Tried to add some powdered parm to absorb the 10 gallons of sauce. Lol.

7-12-26 Sunday evening Just Got a Margherita Pizza ... at PizzAMore. ( my wife wanted to try something local other than Hot Tomato or Pablo's Pizza ) So, First the good - Friendly person at the register. The rest ... the pizza looked like a crime scene ... waaay too much red sauce... splattered everywhere! No other flavor - No olive oil- basil & a smattering of mozzarella...All I taste right now is a tsunami of red sauce. A Margherita Pizza is supposed to represent the colors of the Italian flag ... this work of art? Was street flag graffiti with one color that would make Canada and China proud! Red! 2 Countries famous for their pizzas! I support local when and where I can ... I also support good pizza and attention to detail. Unfortunately none of that happened tonight. PizzAMore is PizzA-NO-More for me for now. There was enough sauce on this pie for 10 pizzas and a meatball sub. Save the Sauce! And pay attention. You can do it. But tonight I can't undo $35 and a subpar Pizza ...So, I'm popping some Tums for the heartburn and leaving this review for people I will not meet - If you want a pizza ... you might wanna look elsewhere. If you want a Lot of sauce and breadsticks? PizzAmore is the place. Dave A. Grand Junction

Pizza has the perfect amount of grease on it., pepperoni was nice and crispy. Hubby never eats his crust and did with this pizza. We got 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pep. We also got a cannoli which was very yummy. Next time we'll prob go to tho establishment so that we can have it fresh and not 15 min cold from the DoorDash drive.

First time here, was very happy with the quality of the food. The staff was friendly. Got their salad and pizza. I would definitely come back again. Recommend giving this place a try.

Really good by pizza. Better than Dominos for sure. Tastes more authentic than Bostons and is a blend of Hot Tomato pizza but with a more robust red sauce which I like. Nice staff too.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Service was quick and friendly. Nice family owned restaurant. Played great music and had a great time with my family! I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We came here because our first choice restaurant was closed Christmas Eve and I'm glad we did!! They have several options, the usual pizzas as well as some of their own. They have gluten free and cauliflower for crust options. We got the carnivore with a gluten free crust and the basil chicken pesto. We LOVED the carnivore. It was tasty, juicy and overall delicious. The pesto was interesting with the pesto sauce, basil, feta cheese and maybe garlic? But I couldn't have more than one slice of it because it felt heavy. I'll recommend these guys over and over again for pizza, if you're looking for good pizza in Grand Junction!!

Service was sparse. I sat at the bar. Sat there 6-8 minutes before the blonde person at the bar said hi. I had to wait another couple of minutes since she was talking to a guy behind the bar and a couple other people sitting at the bar. It sounded like friends, not customers. Eventually, another bartender came on named Bailey. She was service oriented and took my order. She knew I was ready and I think she understood. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before she got on the clock. It's funny how things work out. Bailey took my order of two hotdog, mustard and onions, and almost immediately the blonde bartender, I think her name is Taryn put dirty plates right in front of me. The dirty plates sat there a few minutes and when Bailey brought the dogs out she took away the plates for my request and apologized. When I asked Bailey for the bill, I was surprised to find a charges of $.50 for mustard and $1.00 for onions. I truly love a good hot dog and these were pretty good. I wish they were grilled, but I came to found out this establishment steams their dogs and they are a grill less & greaseless. Very green and I respect that. But a dog deserves a grill. I give Bailey five stars for service. The other person named Tyron, one star.

However, the inside was gorgeous with tall windows and nice decor. You walk into the Maverick hotel and go the 4th floor to get there. 3 out of the 4 of us in our group ordered the Shakshuka, which was flavorful and delicious to soak the sourdough into. I recommend over easy or over medium for your eggs on this. Served with feta and sliced avocado on top. We also got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and were pleasantly surprised to see that it came with entire filet of salmon for only an extra $6. We were expecting a few slices of salmon, but this was great! The fresh toast was ordered for the table. I found it to be a 7/10. Loved the peach inside, but was underwhelmed overall. If you're a group of 4 maybe consider getting the fresh press coffee, which our server recommended we do. Perfect serving size for us, but if your group drinks a lot of coffee just get the drip. Chalee was our server, and she was wonderful and kind. AC was BLASTING, if you run cold bring a sweater.

This was confusing the me since that's what they are known for and it did not look like they were busy. Oh well. We ordered the caprese salad, the chicken paillard and broccolini. The caprese salad had nectarine and pecans. It was seasoned well and was a good sized portion. The chicken dish was delivered and I was a bit disappointed in the size of the chicken. This was a small breast with wing. It was not enough to split. The broccolini was cooked well and was tasty. While the food was presented well and was as described in the descriptions, I felt the portion sizes were small for the main dish and the money charged. This was an okay meal for me.

The bread tasted freshly baked, and the flavors all came together perfectly: savory, well-balanced, and not overly greasy. Great portion for the price too. In the…read moreend, what we got was okay-not really that good but was fine for the purpose of eating on the road. The menu has a fair amount of interesting options but knowing what I know now they probably sound more interesting than they taste. We grabbed the tuna melt & the turkey/hummus/avocado wrap. The former was, again, okay. I'm not entirely sure there was cheese on it and if there were it certainly wasn't giving "melt". The tuna itself I was happy to find there wasn't too much mayo, maybe the best part of the sandwich. And the filling was plentiful with a nicely toasted bread. The wrap felt like something I could've gotten in a rest stop for half the price and would not order again. We also grabbed potato salad which I would not advise doing again. The prices for the sandwiches are fine, but the prices for the drinks are astronomical. We ordered maybe ten minutes in advance and it was ready by the time we got there, which was nice because it seemed that the lunch rush had started and the one person behind the counter seemed a bit stressed by the influx of customers.
