or without notice. It did so in February already, in case you missed it. We came a few times for the farmers market. Both days were unfortunately " 80°F" her weather report, which in reality feels like 92°F, and we had to scramble to find a little bit of shade, so that we could eat our street food without passing out from heat stroke. We huddled awkwardly on the curb under a small tree. Other people passing by with food in their hands looked at us with envy. NOT A SINGLE PERSON sat on the readily available benches with tables, because they were in the blazing sun, yet lacked any shade. Never mind an umbrella, not even holes to put one in!! Denial much?? It's really sad, because it's a beautiful place. It just DESPERATELY needs more shade for the visitors to feel comfortable without clinging to trees or the bathroom walls.
