Stopped by here for a quick bite without much research and was very impressed! Had a great vibe and lots of seating, as well as WiFi! The food was also really yummy - the highlight was the Garlic Aioli (like a Toum garlic dip + mayo) and both their types of fries were good too! Super yummy. Got the Chicken Wrap - the sauce makes it. The Halloumi wrap was kind of plain, could use some meat haha. read more

I ordered the chicken tawouk wrap, it was just okay. I should have gone to Mr. Shawarma up the street. The portion size was VERY small and it was a lot of bread. Mainly bread actually and some chicken, maybe one pickle and a couple fries. However the bread is very good and definitely made fresh but it's not want I was expecting Loved the inside and ambience so would go with maybe a group but I don't think I'll return at least for a wrap. A wrap was $16 read more

I really delayed going here because I wanted so many things! But shame on me because this food was delicious. I only got a few things so I will preface that I will be back, and I recommend you go with others so you can split things. Basic me got the Cheese Manousheh (traditional Mediterranean akkawi cheese manousheh spread on dough and baked) and a Quinoa Tabbouleh Salad (mix of chopped parsley paired with quinoa, diced tomato, green onion, and fresh mint with a zesty tomato lemon dressing). The Manousheh was so perfectly grilled and not overly greasy. The cheese is light and I wish I had a hot sauce to pair with it (I did at home). This was so comforting and delicious. I tore into it and used the salad as a pallet cleanser. The dressing and finally chopped parsley was so well paired. It was delicious. The place is huge and clean. Staff were friendly! I'm literally drilling thinking about my next trip! read more

Zaatar W Zeit - I highly recommend ordering this egg flatbread - Lebanese Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

Decided to try Zataar w Zeit before heading to the airport for a quick and healthy lunch. There was no line and we got to order right away. The gentleman taking our order was a bit brash and short with us but it may have been a cultural difference. He also didn't inform us that after we ordered cold items, that we should grab them from the cold case near the entrance. So we were waiting for our food for over 20 minutes when decided to ask for an update and he told us that we grab the items ourself. Didn't really love that customer service. The items we tried tasted fresh and I felt satisfied with my selections. read more

Checked out Zaatar W Zeit for a late weekday meal. It's a casual Mediterranean spot. They have a second location out in West Vancouver. - Classic hummus ($6.49) - came with crackers. Hummus was dense - Yam fries ($8.99) - not crispy - Quinoa tabbouleh ($12.49) - prepackaged. Small portion, not worth the price tag - Halloumi cheese ($11.49) - bland - Green baked falafel ($13.49) - like how they spread the falafel out read more

The strawberry cheesecake was nice and creamy, and not too heavy. I wasn't a fan of the crust as it was quite powdery, but I normally like a crustless cheesecake. The quinoa tabbouleh was light and refreshing. It had a little bit of mint, which I quite liked. I'd rate this place 3.5 stars. read more

June, 2025. Granville/Vancouver. My husband and I were in downtown Vancouver on a Tuesday evening, and were randomly walking around -- to acquaint ourselves with the city but also looking at options for a place to get dinner. We had eaten a fairly heavy lunch, and wanted something lighter and with fresh ingredients. After covering quite some distance, and passing many pizza places, we came across Zaatar W Zeit. The restaurant bills itself as a "casual Lebanese urban eatery", providing "fresh wholesome goodness." We reviewed the menu at the entrance, finding quite a few choices that looked good and met the criteria of being healthy. Plus, they'd be open until 10 pm (about 2 more hours), which would allow us to enjoy our meals in the restaurant. We made our way to the back, where there is a counter to put in orders. Unfortunately, neither of our choices were available. However, in hearing that we wanted salads, the hostess directed us to a refrigerated case that contained ready-made salads. Given the hour, she would give them to us at 1/2 off. We each chose a salad that we would share for variety. My husband selected the Seasoned Chicken (normally CAD$15.99, about US$11.70, reduced to CAD$8.00, or US$5.85), which featured a bed of lettuce and arugula, topped with oven-roasted carrots and beetroot, cherry tomatoes, fresh green and red peppers, and grilled chicken. The dressing was honey garlic mustard. I chose the Quinoa Halloumi (CAD$12.99, reduced CAD$6.50 or US$4.75) with quinoa, grilled vegetables, beans, peas, slices of cherry tomatoes, and topped with grilled holloumi cubes, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and a tomato lemon dressing. Both meals were generous in size and tasted great, and the price point definitely couldn't be beat! We only drank self-serve water with our meals. In retrospect, we might have ordered some bread to go with the meals but, then again, the quantities were already good. The restaurant has a nice urban vibe, with other patrons engaged in quiet conversations while eating, or solo customers browsing on or charging their electronics. Staff were friendly and helpful. We learned later (through their website) that Zaatar W Zeit started in Beirut, Lebanon in 1999, and now has franchised restaurants in 9 countries. Only 7 are mentioned on the website (Canada, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE). We would definitely eat here again when next in Vancouver. This would've been a 5-star review if they had our first choices from the menu. read more

