This place is delicious. Flavorful, colorful and creative food. We had the Saha poutine and a Feta Royale pita wrap. Saha poutine had tons of interesting toppings, from halloumi to tahini to fried onions. Very substantive and easy to pretend it's a bit healthier than most poutines. The fries had a good flavor but I wished they were a tiny bit crisper. The pita wrap was a stand out dish - it popped with fruit and crunch. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and modern with a nice indoor/outdoor space. A more casual restaurant that's great for a laid back lunch or dinner. read more

Came in on the way to Whistler with an exhausted 3yo. Food came out hot and fast and server was super nice and accommodating. The place was very cute with lots of younger people enjoying dinner. There were 10 of us and we decided to do a take out menu. It clearly stated that there would be a 15% automatic gratuity added for any orders over $100 which surprised us. There were basically telling us that they charge a mandatory fee for larger take out orders, essentially a premium! Not a biggie and we promptly placed the order in person (because they would not answer their phones!) and were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. We walked the neighborhood to pass the time and fully anticipated a wow meal based on the past reviews. Now, I would have given them 4 stars but gave them 3 for the following reasons. Both the cashier and one of the servers could have been friendlier. One surly server actually said "this is a bad place to wait" instead of suggesting a better place to wait. Secondly, the food was good but not great. It was a disappointment. I feel that Saha has become popular and that they are now taking things for granted rather than earning it. I hope others who read this have a better experience. Try Pepe's Chophouse (as we did the next day). The food, the timing and the service were far superior. read more

I am going to talk on behalf of Squamish standards. If this was based on Vancouver standard, it would be a low 3 stars to high 2 stars. Food was good but it was definitely not wow. I have had better Lebanese food elsewhere. I did find the portion size small for what they charge. My friend and I ate at a different restaurant restaurant before coming here and was hoping to do their happy hour. Unfortunately, we did not realize that their happy hours was on weekday only. It was fine because they don't have happy hour menu specials items anyways. If you do or able to dine during their happy hours, its 15% off entire menu with limitations. We ordered a chicken bowl to share. It came with hummus, a tiny pita bread cut into 4 pieces (doesn't taste like freshly made but more like either made days in advance or the store bought ones), 1 chicken skewer, a few greens and some potatoes. The food was very skimpy for $18.25. This costed double of what you get at a restaurant in Vancouver downtown and for half the portion also not as good as Vancouver restaurants. But I can't have my standard high since this is the only Lebanese restaurants in Squamish downtown. When we went the restaurant was very empty unlike the other restaurants in the area. We picked Saha because it was the least busy out of all the restaurants in Squamish and it was open. Also we just came from Coppers and the restaurant was so packed that we decided to leave because there were people waiting out the door (wait was 30 mins to over an hour). We showed up on a busy day - family long weekend Saturday. Saha was empty with one other occupied table which was nice for us because unlike Copper, we were able to have a nice conversation before checking into our hotel. Even other restaurants nearby like Salt & Vine were fully booked on Saturday that they were not willing to take walk in. Not to mention the cafes like Zephyr Cafe was super busy with people lining out the door as well. Gemma our server was really nice. She was very kind and she was very chatty that day. We liked her as our server. When the food came, it was bought out by another lady dressed entire all in black coming from the kitchen. That lady slammed the plate onto the table like she was mad. Not sure why she was angry. Overall, quality wise it was good for a small town but definitely can't compete with many restaurants in Vancouver like Nuba etc. Also they are the only Lebanese restaurant in Squamish downtown. The upside is that this restaurants was so empty that day that my friend and I can have a nice conversation without so many people around unlike almost 99% of the restaurants in Squamish Downtown that were open at that time. I do like the decor of the place compared to many restaurants in the area. but if you are talking about quality and taste of the food it would be one of the lower end restaurants in Vancouver with no sit down. Do I recommend this place? For food, I suggest going to Copper. For atmosphere and somewhere without a lot of people than yes. read more

