We'd jumped up on the flat roof a few times and hadn't been able to get any sightings. Along with this, we found a dead black widow, so we decided it was time and had Urban Desert Pest Control come out. The great news was no evidence of roof rats! The even better news was that instead of charging us for placing traps anyway, Urban Desert Pest Control realized that our "pet" squirrels that live in our backyard were probably getting up there to play and placed some filters over vents to prevent the squirrels from getting into the vents. Guess what? Noises went away. Nice to work with a company that focuses on the individual customer instead of implementing a general approach for every single situation.

I felt like he was honest in his recommendations and I felt comfortable with the product that he chose to use would be safe for my young family and pet. Incredible customer service -- and I appreciate that in between visits they will come back out if needed for free to reinspect if you see any bugs. Our first visit was less than $100 so I feel like that's a great value, considering that he walked the entire perimeter of our home with a broom and checked every nook and cranny luckily he only found two spider webs. My rep, Matt is a bug lover (loved bugs growing up as a kid, so he seemed to understand and know his bugs ), which is a great repertoire of knowledge and helps educate average folks like me. If I could change anything, it would be the warranty. Another company offered 5-year for the same product, but overall I was most comfortable going with Simply Green. Kudos to Katie for her responsiveness to questions. D-Day.. rep was accommodating. He pretty much carried out the tasks as described by Matt. No surprises. At my request, remedied the inside first so we could reposition furniture and get the interior back to normal (spot treatments into the wall plus topical filler. Paint touchups not included, but that was disclosed upfront.) Then, our external side wall which is actually our neighbor's side yard (so we could wrap up disturbing the neighbor and could reposition their yard furnishings.) And finally the rest of our external perimeter. Overall we're happy with the service and hopeful no further termite issues for at least 7 years (we bought the 10-year product which realistically may last 7+ years, but warranteed by Simply Green for 3 years.)

I told the girl that I talked to on the phone that we had just moved in and there was alot of unpacked boxes still in the house, but I would move them around so they could spray in the house and garage. She said not to worry, it would be ok. The price for the first service was $95. And then she stated that depending on monthly or bi-monthly would determine the price. I was informed that the young lady "Cat" that serviced our property would talk to me after the service, and I could set up monthly, or bi-monthly service. "Cat" never knocked on the door to let me know she was even here, nor did she ever communicate with me... Now I'm out $95, and for what?? Run as fast as you can from this company.., Now I am once again on the hunt for a reputable Pest control!!
