Chicken and rice plate - spicy

The BEST value for money in Squamish, hands down! Never actually tried the pizza but it's our towns only kebab shop, and the family who own it are SO lovely and kind.

    Pepperoni mushroom pizza.

Meh. Falafel plate is mediocre and didn't seem that fresh. Probably be better off with a kabob or Indian pizza.

Really enjoyed the donairs. Some outdoor seating. There is lots of parking at the lot on the corner.

They made a vegetarian Indian style pizza, which was delicious. Great service, tasty food and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We got here after 8+ pm for a late dinner after off-roading in the Squamish valley. The place was…read morebig and luckily it was not full house as it was a weeknight. There were many tvs and a big screen projector showing the hockey game. Then I noticed Canucks jerseys hanging from the rafter and on the walls. Ok, so sports was big here. It was not rowdy though. We sat away from the main dining hall and got a corner table near the entrance. Service was ok, took a while for the requested extra napkins to come. Our server forgot about it. Guessed it was busier in the main hall which was on a spilt level up. Food wise, it was decent food in a neighborhood pub. Not a huge selection but it had the typical food here so everyone should be able to get something they like. The calamari was surprisingly good. Tender lightly battered squid, not rubbery at all. The whiskey bbq ribs with fries and slaw were good too. The wild BC salmon burger with clam chowder was so-so. I wished the salmon was a bit less over cooked. Salmon was lightly charred outside and unfortunately the inside was a bit hard. At least not too dry. I would prefer the salmon to just have a light crisp with the inside being 70-80% cooked. The miso glaze was nice though. The clam chowder as the side was bad as it did not taste like it at all. It was more of a cream of vegetables soup with some bits of clams in it. That was a disappointment. Fries or salad for the side in future. I also had the Moscow mule. It had real ginger bits in it. I didn't care for that as you kept getting them in every sip and they were real gingery spicy. Not a place I would make a special trip for, but a decent place for a meal when passing by. They open till 12 midnight or 1 am. Nice sized parking lot in front and back of the building.

The baked Brie was rich and creamy, while the potato skins were loaded with flavor and made a great appetizer to share. For our mains, we enjoyed the smoked brisket, rack of ribs, and brisket beef dip. The brisket was tender and smoky, the ribs were perfectly cooked and fell off the bone, and the brisket beef dip was hearty and packed with flavor. Portions were generous, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. The service was attentive, personable, and efficient throughout our visit, making us feel welcome from start to finish. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the area.

We ordered the jambalaya, a burger, and the smoked beef brisket dip. The burger ended up being the favorite of the table. It was well-seasoned and came with fries. The jambalaya delivered the flavors you'd expect. The brisket dip wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt casual and welcoming. It's the kind of place that's easy to eat at after a day of hiking or exploring Squamish.

Our AirBnB hosts listed it as the only 5-star restaurant in town so we made a last minute reservation, which they graciously accommodated. What a great choice! First impressions don't convey 5-star, but once we settled in, the cozy and casual ambience was perfect. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list and we dove into the cocktail section. Really smart and interesting selection - would've loved to try more than two. We had a featured appetizer - an heirloom tomato salad with goats cheese and gazpacho dressing. Fresh, well presented and delicious. We also ordered the bread with lemon butter and olive oil. The multigrain bread was fantastic! For mains, I had the kobe beef and my partner had the meatballs with a side of roasted carrots. The beef melted in my mouth and the chimichurri sauce was possibly the best I've had. The meatballs and carrots had a decidedly north african flavour profile and were beautiful and balanced. Their menu is fantastic - if we lived nearby we would return to try almost everything. So glad we didn't stay to eat dinner in way-too-touristy Whistler or we would've missed out on this gem.