Tasty food and good service. Stopped by for a late lunch and it was actually quite busy. However, we didn't have to wait for a table or wait long for our food. The server was super nice and friendly. We shared the falafel bowl and swapped out the roasted potatoes for fries instead. It was a tasty meal with lots of flavours going on and was super filling. Honestly, I think this could be shared by two people. The server also offered us hot sauce. It was a tasty sauce that wasn't very spicy and had some acidity to it. It was a good sauce to go with everything. The falafels were crisp, salad was refreshing, and hummus was good. Overall, a very satisfying meal and experience. We went there and wasn't sure what to expect. It was delicious! We sat on the patio which I have to say faced a parking lot so wasn't the most scenic. If I could suggest one thing, is to bring in small trees or other foliage to mask the outside. The food deserves a beautiful atmosphere. We ordered the lamb sausauge, the salmon with chimichurri and the appetizer platter. Everything was good but the stand outs were the appetizer platter. WE loved all the componets and how they worked together. We like the spice of the lamb but found it a bit greasy. The salmon was tasty but overcooked. In general a really good meal. This is a cute little morrocon/Lebanese restaurant in Squamish and I'm really glad my friend wanted to try this place. Before coming here, I was looking at the menu and saw that they have poutine but it was on the brunch menu, so I was kind of hoping they would have it for dinner as well. Fortunately, the waiter was nice enough to put the order in for us and made it for us for dinner so that was awesome!!! We also ordered the Harissa chicken bowl which came with hummuss, pita bread, roasted potatoes, tabbouleh, and pickles. The bowl was good, pretty standard, and refreshing. The star was definitely the poutine. If you are looking for the classic poutine, this isn't it. IT's their own take on poutine but it was delicious. They use shoe strings fries and their own spices and cheese. Oooh that cheese was so yummy, it was fried a little on the outside, so it had a nice a little texture. I wish there was a little more sauce/gravy because the dish overall was a little dry. Other than that, everything was good. Service was great. We didn't see this place a few years ago, so eating here was a real treat. Everything is delicious, really. Small, cute place with good service. Our party of 8 ordered a variety of things off the menu, and with the dishes, we enjoyed some pale ales and Whistler Grapefruit beer. What I can rave about is the Mereguez Sausage and Quinoa and Eggs (Saha style). See photos. Wow, very tasty! Our friends ordered some of their bowls and sauteed prawns. Delicious Lebanese food, many vegetarian and vegan options. All gluten free items are marked clearly. The only thing on the menu with gluten in it is the pita bread. This means even things going in the fryer are gluten free. Had a nice lunch on the patio with my husband. shared large zaatar frites, falafel, and two slices of halloumi (could've gone with just one slice - halloumi on its own is quite salty). The server was friendly and gave us complete confidence re: my husband's celiac disease. Wish we lived in Squamish (or even BC) so we could come back. read more

I love Mediterranean food, so I stopped by this place for dinner during my stay in Squamish. I ordered the salmon bowl, which comes with a salmon skewer, salad, potatoes, pita, and hummus. On paper, it looked good, but when it showed up, my first reaction was, where is salmon? The potatoes overnumbered everything else on the plate. Everything other than the potatoes was rationed and left me feeling regretful for choosing this place. We stopped by here on our way back home from Whistler. We ordered a couple pita wraps. Service was fast. I ordered the beef kefta pita. It was pretty good except I would have liked more sauce. Some bites I found to be a bit on the dry side. My salad was nicely presented with a balsamic and herb dressing. The frites were fried well and seasoned appropriately. Ambiance is modern and a date worthy place to hang out. Prices are a bit more than North Vancouver pricing for similar cuisine but we are at Squamish here. read more

The nabatti platter is very filling , but I gotta say the falafel was a bit too dense, and the beef patty wasn't quite flavorful enough. The lentil side was delicious however! Took a day trip to Whistler to go rock climbing. I don't go to Squamish often, but wanted to find something special and different to try out. Looked up places around Squamish on Google and found this beautiful restaurant! The staff was very helpful with questions and recommendations. The flavours in the fries and the wrap were great. My only complaint is that the fries were cold when I got them... Which was a little disappointing. All in all it was a good experience and I'm happy to have tried something new. I also noticed on the wall that they have a wide selection of wines. If I wasn't climbing that day I would've helped myself to a couple glasses for sure. read more

This place is brilliant! I came in on a recommendation from a local. While we were hoping for their famous fried cauliflower, it was not an option on the brunch menu served from 11-4pm. I did get the beef kafta pita with fries. It was awesome. Well seasoned. Nice amount of beef, pickles, and tomato. The side of hot sauce was perfect. The heat hits you right in the back of the throat. The cost is extremely reasonable. $23 including GST for two people (no drinks). What did I learn today? We found this gem after hiking Panorama Ridge. We showed up in the middle of the day to this small spot tucked in a small plaza. The interior was beautiful, staff was attentive and kind, food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We shared falafel and a salad called the Quinoa Royale. Best salad I've ever had!! Another Yelp win. I pass through Squamish several times each year, and I am pleased as can be about tonight's experience at SAHA, all thanks to Yelp. I was lucky to be able to squeeze in as a single diner at the counter along the window. Lucky because the place was full. I had the falafel bowl and it was great, hit the spot after a day of biking in the rain at Whistler. The people next to me had several yummy looking items, which furthered my commitment to stop here again on another trip. I hate to say it but I wasn't a fan. I got the chicken pita with fries. I found the pita to be a bit dry it needed some more sauce to give it that extra kick. The meat was very juicy though I enjoyed the flavor. But the fries were more like chips very hard and then to have some sauce for them cost me $1.75 more and even that didn't help them out. I think it's a cute spot, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I would not be anxious to come back again. read more
