Cheap low quality pizza nice folks New to town and the closest good looking pizza options were all closed by 8pm. I will not order chain pizza so I ended up at this spot. I grew up in Redlands and Little Caesars is usually my go to for pizza at a great price buuuuut ever since I discovered Pizza XPress my thoughts have changed!!!! We walked in to the pizza restaurant and were welcomed by the delicious aroma of dough and spices. There's ample sitting space to dine in but usually patrons take out. Greeted by Sam, really nice man. Showed us our warm delicious pizza pie before purchasing. He invited us to try two gelatin desserts one mango and other was strawberry, boy were we delighted. My favorite is the mango, then he did one up on that mango desert and introduced us to Mango rice pudding. We walked out purchasing the delicious mango rice pudding even though he wanted to gift it to us. Once at home we enjoyed our large pepperoni pizza and left no crumbs. The crust is fluffy full of flavor with the right amount of topping and the crust was perfectly baked, not dry or crunchy but with a kiss of a toasty texture. This tiny hole in the wall no frills pizza place is the place to get delicious cheap eats. We got 3 large 3 topping pizzas, an order of buffalo wings, an order of bread sticks and a two litter for 35.99. The pizzas were delicious and full of toppings. The buffalo wings were good but could you use a little more sauce. The bread stick were breadsticks dip them in ranch it is awesome. The owner is a sweet man who helped me out to my car. I think if the wings were not baked and served in the same container, that could reduce a bit of the greasiness. Also, I prefer my wings to have less skin left on. I love fried hot wings so chose this style. Also ordered two large, 2 topping pizza special. Order was placed and received in less than 40 minutes. At first look, I could tell the wings were not fried and actually looked like they were left under a broil or direct fire for too long. Burnt on a few pieces. The flavor is lacking, very bland. We ordered habanero and BBQ. Very disappointed in both. Now for the pizza, ordered pepperoni and mushroom on one and pepperoni and jalopeno on the other.
