I feel like this kitchen can make any sandwich you can imagine. My eggplant sub was saucey and heartwarming. The freshly made pizza (sorry, not pictured) looked great, and was pretty darn tasty. BUT THE STAR were the CANNOLIS. Good lord, they were fantastic, and I miss them. My Mom stubbornly was like "the best ones are somewhere else" but she's cray. These were phenomenal. And BIG. Don't listen to my Mom, and GO HERE for cannoli goodness. The savory stuff was good, and great ingredients. I feel like it's missing a tad bit more flavor. Maybe I didn't get creative with toppings. But it was all good. Will def go back, next time I'm in CT.

The breakfast sandwich with sausage was hearty and delicious, and the breakfast potatoes complemented it well. The strawberry banana pancake included the perfect amount of fruit, with crispy edges and fluffy inside. It's the perfect size to split as "breakfast dessert"! At one point, I got up to ask the bartender instead of continuing to wait. Pancakes were absolutely massive but fairly bland - with three varieties, they all tasted pretty much the same. Very little fruit. Massive amount of butter that saturated each dish and made them borderline inedible. The vibe is rustic mixed with old diner. The table was not clean and had crumbs from last night's dinner service. Overall, very underwhelming. Only reason it got two stars instead of one is the portions are gigantic.

The inside of the place is a little of a cleaned up improvement from when it was Farina's, but similar layout. The small pizza was basic/decent and hence the 2 stars. The chicken tenders were not tenders, they were dry sliced up chicken cutlets. The chicken parm sub....real bad. It gets it's own paragraph. The breaded coating fell off of the chicken before even taking a bite. The chicken itself was rubbery, maybe because it was frozen? Or did it need to cook longer? About 90% of the mozzarella cheese was stuck on the wrapper. The sauce left something to be desired. An inch of two of the sandwich on one end didn't even have any filling in it.