Huge restaurant with lots of seating and wireless charging on dining tables. Food was good. Order at the register & find your seat. Servers were nice. The spizy chicken was really good as it had melted cheese & arugula. The flat beef tortilla item was okay but a bit oily. There's also a refrigerated section that had soups and a variety of food items for sale. read more

I'm happy to see there are new items on the menu. We tried the green hummus and it makes for a delicious appetizer! It's made with pesto. The service was good. Walk in, order at the counter, and have the food arrive at your table within a few minutes. Ambiance is exactly what I'd expect it to be at ZWZ. Easy, laidback, and practical. Help yourself to some water. Love that we can wirelessly charge our phones on the table. Cool concept. I had my eye on the burger wrap although I went for my favorite the mighty kafta. There's always a next time! Hubby had a zaatar and labneh with veggies wrap (not on the menu but they can easily make this for you). I love that they put the olives and mint leaves :) a taste of home!! I was sad there was no knefe. Was it never on the menu in Vancouver? (Comparing it to Lebanon) since I have a sweet tooth and no meal is ever complete without dessert...I opted to try the ashtalieh which was OK I don't think I'd have it again. It had very little flavor. The syrup and nuts made it better. And of course since we live in Seattle we took some zaatar and jebneh manakeesh to go!! All in all, great food, great location, great vibes. My trip is now complete! read more

I've come here a number of times over the years. Usually I get random cravings for their Manousheh. Ideal for a light snack and the flatbread tends to be the right texture. There are a variety of seating options here. They take your order at the front then give you a number and will bring your food to you. The staff is generally very nice and helpful when you have questions. Overall, this place has many affordable lunch options and is situated near the SkyTrain and malls so it is definitely transit friendly. The space is larger and does have tables for larger groups if needed. read more

Zaatar W Zeit - Wild Zaatar Manousheh - Lebanese Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

This is a favourite of mine for a quick meal downtown. Their menu offers a healthy take on Lebanese food, but it doesn't have the plain vibe that you may associate with "health food restaurant" - instead, you will notice that everything on the menu is made with pure, balanced, no-nonsense ingredients. It's a very comfortable environment to relax and enjoy a meal; I love the cozy booths and armchairs. I've tried a large assortment of the vegetarian selections off the menu and there's nothing I've tried that hasn't been delightful. It's all clean and simple but flavourful food. My most recommended items are the wild zaatar manousheh in the savoury category for a slightly different take on zaatar manousheh, ashtalieh for dessert, and Lebanese coffee if you like really strong coffee - I'm not recommending these because they're necessarily the best on the menu (I don't think any particular dishes really rise above the rest), but because they were the most memorable in terms of being something I haven't tried elsewhere. The service model is fast-casual where you order hot food or choose from a selection of ready-to-eat items at the counter, and staff brings food to your table in a timely manner. I have always found the staff to be friendly. read more

Great place for a casual meetup with an industry colleague/friend. Comfortable seats, good food, friendly staff, and a clean bathroom confirmed it as a top choice. I tried their 'famous' chicken wrap for takeout. The fresh flatbread was nice. The chicken was nicely cooked but underseasoned and bland. Not much in terms of veg either. The ratio of chicken to bread seemed off with too much bread. Also the bread was thick and adding the fries made the wrap feel very heavy and lacking meat. Note that it is roast chicken, not grilled, so you wont get any bbq char flavour. Pricing is on the high side for a wrap like this too. Service was fine for a takeout place. venue it self seemed nice and clean, pleasant for a casual fast food type meal. overall just ok. read more

This spot is in a super convenient location, which made it perfect for a quick lunch with a colleague. I got the chicken shawarma with fries and it was fresh, flavorful, and had that authentic taste you want. Even though we showed up during the lunch crowd, the service was quick and smooth. The staff was really friendly and made the whole experience easy. The store is clean, casual, and comfortable, great for a relaxed lunch break. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for good food without a long wait. read more

Shoutout to Kalim at the counter for the stellar customer service! He patiently walked us through the menu, considering it was our first visit. We went for the Zaatar and cheese with extra cucumber, olives, and tomato, plus the Combo 1 with BBQ steak. Spoiler alert: everything was a flavor bomb! The Zaatar and cheese mix, jazzed up with those fresh add-ons, was a taste of Lebanese perfection. And the Combo 1? It's like they've mastered the art of turning steak into lunchtime magic. Seriously, it's the epitome of classy fast food - quick, tasty, and with that extra touch of Lebanese goodness. This place is a lunchtime gem, and if you haven't been, you're missing out on a delicious experience. Get yourself to this spot pronto! read more

The location and ambiance is clean, I love the service they were all nice, they were kinda slow but it is an event. Their food was okay, I like the chicken wrap, the rest I think the herbs were too strong or the flavour blend was too bland. The pita wrap was too thick. Kinda got sick after two bites. Their pudding is not my jam. Their coffee is good though. Not sure if I would go back but it's overall because it's not my preference. read more

