Pretty good!
Mimi L.

I got a green smoothie for myself. It tasted fresh and very pleasant to drink. Service was friendly and prompt. Will visit again.

personally will have to give this another try and maybe choose a different drink as i think i just didn't like the flavor of the one i got. this is the smoothie shop that has replaced the jamba juice that was in the food court of valley fair. we were deciding between one of the classic strawberry banana smoothies but decided to try the strawberry colada instead. it has pineapple, coconut, strawberries, non-fat milk and vanilla. for some reason, it tasted a bit odd, i think from the coconut and i could feel the bits of coconut as i was sipping. however, my partner didn't mind this. service was fast and had no problems ordering. will be back to try another flavor as a better comparison!

Just bought a small smoothie for $11. For that price, you would think they would use real products instead of water as the base for mixing.

I'm not usually one to frequent this shop, but a $5 coupon finally gave me the excuse to try one of…read morethose "investment-grade" smoothies I've been eyeing. I went with the Coffee Crunch, and honestly, it's no joke, it is delicious and absolutely packed. However, at an $11 price point, that coupon was the only thing keeping it in the "reasonable" category for me, especially since the portion is just a standard size rather than something more substantial. The layout of the place is a bit of a trip; unlike Jamba where everything is out in the open, the staff here is tucked away in a back kitchen area. I spent about five minutes waiting for my order to emerge, wondering if I'd been forgotten! But if you're looking for a quiet escape with god-tier air conditioning, this is the spot. I stopped by on a sweltering afternoon and it was nearly empty, cool as a whistle, and filled with trendy, comfortable seating rather than your typical stiff restaurant chairs. While I'm personally not a "bowl" person, the rest of the menu looks great. It's definitely got more of a local health-spot soul compared to the corporate feel of the Jamba down the street. I'll definitely be passing this place along to my pre-teen daughter, it feels exactly like the kind of trendy hangout she's going to live at as she gets older. Go for the crunch, but definitely stay for the AC.

Highly recommend it! It's layered with so many good ingredients and the flavors work perfectly together. The only small downside is that they didn't have knives or forks available. Because the toast is so stacked, it's a little tricky to eat with your hands. That said... it was so good I didn't really care. The açaí elixir was also pretty good. Refreshing and something I'd order again. Service was a little slow but friendly, and the place seemed fairly clean overall. I usually go for a bowl at places like this, so next time I definitely want to come back and try some of their açaí bowls -- but once I saw that PB&J toast on the menu, I was locked in. Overall, I liked this place and would definitely come back.

Ordered delivery through a third party app: avocado toast, vanilla latte, Bacon Egg and Cheese…read moreCroissant. While I can't speak to most of the customer service experience, the order was packaged nicely and securely. The Avocado Toast was the star of the show for me. Probably one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had flavor-wise. While I do also appreciate a lightly salted plain avocado flavor, the cilantro + lime + chili was the kinda vibe I knew I needed (but had never experienced) in an avocado toast. The bread was thick + toasted + soft. Tasted better than I expected after reading the menu description. Pretty filling for $8.50, current economy considered ); Vanilla latte & Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant were also solid. I got an extra shot in the latte and found it to be adequately strong. The croissant sandwich was pretty good with what appeared to be real egg. My satisfaction for the value of the experience may also be skewed by the fact that I got a 40% off for $10+ deal for this meal. It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around how expensive everything has gotten. So, my 5 stars is only representative for the taste and presentation here, less so the value, ambiance, or customer service. I'd come back.

Thank goodness I have a voice! The croissant, egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich looked amazing on the…read moremenu--and it's very reasonably priced at $6.50. I ain't gonna lie; I'm all about customer service, good food, and value! When ordering, I was told they were out--of what I understood to be the bread--so I asked, "What other bread options do you have?" The cashier rambled off some options, including "white bread." Internal dialogue: "White bread? I didn't know that was still a thing." Turns out, next to the Texas toast, it was the lowest-carb option, so I opted for it. She rang me up at $14.50... $14.50!!! I said, "I don't understand--why is it more than double the price?" To my complete chagrin, she replied, "I have to charge you for a BLT. Would you like lettuce and tomato on your sandwich?" Mind you, they also offer a cheese melt for $6 that comes with the infamous "white bread" and melted cheese. All they would have to do is add the egg and bacon! At least, that's what makes sense to me. I said, "I'm sorry... I do not want a BLT. I just want what I ordered, and I'm okay with white bread as a substitute for the croissant." She insisted, "We can't do that." WHAT??!! I said, "Charge me for the melt, and I'll pay extra for the egg and bacon. How's that?" She said, "Sorry, we can't do that." Internal dialogue: "But they can charge me for a BLT and make substitutions..." It made absolutely no sense! She ultimately conceded--charged me for what I requested--and gave me this bland-looking thing that was barely warmed up, much less toasted! I went out of my way to support "my community" and introduce a colleague to this place. I was so embarrassed--for them and for us! Never again! To boot: I added an almond milk latte, which took way too long to come out. When I went to check on it, the barista looked at me confused. Just then, another customer ran up and said, "Oops! I grabbed your drink by accident--but I didn't drink from it yet." The top hadn't been opened, from what I could see. I surrendered, moped back to my mediocre white-bread sammy, and tried to enjoy the moment. I actually enjoyed the latte... I was about two-thirds of the way through it when I noticed the receipt said OAT MILK--instead of almond... Ayyy, mi gente! Jamás!

Nice to have this mango dessert place in the food court of the mall …read more It used to be at Milpitas and Cupertino only and it is quite had to find parking in ethe same parking lot of those two locations . Valley fair mall has a lot more parking structures so more parking . However , strongly recommended that you avoid the weekends. Even if you try to get out of a parking garage like 3 pm , sometimes the wait could be 2 hours !!! I ordered D5 mango coconut drink with aloe Jelly . It is not too sweet and I love the coconut juice and the chewy of the aloe jelly. The mango is fresh and sweet . There are other varieties on the menu : mango ice cream , mango pudding , mango crisp and pudding , etc . We placed the order then found a table to sit down . It was fairly fast ( less than 5 minutes ) then our drinks were ready . The flavors are very consistent every time we visited .

Looking for a refreshing summer drink? I found it at Hui Lau Shan in Valley Fair Mall!…read moreThe stand sits on the main aisle of the Food Court - omg, I generally don't go there. But, like a magnet, I was drawn to the drinks with orange colored mango fruit. They looked like slushies-of sorts. In the back of the stand ladies were slicing up loads of mangoes-fresh! These drinks remind me of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. I ordered the mango, coconut and sago drink...and it was delicious The price is on par with matcha lattes that I get. The more flavors in the drink, the prices go up ($7+ tax and watch the payment screen since each charge defaults to 20% tip!!). The order service is quick. Tip2: Don't ask a lot of questions or the staff can get tetchy about it. As with any food court this size, it is noisy and crowded - no ambiance at all. Take the drink to go and find somewhere quiet to enjoy!