A nice place to grab a bite while awaiting my travel partners' arrival. The bread to filling ratio of my wrap was a little lopsided imo but it was tasty. Looking for a quick bite in downtown Vancouver? Zaatar W Zeit is a Lebanese eatery in downtown Vancouver that specializes in Lebanese/Mediterranean street food with a healthy twist; the food is freshly prepared/baked, includes no preservatives and is locally sourced. I first fell in love with them when I lived in Dubai and was so excited when they opened their first Canadian branch in Vancouver in 2019. Their menu is delicious and reasonably priced and their meat, chicken and cheese are certified 100% Halal. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the service is friendly. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch, dinner, or even a snack. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed! We tried: Cheese Manousheh $9.99 Classic Zaatar $6.49 Chicken Escalope $14.99 Kenefeh Pan $13.99 Blossom Infusion Make sure to order the cheese manousheh and classic zaatar so you get a taste of the classics. The chicken escalope is a new item on their menu and the flavours reminded me of authentic chicken shawarma and it's also a must try. Healthy & casual ~ nice quickie mea spot on Granville (just south of Pender) Ordered in: Zaatar & cheese, Halloumi cheese sticks And to go: Mediterranean pizza, Lentil soup & Chocolate Mousse cakes My friend introduced me to this place, so happy she did. Perfect for lighter meals ~ lots of vegetarian options, tho plenty of meat if you want it too. High ceiling, modern casual decor, with a variety of self seating available. Place your order at counter & they will serve food to your table (after giving you a pager). Take-out fridge offers convenient to-go items Zaatar & cheese, like a baked pesto-ish with cheese quesadilla Halloumi cheese sticks - lightly breaded, not greasy & reminded me of traditional 'squeaky' poutine curds cheese Sorry, forgot to take pics of the pizza & lentil soup. Mediterranean pizza had ultra razor thin crust with ends. Was told lentil soup was light and flavourful. Loved the chocolate moussecake cups - light chocolate shavings with mid-dense mouse with lightweight cake. They have Happy Hours between 3-6pm & 50% off take-our fridge salads after 7pm - unfortunately couldn't take advantage of either during this visit. Staff was friendly, paid decent prices, didn't feel guilty after eating here - would come back again! (find me on Instagram @aida.loves ) read more

Dropped by early Saturday and was surprised it was fairly busy already. I didn't expect the space to be so open and deep. My friend and I both really liked how there seemed to be three kind of sitting spaces: loungy in the front, chic grab-n-go bar seating in the middle and fast food booths in the back. The entire space was welcoming and so clean! My friend ordered a chicken wrap and I had a cheese manousheh. So delicious, baked fresh and fluffy oozing with cheese. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. I can't emphasize how nice it is to leave any kind of food establishment not smelling like food/drinks. This might be my new go-to spot in dt. Concept Review I discovered this place because they are a luggage storage location. Though I didn't order anything, I want to showcase this place. what a celebratory concept: LOVE REGARDLESS. The motto--which is more of a kind life goal and lifestyle reminder--is messaged across the chest of the staff, on the walls, and even in the washrooms. What the world needs more of is coffee, deli options resting in the hammocks of glass display cases, and optimist messaging to a world that needs to learn to not fight back, but fight forward. Please patron this place. Grab a pastry. Grab a coffee. read more

Walked in and ambiance is quite busy and loud but if you're okay with it, it's nice for a quick meal and go! They also have available grab and go meals if you're in a rush, you're waiting at least 5-10mins for fresh food. The staff was super friendly, I had asked for recommendations and this is what I've ordered: * Chicken Tawouk * Levantine Lentil Soup (Recommend) Highly recommend getting the soup or get the combo, super flavourful with a hearty creamy richness to the slurp. I fell in love, as for the chicken Tawouk wrap, the sauce and flavours were delicious but unfortunately the chicken was dry but besides that, the flat bread was tasty and fresh as well, the pickled veggies were crisp. Decided to give it a try after reading the reviews but was very disappointed. First of all the Lahmeh was not anything like the advertised photo. It was soggy, cold and only a little beef filling. Worst I've tasted in lower mainland actually. The chicken wrap was ok but kinda blend. I asked for hot sauce hoping to elevate the taste of the foods but they had none. So I begged to let me buy a bit of hummus. Was told I have to get the cup size only. But I insisted I was willing to pay for just a spoonful. Again, disappointed at how blend it was. Service was also mediocre at its best. The staff there were poker faced. Nice decor but won't go back. read more

I'm always looking for new culinary experiences and this was one. Lebanese food is a bit of a mystery for me and since I've become a vegetarian, I was excited to go to check out all their vegetarian options. Everything my girlfriend and I ordered was awesome and I'd buy them again. We ordered the: - Mediterranean Flat Frat - the imagine with all the greens on it - Zaatar with Cheese Manousheh - the image that looks like a quesadilla, but I'd say it's way better. - Meghleh - the image that looks like chocolate pudding. - Blueberry cheesecake - Coffee My favorite was the Manousheh. They do not cheap out with the cheese here which I love, but what made it so good was the bread. I could have just had a plate of that warm bread and some hummus. This place is a definite return for me and I will definitely check it out whenever I'm Downtown. I'm kind of surprised they haven't opened one in Coquitlam yet....(get the hint). read more
